Best Apps for People Interested in Medieval Life
Dream of kings and kings, knights and princesses? If you're a fan of medieval times, I've got some apps you want to check out.
If you are like me, you're a huge fan of kings and queens, knights on horseback, jousts, and castles. I remember going to Medieval Times: Dinner and Tournament years ago and how much fun it was. I'd love to go back again, once things get back to normal.
But until then, there are plenty of ways that people like you and me can enjoy medieval life right in our homes through apps. One of the best ways to do it is through one of the many history apps. There are quizzes, the History Channel app, and much more.
Now, once you have gotten your fill of history, or you just want to take a break, there are many fun games that you can play that put you right in the thick of medieval times. Whether you are a King or Queen, or you decide to portray a knight or princess, or even a prince, you have many games from which to choose so that you can find just the right one to while away the hours and pretend that you are back in the 5th to the 15th century rather than the 21st. Reign in the castle or battle for your leige. It's your choice.
Finally, if you would really love to see some castles in real life, maybe someday you can take a trip to England, Scotland or Ireland. But for now, there are plenty of apps that let you see castles throughout the world. The one I recommend, however, is Google Earth. Not only can you see castles but you also can see other historic buildings in and places. It's an amazing app that takes you around the world right in your own home.
What's your favorite medieval app? Recommend it below and check out our own recommendations. I'd love to hear from you!
