Best Apps for Scheduling To-Do Items in a Calendar
It's not always easy to remember and keep up with all the tasks we have to do every day. However, using an app can make it easier to set up and accomplish daily goals.
One of the keys to efficiency and increased productivity is having a good task management strategy. Every day, we’re saddled with tasks of varying degrees of importance and urgency at work, school, or at home. We must manage these tasks efficiently if we are to be productive and save time. An inability to effectively manage tasks may also lead to a waste of energy and material resources. You can effectively manage your jobs by using a to-do-list app like Todoist. This app has features to help you organize your schedule by date, time, and priority. It has color aids to help you recognize priority tasks as soon as you check your tab. The reminder feature sends you notifications whenever it’s time to carry out an assignment.
That said, scheduling tasks on your own is one thing, but collaborating with others or working on assignments as part of a team might require some practical skills of task scheduling and delegation. Organizing, scheduling, and tracking tasks among a team can be efficiently carried out using Asana. You can use the app to organize, coordinate, and distribute workloads among members of a team. It’s also possible to monitor ongoing assignments and keep track of long-term projects using Asana. That way, you get to arrange tasks according to due dates, assigned members, or other criteria. Also, Asana has a custom scoring system based on points, hours, or custom criteria that lets you know which task members are getting too much work and those getting too little. Members working on a particular project can communicate using the comment feature. Comments and work history are archived on Asana, and this can come in handy for things like task reviews and billing.
Finally, it’s one thing to schedule tasks and goals on an app, keeping to them is another. The human brain is wired to love pleasure and hate tasking assignments. If you find that you’re not able to keep up with your tasks even after scheduling them, an app that makes scheduling and performing assignments fun might be what you need. The Habitica app is a gamified task management app that turns your to-do items into quests to be accomplished. As you chalk off items on your to-do list, your in-app character gets rewards and advances.
Furthermore, you’ll do damages to your character if you fail to keep up with your tasks. Besides, there are guilds on Habitica that connect you with other users of the app who share similar goals or interests. Socializing with other people is a great way to get ideas on how to complete your daily tasks effectively while being accountable.

This app looks as though it was developed exactly to satisfy the requirement I specified in earlier messages here. You enter tasks into a list and then drag them into today's day plan. You can specify the required time by dragging the edges of the task in the day plan. I haven't yet used it. A problem is that the app was developed under an older version of Android and hasn't been updated recently. As of 2020-04-15 I ran it fine on Android 10. I sent email to the developers to see if they are still active.

It looks like a great app, Clark. Thanks for recommending it, I look forward to checking it out, and hopefully, the developers get back to you with a newer version.
