Best Apps for Teaching Kids About Ocean Ecosystem
Are you heading to the beach this summer? We have a few apps that you can download to help your kids learn about the ocean while you're there.
Now that the summer is almost here, many families will be going to the beach, and the kids will be playing in the ocean. But wouldn't it be cool if children could learn about the ocean and the creatures in it? There are some apps that your kids will enjoy using to learn about the ocean.
One of the fun ways they can do this is through an app like Ocean 4D. This app uses augmented reality to show creatures from the deep like clownfish without even going to the aquarium. This amazing app is fun and educational, and even adults are going to enjoy playing around with it.
Another way that you can teach children about the ocean is through an app such as Splash: Ocean Sanctuary. This app is actually one of my personal favorites because not only do you get to experience gorgeous fish, but you learn about them as well in a fun game. You have a fun little turtle who takes you on your adventure in a coral reef and lets you know when new or rare fish are coming. You also learn some facts about the ocean and the creatures in it as well.
Finally, if your child is a huge fan of Jaws and other movies about sharks, why not let them track real sharks with an app like Shark Tracker - OCEARCH? Whether you are at the beach or you are at home, and you've just watched Jaws for the 100th time this week, this app is sure to get your child interested in learning more about oceans and the real sharks that are in the oceans. It helps you to be a great parent by letting you encourage your child's love of sharks.
