Simple, easy, almost perfect
Oct 7, 2019 By DVPARKERI’ve been using this app in conjunction with a few other plant apps for the past few months and this one has quickly become my favorite. I don’t need to add extra details, I can name the plants whatever I want, and I can add/edit reminders as I see fit. I can easily adjust reminders settings as well, this is helpful as a novice plant parent who is still figuring out what works! The reasons I did not give 5 stars are these: I wish there was a previous calendar (it could be super minimalist, like just a list or something) that shows more than just the immediate previously watering/whatever item is scheduled. I’d like to look back at maybe 6-8 weeks of what was completed when so I can pick up on trends. Also, this is less necessary but a cool add on could be a spring/summer vs fall/winter schedule for different plants. I’d be happy without this feature, as I haven’t seen it anywhere else and I prefer the minimalist style of this app and don’t want to ruin it. I never review things but this app performs almost exactly as I would like it to, and it seemed worth mentioning. more -
My Go To Plant Helper
Sep 26, 2020 By Poke'mon MasterI've been using the app for about a year and it's really solid. The design is simple and clean. Also, each plant is easily editable for those new plants that you don't know personally enough yet to give a good spacing between waterings and checkins. I also like seeing the "contact photo" of the plants. It's cute because I think of them as my babies and I think most plant people are the same. It would be a solid five stars if the app registered a completed plant task the first time every time and dealt with the badge accordingly. Instead I often have to open the app again and close it so the badge number(s) correct themselves. A minor annoyance. Optimistically, in the future I'd also like to see a seasonal shift toggle. Something like in the summer time watering, sun, etc. are a particular set of values while also holding a separate set of values for the winter. Then being able to toggle between them. more -
Perfect
Sep 14, 2019 By DylanJH03I’m a total novice at gardening, but I became very interested in growing succulents and spices when I saw videos online. Needless to say, the watering schedule got confusing pretty fast, and so I looked up a tool to help and found this app. It’s really great, and works well to remind me which plants need watering (and how much watering in the notes), as well as when to fertilize etc. The only thing I’d like to see added is a choice to start a timer on a certain day of the week, for example, if I water a cactus once a week on Thursdays, I want to be able to add the plant in the app on a Monday but only start receiving notifications on the following Thursday, instead of having the plant sit in the “late” column for a few days, or starting the plant on watering day. Great job with this app, in any case! more -
User friendly and runs smooth
Apr 30, 2017 By Sara00700I have a few plants with different water cycles. I realized within the span of a month, I forgot to water/fertilize/mist at lest one plant. This app easily allows for editing of the length between waterings for each plant, allows you to add a picture, and allows you to see upcoming reminders. I personally have not had issues with the app crashing or not loading (unlike other similar apps). My favorite feature is the naming system. With this I have one plant that needs misting every few days, fertilizer every 2 weeks, and a water change every 9 days. I realized you can just add "mist" or "fertilizer" after a plants name so you can keep track of all three things (water/mist/fertilizer) in one easy to use app. more -
Awesome app
Aug 3, 2020 By ZitifryThis app has helped me with my little indoor garden and knowing when to water each of my plants. Before I was scared that I was watering them too much because I mostly have succulents. I even downloaded multiple plant watering app and in the end WaterMe won the little contest! The only reason it wasn’t 5 stars is I wish the notifications would make a sound like a text message or something else my phone is alerting me of. The notifications saying something like ‘Today is the day to water Casper and Mouse!’ (Those are the names of two of my plants: using as an example.) Fixing that would make this a 5-star review! more -
So far so good!
Dec 11, 2017 By sarahrose93This is pretty much exactly what I was looking for in a plant watering reminder app. I've been keeping everything written on paper, but also wanted a way to remind myself about certain plants without creating a million calendar reminders (I have about 32 house plants). This is perfect! Runs smoothly so far. I love the photo feature so I don't forget what I named each plant :) A few things I would love integrated: 1. A way to backdate the latest watering when you first set up plants the app. As of right now, it's "water today" or just have them sit in the queue and get notifications for days until it's actually time to water them. 2. Options for separate watering types and schedules for the same plant, like "misting" or "soaking." Some plants require these things in between full waterings. 3. A place to keep track of how MUCH water goes to each plant. Both in tablespoons and cups. I would totally be down to donate some funds if these features are released! Maybe make them into a paid version of the app :) more -
Such a helpful--yet simple--app!
Jul 7, 2017 By KSD.....I'm the sort of person who can never consistently water their plants, so when I found this app, I gave it a chance. And it is SO HELPFUL. The layout is simple, but it definitely gets the job done. I don't have to take forever and figure out how to work the app! And my favorite part is that I can choose what time I want to be reminded to water my plants. I tend to water them in the evening, so it's great to have an app that will remind me when I'm actually at home and able to water the plants instead of me dismissing the notification early in the day and forgetting to water the plants at night. Great app! Kudos to the developer!! more -
Excellent reminder
Apr 29, 2020 By KgfugcggcuiutfvjIf you have a lot of different houseplants, this will help you remember that today’s the day to mist the ferns, but no watering the snake plant for another 3 weeks. Lets you add comments to reminders to remember things like fertilizer strength. Features requests 😁: A “growing season” and “dormant season” option for plants. Most need less water, less fertilizer, etc in fall and winter. A variable snooze button, so if a plant doesn’t need watering when it’s scheduled to, you can remind yourself to check it again in a few days - and so you can set how soon to re-check. A color-coded past calendar for each plant. So you can look and see all the times over the last few months that you watered, trimmed, fertilized... Can be great for diagnosing problems with a plant! Would gladly pay for these features as a premium upgrade! more -

Apr 19, 2020 By VyatkaGirlLove how simple and clean this app is BUT... 1) would be great if you could manually change the date the plant was last watered. Sometimes I forget to actually mark that I watered a plant until it’s the next day and I check the app to see what needs to be watered when I get a notification. Also useful if the plant is outside and it rained. 2) not as important but would be nice to have a tab for a calendar view with the pictures of the plants on the days they need to be watered/fertilized. Sometimes the regular view gets confusing because there are no dates for the “Later” plants so I have to click on them to see when they need attention next. Otherwise - love this app! more -
simple good app, one suggestion
Jan 4, 2018 By HobssI love apps that fit a single purpose and do it perfectly. While I understand that the scope of the app is simply reminding when to water plants, for the initiated in gardening this is a learning process. A plant may be said to need water every 7 days but reality is that sometimes you water plants before or after as you see them needing water. A great feature to have would be to keep a log of when the plant was watered and the number of days since it was watered. This could be accessed in the (i) Ivon at the right of every plant so is not intrusive. With this information one could adjust the alarms of watering una better way. more

Simple, extremely helpful
Dec 15, 2020 By aldhenjfndjsI’ve been using this app for a while, and I’m very pleased with it. It does exactly what is intended for! Really helpful for my gardening. One thing that could be useful if added, would be to have an option to set which plans are outdoors, and therefore would get watered in case of rain. In this way you could tell the app when it rained and all outdoor plants would be set as watered. Thanks! more -
Love it! And here's an idea.
Jun 28, 2017 By 1232324689432I love this app. The format is super easy to follow and I love the personalization for each plant. I had an idea because I have quite a few plants that you can't just water easily. Maybe add a space where a user can add a description for specific steps or notes on how to care for a specific plant. One example is a plant I have that needs a very specific amount of water, but knowing me I'll never remember that amount. It's just an idea I had. more -
Great app & helpful developer
Nov 4, 2018 By Katherinel1512I have tried a lot of plant reminder apps, and this is by far my favorite. You can customize any notification, and it shows you your late reminders as well as the reminders that are due that day. But by far the best thing about it is how helpful and accessible the app developer is. I emailed him straight from the app with an idea and he actually responded *and* implemented it into the next update! more -
Big love from a full time plant gal
Jul 29, 2021 By hammah6As a human being that works with plants for a living, all I needed was a database with targeted reminders and notes for my personal collection. This app is structurally sound, aesthetic, and so-far I’ve experienced it to be entirely customizable. ps I looked into about 10 plant apps and even downloaded multiple to feel them out. This is the hidden gem. more

Nice
Dec 5, 2017 By Kay47295I really like this app! With having over 100 plants to water this helps me keep track of them all so none are forgotten. But it could also benefit from a few things (in my opinion) like undoing a watering if you accidentally click on one you did not water. And maybe the app could keep track of what ones were watered when like a watering diary, so if one needed watered a day early or a few days later than normal you can remember it all. Or be able to take notes on them. Just some ideas but in all its a nice app. more -
Like!!!
Jun 26, 2018 By 🌼Flower Girl🌼I really like WATER ME! It has been helpful in remembering to water and fertilize. I like that it counts the days in between fertilizing for me! The problem I have had is that I entered reminders under the heading “other” for pest control, fungicide treatment, etc., and when these treatments come due, it simply says “other” and doesn’t let me know if it is for pest control or something else. It wish it would use the title of the task and not “other” so that I know what to do. Otherwise, a helpful app! :) more

Pretty good
Mar 13, 2020 By jazmineeeeeeeeI just got into growing indoor plants and have been having a lot of fun using resources around me like books and apps such as these. I wish that this app included a little more information about the plants you add to your journal. I also never received any reminders to my phone when I set up reminders every week on this app. You have to enter the app to see what to do. Other than that there are no glitches run really smoothly and would be helpful for more experienced planters. more
