Best Apps for Traveling in an RV
Do you have an RV, and are you ready to travel? We've got some apps to help you out and have a great trip.
Going across the country can be a lot of fun when you are traveling in an RV. You're seeing the sites, seeing new places, experiencing new things, and exploring the open road.
One of the best things you can do to enhance your RV travels is download a GPS to see where you are going. Waze is a good one that has many handy features to help you find your way and keep on track of where you are going. Not only does it show you the route to take, but it has traffic alerts, maps, and more. Very handy for any road trip!
Now, once you have your GPS, one thing you know is that you are going to have to get gas. Fortunately, there's a very handy app for that called GasBuddy. This app lets you know where the cheapest gas is in your area so that you aren't spending all of your time (and gas) driving around to find the best prices. Because you know, that would kind of defeat the purpose.
You will also want a good app to tell you where all the rest stops are and where you can get food. Even if it's just to get out and stretch your legs, if your RV has a bathroom, you want a nice place to stop.
Finally, anytime you are going anywhere while driving, you want to keep track of the weather, so you know what to expect. If you are traveling during the winter, you especially want to know the road conditions and if you have to deal with ice or snow. But being aware of rain coming too would be handy.
If you have an RV, you are in for an adventure. And with the right apps, you can help you and your passengers get there safe and sound.

Whether you're spending 2 hours on the road or trying to go 20 hours straight to your next destination, the weather can be very dangerous to RV travelers. Get storm or high wind advisories for your route on your phone.
