Might Solve Apple’s Broken “Collaborative” Playlists
Jul 6, 2022 By unstatusthequoI want to use this app to help solve the issue of not being able to edit shared playlists in Apple Music. My wife and I share playlists, but whomever receives the share can’t add to it. This is a ridiculous Apple limitation, and I’m hoping this solves it. Developer was very quick to respond to feature request idea. Looking forward to using this more. more -

Missing a few basic features

Great app - just a couple of missing features

The only thing keeping this from five stars is the lack of native CarPlay support. I listen to music in my car a lot and not being able to use the app in CarPlay is a major miss. Also, add Shortcuts support that I could send a song to a playlist from Apple Music via the share sheet. more -

Alright! Strap in for this big update. Here's what's changed:
1. All new design for the now playing screen. It's now easily dismissible by just a swipe and also the AirPlay and Add to Library buttons have moved down for quick access.
2. All new design for the Mixtape screen, including a glance at the track count and total duration of your mix. Add Track button is out of the way, so you can see more of your music.
3. Track Sorting is here! You can now sort your tracks by the Time added, Album, Artist, Title, or even who it was Added by. What's more? You can sort by Your Reactions, so all your favorite tracks will go to the top and the ones you disliked will play last.
4. New Mixtape Info screen with a Leaderboard, so you can see who's the boss in your group.
5. All new design for the mix template view, including some bug fixes.
The next update will focus on making the app feel super smooth for our most demanding users with massive mixtapes. Stay tuned!

Another update already in less than a week!
We made a number of improvements related to sharing your mixtape:
1. New button on top of the screen to quick bring up the sharing and participant screen.
2. When you share a link on social media it now generates a nice preview
3. New quick sharing option to share links with a single tap to iMessage, WhatsApp, Twitter, Messenger or Instagram
4. When you share invite on iMessage it generate a beautiful preview of your mix including the cover art
And we made improvements to shuffle mode, so it now works just like the iOS Music app. We’re also starting a new tradition, every release note will now include a Artist Recommendation.

First major update to Caset is here!
In this version:
1. We've added the ability to add music from your local music library
2. Fixed an issue where importing large playlists would only add first 200 songs
3. Added the ability to swipe to go back
4. Added the ability to tap the tab bar to go back
5. Made performance improvements when browsing Apple Music
This version includes bug fixes and minor improvements, including:
1. Fixes an issue for where some users may see 'Decoding Error' after a participant joins the mixtape. Please ask your friend to leave the mixtape, update the app and rejoin.
2. Fixes an issue where users on older iPhones had UI issues where editing.
We fixed an issue with the links, so now your friends can use the same link to download the app and join your mixtapes.
We changed the mixtape invite message to include a one-tap link for your friends to download the app.
We changed the Gallery to be the default tab after you install the app, so you can discover all our mixtapes and get a better feel for Caset.
Sometimes we all make changes and they don't necessarily make things better, so we reverted something that was causing a bug. Happy mixtaping!
