I just downloaded it, so I can't say I have much experience with this app. But so far it's INCREDIBLE! This is the perfect app to help you see how Foods react it's 😄 perfect! for any type of diabetic! The only problem I am having is not with the app but with the client. While uploading, it says it cannot find my One Touch Verio IQ meter. I was having problems uploading my Dexcom but it seems to be working now.

  • Amazing App for Tracking Trends Jan 25, 2018

Our endo recommended this app for my 13 year old son and it has been an excellent addition to our care plan. It has allowed us to track how specific things impact his blood sugar by using the search feature and he loves the # concept. We have tried countless apps and he has never stuck with using them. This has been the exception. I love Tidepool because it allows us to communicate with his endo team through the note option and they can see all of his devices. No more keeping a log and writing numbers down. It’s brilliant. My son, his dad and I all three have the app as well as the school nurse which allows all to make notes. It truly allows us to work as a team in managing his T1D. I will continue to suggest the app to every T1D family I meet. Excellent job!

Tidepool is committed to making stuff work for you! As far as I know, they're the only guys making diabetes data displays that reach across brands, especially handy when you have a Dexcom cgm and Medtronic pump as I do. This makes my life so much easier, especially being able to add notes to give the story behind my data (illness, bad site, alcohol, etc). I'm forever grateful to this awesome company and the hard working people behind it.

I was really excited to start using Tidepool since I use an Omnipod but I can’t seem to even get passed 75% upload on the Uploader for my Omnipod. I don’t even have the option to share my health with Apple to connect my dexcom and I can’t connect my dexcom to the Uploader either. Is there a fix for this?

No mobile uploading? I have to upload data on the computer with their downloader, then analysis is done on the website. So what's the point of the app?

Seriously, every other data visualisation tool just shows me my data, WITHOUT having to add a not and then only showing me a few hours of it. Also, MAKE IT WORK ON MOBILE! This idea that to truly see your data you need a desktop computer is crazy nowadays. I want to like it, but so far I hate dealing with Tidepool.

I feel the app should have a dashboard. You can not see patterns and averages. I think it is basically a "hot mess". I would rather just go through the hassle of inputting my readings in myself on another app so I can my comparisons, see averages (daily, weekly, monthly...) Diabetes is complicated and i don't need my app complicated, too.

Not the same as the website. This is just the uploader tool. If you're looking for an app version of the Tidepool site, you're out of luck. Uploads of data you manually input is not helpful. That's just fine data entry. I've gotta put it in my pump and CGM. This does nothing for me.

I was enjoying using the web app downloaded to my Mac. That version works great. I’m disappointed that the mobile version of the Tidepool app doesn’t connect to that database. Not sure if is being actively updated. I would not recommend to download this app.

Very helpful and useful app. A couple issues I've had with it though: No OK/Cancel buttons in the "Change Time" dialogue, and an error pops up if I make a note when I'm offline. It would be nice if it would save the note locally and then upload it to the server when I'm back online later.

It's pretty good for a new app. Works great. It's very basic, with really only two options: create and edit entries. I wish we could use it offline, or at least make drafts that we could save later when connected. I'm excited to see what comes next!

Finally, a way to bring context to all the complicated blood sugar, insulin taking and other data. Blip notes allows you to add quick hash-tagged notes to your Diabetes data that comes from your meters and pumps. All correlated together in one place on Tidepool.

Good Idea. An option to add photos of meals would be a great option. This is the missing link in total diabetes management.

doesn't have an "ok" or "cancel" button when editing the time. I can press where I think it will be, but there is no indicator. otherwise good app; does what it should.

The app has almost no functionality. After syncing my health data, all I see is one note from months ago when I first tried the app. No data, no graph, nothing. If that isn’t bad enough, to view the data requires logging in using Chrome browser only. Such a disappointment.

This app is abysmal. I’d be embarrassed to put my name on it. You give it access to all your data and you see...nothing. You enter in some note (why?) and then you see something, but can’t really interact with it to get the views you want and the data you want. Why even put this out - it just hurts your reputation.

Why can't I see a daily/weekly/monthly summary from the app? Poor UI design.
