Only subscribe through Apple
more lessI decided to try out the premium version and bought it online and there is absolutely no way to cancel the monthly subscription once started when purchased that way. When I emailed the company they gave no reply for over a week and billed me again. I just sent them another email but will just be disputing the charge with my bank. If you must have the premium version of this horrid app please do yourself a favor and purchase in app and not online like I did unless you want these people to be able to rob you.

Great idea if worked better
more lessHad this for the free trial and glad I had the chance to drop it before the end of the week. Every trip, about 5 minutes in, it would ask me to click to find my car. I was already driving and didn’t need to know where my car was. It seemed to work in reverse. Instead of when I left the car it told me in the car. Small issue but super annoying to me.

Not very useful without navigation
more lessIt’s listed in the navigation category but can’t do navigation within the app, have to go out to another map app. Not sure what the point is then, it’s the main thing I use my phone for when driving. Could have such good potential but unfortunately really limited for the price.

more lessIf you like looking at icons and that’s it this is the app for you! Because that’s all you get to do in the free version, if you decide to touch one of the icon bubbles it’ll pop up “Discover CarOS” which means pay us. Oh yea and they have a problem with their built in google maps, it doesn’t load anything. Good luck !

Be Aware! SCAM!
more lessThe developer continues charging your credit card under PREMIUM MODE ABU DABHI on your credit card after you’ve canceled the subscription. The charge is for $2.99 They nearly make it impossible to cancel or detect. It is a HUGE scam!

Worst app
more lessThis is the worst app. It looks very promising. I was impressed when downloading but by the time I had opened it and tried it out it failed. When using the app and music app such as Apple Music or Spotify it skips, kind of like a cd skipping, very annoying. The fact that I have to open other apps to use instead of using all of the apps is very counterintuitive to what their goal is. Like you should be able to use the dashboard and see everything while using waze turn by turn directions and to be able to see music from Spotify. It’s a get idea, just poorly executed. I hope they make changes to this soon.

Ok, but needs work
more lessIn theory this app seems like it has a lot of great features. Unfortunately because nothing is free I had to learn the hard way the app and features are very buggy. Podcast randomly opens and facial control (main reason I paid for sub) is buggy and a hit or miss.

No trial period
more lessThis app like many others require you to purchase prior to using. What that means is if you don’t like it or it does not work you lost your money. Sad to see this since the app does say try 1 week free. Yes you can open app but you do not have access to any function unless you purchase subscription. Leaving 1 star for this reason. SAD!

more lessI would legitimately look into buying this if the free version would actually allow me to try this and not just look at the icons. Even a 7 day trial would have been an opportunity to use the features. Sorry guys, app deleted. Guess I’ll need to wait til I buy a new car to have car play.

IOS 15 update has ruined its performance
more lessSince the IOS 15 update it wont automatically switch from the app back to the radio after text and google maps voice recognition now no longer recognizes things it did before

A little more than the conventional FM band in your vehicle, you will now be able to listen more than 10,000 global radios with a single touch. The new CarApp Radio allow you to search any radio by name, to launch live listening in some seconds, audio streaming giving you a better quality than the classic FM of your car! It will of course be possible to have your favorites radios, and one more thing, you can simply navigate between your favorites from the Driving Mode with the previous and next buttons.

We have re-designed the CarApp Podcasts to make it even more fun to use, now enjoy a new "Unread" section to instantly find podcasts you have not yet listened with your device. About the navigation within your podcasts, we have also improved the things, it's finish the classic table, enjoy a wall of podcasts simply displaying images of your favorite shows, a simple touch and you can simply view all episodes available to listen.

In order to save you time, we have reworked the notifications that CarOS® send to you.
- Locate your car: Now the notification is displayed when you move away from your car, and now we have even integrated the map to locate it, directly in the notification, no need to launch CarOS® just to find out where it is.
- Start driving: To save you ever more battery, CarOS® will no longer consult your speed in the background to offer you to launch the app, but will now offer you to launch CarOS® when you return to your vehicle, more secure and fast!
Note: These two smart notifications can be enabled / disabled in the CarApp Settings.
