Great Apps for Aspiring Archeologists
Archeology is such a fascinating topic. If you would like to be an archeologist someday, we have a few apps that you may find useful in your quest.
As an archeologist, one of the things that you are going to be interested in is the cultures and history of humans. So, becoming immersed in studying them is a good place to start. You can take courses through apps like Udemy if you only have a passing interest in them.
Of course, one of the most fun and delicious ways to learn about different cultures is to find some different recipes to try out. Use one of many recipe apps available on Android and Apple to find new recipes and learn about different lands through their food. You may just find a new favorite taste sensation.
Now, unfortunately, there aren't a lot of opportunities for travel due to COVID. However, the good news is that it's not going to last forever. Eventually, we'll be able to go to other countries and explore cool things in person.
That doesn't mean that you are limited to staying in your own country while sitting on your couch right now. Thanks to apps like Google Earth, you can go and see the pyramids, the Great Wall of China, or many other places that you can't explore in person right now. Yes, it's not the same thing as going there in person but hey, no expensive plane tickets and long lines at the airport to deal with, so that's a huge plus.
Finally, until you are able to go on a real archeology dig and find some cool stuff in person, there are a few games that you can use to create excitement. One of the most popular games is Dino Quest. This fun app lets you dig up dinosaur bones. Who knows? You may even discover the legendary T-Rex.
I've only started to scratch the surface of the many great apps that you can use if you want to be an archeologist someday. Check below for other apps that are recommended, and please feel free to add your own. Thanks for reading.
