With COVID, one of the things that many people have noticed is that they have gained weight. With all of the stress and worry about what is happening, the added problem of gaining weight is just another thing to consider. So, we will give you some tips that you can use to help you maintain a healthy weight.
The first thing you want to do is to get a calorie counter app. This will help you keep track of your calories that you intake and be more aware of what you are eating. If you are concerned about losing some weight, I also recommend WW. This is something I did, and it helped me lose 60 pounds. It also helped me to learn what I can eat to help me maintain my weight. With the exception of 1 or 2 pounds, I have kept the weight off for going on 3 years.
After you have downloaded a calorie counter app or a food diary app, the next thing you want to do is to find a good app that has healthy recipes in it. Oh She Glows is a great choice if you are a vegetarian. FitMenCook is a great app if you are looking for a variety of delicious recipes for everyone's palate. WW, which I referenced above, also has a large variety of recipes in it that includes the point values as well if you are going the Weight Watchers route.
Finally, along with keeping an eye on your calories and finding healthy recipes, you want to make sure you are staying hydrated. A water tracker like Water Time is a great choice. It sends you reminders so that you always know when it's time to drink some water. And keep in mind, remember when you would go to a restaurant, and your mom would tell you not to drink your water because it would fill you up? Now is the time to drink water, because you are going to be less hungry.
