If you are going to have your knee replaced, we have some apps that can help you through your recovery.
My mother has had both her knees replaced. And though the second one went better than the first, it still was pretty painful. For people who need a knee replacement done and who are active, it can often get pretty boring for them to have to limit themselves on what they can do.
Although it's not specifically tied to having your knee replaced, having a couple of apps that can help you stay occupied is a good choice. Apps such as Netflix offer a variety of shows and movies to watch. Or, if you want to just close your eyes and rest, you can listen to a good audiobook.
Also, since you are not going to feel like cooking, a delivery service app is a great idea to download so that you can have your favorite foods brought to your door.
Now, along with taking it easy after surgery, one thing that your doctor will tell you is that you have to exercise your knee. I suggested such an app below, but it's also a good idea to have an app that reminds you to do your exercises and when you should take your medicine. This also can help you with keeping your doctor's appointments straight. Todoist can help you remember everything that is important.
Finally, one thing you want to do is to have a good note app so that you can take it with you to your doctor's appointments. You can write down the questions that you have for your doctor and keep track of the pain you're having. This way, you don't have to rely on your memory. Evernote is one of our favorite apps because it is so easy to use.
Having your knee replaced isn't easy. But with the right apps, it can make things a bit less difficult for you in the long run.
