Love it!
Aug 16, 2016 By mynicknamewasstolen!!!I love the pointer that shows which direction you are going, when streetview cruising. I have an idea that I've been looking for, for years: ok, so you place a mark on a map, then a second mark, and then get all the info that you would get if you typed in addresses in the "to" and "from" fields... Such as, distance between points, directions from one point to the other, option to label points, etc. this way, if we are already looking at a place on the map, we can set a point there, just like we can on regular maps, HOWEVER, we can set a second point, and opt to get directions from the first point to that second point. I don't know how many times I've had to copy and paste addresses when it would be easier to tap and get directions. You can name it iPoints. more -

Oct 29, 2018 By Zanesworld1I saw this street view on someone’s phone long before I had a smartphone- and after catching up and coming into the 21st century with the iPhone, I was always disappointed I never had that view i remembered once seeing. I do all the contributor activities and have all the ‘google’ map apps and this app takes it to a different level. Luckily, i happened to STUMBLE across it and as much ‘iPhone understanding’ as I THINK I have, I knew nothing about it! Please get a billboard, sky writers, or cigars made that alert others of this magnificent advancement! Thank you more -
Worth every penny
May 1, 2019 By Bobgcookas an armchair traveler I love this program. I use it to look at everything. It is super fast and super efficient ; now they have had to add a fee due to Google charging fees for their access but for me it's totally worth it. Google maps has certain limitations and this program lets me do Street view with a lot of functions that I can't do the other way. Some people on the Internet whine if they ever have to pay a subscription and I try to avoid them too but in this particular case it is worth every penny. This is probably my favorite app. Bob Cook more -
Excellent - far superior to Google Maps app
Jul 30, 2016 By DavidMBrownThe views provided by this map are far superior to those of the Google Map app. This app provides full screen view of the map, unlike the Google app, which uses 1/3 of the screen showing frequently unwanted information. I frequently want to view large areas at a time, which this app makes possible. In addition, the user interface is well thought out and effective. more -
Great map
Jan 17, 2018 By aNYsurferEverything workers great but I can't get rid of the black label that tells me where I am at all time. Even when I touch the map elsewhere to get rid of it. It comes back up after a few seconds. The arrow is good but the black strip with the guy on it just blocks roads and names I want to see. Otherwise is has great traffic detail. Finding places close to you works great as well. They just have to get rid of the street view guy and his label. more -

MY FAVORITE MAP
Oct 8, 2018 By Florida GrandmaAs someone who grew up with AAA maps and Triptiks, I love looking at maps when I'm planning a trip. Now I've graduated to maps on my iPad and this is my map of choice. Dropped Pin lists no city
Aug 31, 2016 By Ryan Bruce StevensI still love using this app. However, when I drop a pin on a location it no longer lists the city, just the approximate route and address. Is there a way that dropping a pin will also list the city again please? Thanks. -

Street view from contacts is a crap shoot . . .
Dec 27, 2017 By glennfromkansas_cityPrevious operating systems for the I-pad had this feature built in making it possible to look at streetview of a house or address from contacts in your address book. With the new I-pad this feature doesn't work anymore. I assumed this app would restore this feature. It sort of works but often does not show the correct house or address. Knowing what my house looks like and friend's houses look like I was able to drive up or down the street or look on the opposite side of the street. However, for the most part, it's a random view of a street somewere or someplace if you have no idea what the house or address is that you're looking for from your contacts. This app may have other features or qualities but street view from contacts is why I purchased this app and it doesn't work as well as expected. more -
Was the best map app until the subscription model started
Aug 8, 2018 By DaemonaquilaI paid for the app years ago, and it has been by far the best mapping app until it went subscription. I had pointed a friend at the app, who downloaded the new version right after they changed over the payment model. It was far too expensive to bother with, when there are free and low cost options that will do the job. I never updated, and will happily use my old version until it stops working, but this company will never get a cent in subscription fees from me. more -
Screenshots Lie
May 3, 2017 By kotasdScreen shots indicate it would show a moving map, this only downloads google turn by turn for the watch. If you expect a moving map do not buy. If you want dangerous to read tiny text that will likely cause an accident this is the app for you. Useful GPS screens are well established, and are not text based turn by turn lists. Fix the watch gui, quick glance should show turn arrow over map, with option to display distance. Big, high contrast, should be able to get all info in 1/2 second glance. more -
Map changes
Aug 11, 2018 By street view!Purchased this app years ago and it worked great. They recently went to a subscription base which I paid for. Now I can’t get a street view from my 100 + contacts which is why I use this app (you can from bookmarks). Support went silent on me with this problem. Will look for a new app and stop payment on my credit card. But don’t worry, they added a great “Worthless” temperature reading on their map! I’m sure everyone wanted this and not a street view. more -
DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!
Oct 22, 2017 By Looser352I bought this because I wanted to have a google like layout for my Apple Watch instead of having to use apples imaps. The image previews are completely misleading and falsely advertise the features it shows. App only downloads another to do features that don’t even work. I truly wish I could get my money back considering after 5 minutes of having it, I figured out that it was pretty much a scam. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. I would give less then 1 star if possible. more

iMaps+ v2.1 now uses the Google Maps Vector SDK. The update brings the following great improvements:
New Features
- The map can now be rotated and tilted (two finger swipe up or down).
- Viewed areas are now automatically cached for offline access.
- Detailed location information including official websites, telephone numbers, opening hours, user photos and reviews can be seen for search results.
- Radar Search : Click the radar next to the map mode selector to locate on-screen places of interest. These include restaurants, petrol stations, post offices and more.
- Share locations via Facebook, Twitter, Email, SMS or by copying a link.
- You can now track your heading as well as location. Tap the current location button once to track your location or twice to track both location and heading.
- Swipe horizontally over popovers to move between direction steps and search results.
- Slightly updated directions display.
- A compass now shows in the top left hand corner of the map. It indicates the north direction of the map and can be tapped to reset map rotation. In heading tracking mode, the compass points to the real-world north.
Bug Fixes
- Clicking the current location button will no longer zoom you out to a fixed zoom level.
- Directions can be cleared from a cross in the popover above the final pin (purple balloon).
- The help screen is now accessible from a dedicated button in the navigation/tool bar. Choose to have directions reported in miles from the help screen or main settings app.
- Clicking off of the current location marker to hide the popover does not disengage tracking (a scrolling motion still deactivates tracking).
- The map mode selector is now less fiddly.
- Fix for the compass orientation appearing 90 degrees out when in landscape.
- Fix for the search field appearing distorted in landscape.
- Fix for the map randomly scrolling diagonally.
- Improved performance and reduced network usage.
Changes
Unfortunately, changing to the vector SDK has required the removal of the dedicated public transport layer (train stations, bus stops etc. still appear but the optional layer showing lines between them has been removed). This layer will be re-added as soon as it is possible to do so.
Known Issues
Street View Distortion When Zoomed Fully Out:
Google's images are distorted due to the use of wide angle cameras. Warping the images onto a sphere removes the distortion but severely reduces performance rendering street view unusable. When WebGL support is added to iOS, it will be possible to warp the images without impacting performance but in the meantime, note that the effect is much less noticeable when zoomed in.
Remember to leave a review if you enjoy the update and report any bugs or feature requests to help.imaps@gmail.com
IMPORTANT: If you are having trouble with the latest update, please delete and re-install the application before use. Also close all other apps from multitasking (double tap the home button, press and hold on an icon, click the minus next to each) and restart your device. This should fix any issues you are having. If not, contact help.imaps@gmail.com for emergency assistance.

- Full screen mode for street view.

★ Known Issues ★
Street View Distortion When Zoomed Fully Out:
Google's images are distorted due to the use of wide angle cameras. Warping the images onto a sphere removes the distortion but severely reduces performance rendering street view unusable. When WebGL support is added to iOS, it will be possible to warp the images without impacting performance but in the meantime, note that the effect is much less noticeable when zoomed in.

- Zoom in and out in street view mode.
- Street view can now be accessed from a pin, either by clicking the yellow pegman or by clicking the blue arrow and selecting "Street View". Street view is still accessible by dragging the yellow pegman from the top left hand corner of the screen to the map.
- A new help screen that shows on first launch or when shaking your device.
