Good concept, needs work
more lessI’m one of those folks who will pay a subscription to help development of promising apps. And while Car OS is promising, boy does it need some help. The developers need to take a hard look at CarPlay, and why it’s so successful. CarPlay doesn’t get in the way and it just works. Car OS is constantly pausing my podcasts for no apparent reason, browsing through the music is far more effort than it should be, and the native navigation is basically useless as there’s no good way to interact with it. This could be a a really great app of the developers would put a little more thought into how the product is actually used, and iron out the bugs. Also, please provide native support for Audible and Waze (outside of the dreadful default navigational interface). Many of us use those apps regularly while commuting.

I also wish that the application would automatically open when starting my car and the Bluetooth connecting to my phone. Would also like if the app wouldn’t open other map apps when already in the car os app.

It’s actually a good app, but...
more lessI’m just a college student I can’t afford to pay for something like this but am ago hating just the free portion and seeing things online the app seems really effective. What I can do is watch/listen to ads. If there was a free version that had all or most of the features and played an ad every time I opened the app I would be more than happy to watch those ads. I can’t pay for it with my money but I can pay with my time. I’d hope the dev of this app would consider creating something like this.

more lessThis is app cool looking and has lots of potential. The section where you can add favorite apps constantly crashes. The UI is intuitive but I can’t dedicate money to an app that hasn’t been updated in over a year. Update this app and make the fixes and I’ll consider trying again.

It’s actually a good app, but...
more lessI’m just a college student I can’t afford to pay for something like this but am ago hating just the free portion and seeing things online the app seems really effective. What I can do is watch/listen to ads. If there was a free version that had all or most of the features and played an ad every time I opened the app I would be more than happy to watch those ads. I can’t pay for it with my money but I can pay with my time. I’d hope the dev of this app would consider creating something like this.

more lessI was trying with out wi5 my very few employees so that they are able to share the location of the work truck, does not work. App force closes whenever you try to share. iPad Pro here, not the device. Very buggy app in general.

more lessReally wanted to like it, but without navigation in the app, it’s just a group of icons and a dash cam. Good start of an idea, but need to tie into the navigation platforms.

~ DISCOVER 10,000 RADIOS IN YOUR CAR! ~
A little more than the conventional FM band in your vehicle, you will now be able to listen more than 10,000 global radios with a single touch. The new CarApp Radio allow you to search any radio by name, to launch live listening in some seconds, audio streaming giving you a better quality than the classic FM of your car! It will of course be possible to have your favorites radios, and one more thing, you can simply navigate between your favorites from the Driving Mode with the previous and next buttons.

We have re-designed the CarApp Podcasts to make it even more fun to use, now enjoy a new "Unread" section to instantly find podcasts you have not yet listened with your device. About the navigation within your podcasts, we have also improved the things, it's finish the classic table, enjoy a wall of podcasts simply displaying images of your favorite shows, a simple touch and you can simply view all episodes available to listen.
~ ALL NEW NOTIFICATIONS ~
In order to save you time, we have reworked the notifications that CarOS® send to you.
- Locate your car: Now the notification is displayed when you move away from your car, and now we have even integrated the map to locate it, directly in the notification, no need to launch CarOS® just to find out where it is.
- Start driving: To save you ever more battery, CarOS® will no longer consult your speed in the background to offer you to launch the app, but will now offer you to launch CarOS® when you return to your vehicle, more secure and fast!
Note: These two smart notifications can be enabled / disabled in the CarApp Settings.
