Great Apps for Professional Wedding Planners
Wedding planning has been around for a long time. But with apps, it makes it much easier for a wedding planner to keep things straight and make their clients happy. We'll look at some of the ways that apps can make doing your job as a wedding planner much easier.
One of the most sought-after professionals when it comes to the biggest days of your life is the wedding planner. Although many people arrange on their own, a wedding planner can help things go a lot more smoothly and take some of the stress off of the bride and groom.
As a wedding planner, even when you are just starting out, one of the most important things you can have is something to keep track of appointments you have scheduled. Decades ago, this would mean an actual book. These days, however, apps are much more useful, since you probably always have your phone with you and therefore you don't have to worry about forgetting your book. So, an app such as Booksy can be very helpful. It even allows you to receive payments, which is even more convenient.
Now, once you have your appointments set, the next thing that you will want is an app that lets you take notes. You want to make sure that you have all of the information down about the couple, such as their budget, the colors they want, what they want to have at their reception, etc. Once you have a few clients you're working with during the top wedding months, the last thing that you want is to schedule having filet mignon for a couple who are vegetarians! So, having an app such as Evernote can help you keep everything straight.
Finally, if there's one thing that 2020 taught us, it's that it's not always possible to get together in person.. Now, that's not to say that we're always going to have a global pandemic that is making us social distance ourselves (we hope not anyway). But sometimes it's just not possible to get together because someone's on the go. So, having an app such as Zoom or Skype is a must. This way you can talk face to face with your clients even if you can't see them in person. It's also possible to include people who are far away, such as friends or parents as well. Super easy and convenient!

Planning a wedding is never a job for just one person. In fact, often you will find yourself managing a team of 10 or 20 other professionals. Slack will give you a good platform to communicate, plan tasks, and succeed.
