Best Apps for Getting Through a Snowstorm
Winter and snow go together like ham and eggs. With the right apps, however, you can weather any snowstorm and make it through safely.
Oh, winter is here. For many people, such as myself in the northeast, this means snow and, sometimes, ice. It used to be that we would be glued to our television sets to watch the weather and see how much of the white stuff we'd get.
But these days, we have handy apps that tell us when the storm is coming. One of my favorite apps for finding out what the weather is going to be is Grumpy Cat. Not only do you get the forecast for the next few days, but you get a side of sarcasm such as Tartar Sauce (Grumpy cat's real name) only can give.
Now, once all that white stuff starts falling, you know you're going to have to get out there and shovel if you own your home and don't have an apartment. No matter how you prepare for it and what you do, you're likely to be sore the next day. But there are things you can do to help the pain be less.
A recommended app is the Stretching Exercises app. This app helps you with limbering up and warming up your muscles, so you're not going into the snow cold.
Finally, if you have kids and the television and the Internet are out due to the storm, chances are that they will get bored. So, one of the best things that you can do is to download a few apps that don't require any Wi-Fi to play. Yes, you might use a bit of data to download them, but it can seriously save you and your kids from going a bit crazy from boredom.
One of the types of apps that generally don't require an internet connection is the coloring book apps. There are plenty of them from which to choose and it's very calming and relaxing for everyone.
Whether you have snowy weather, rainy weather, wind, or ice, everyone here at Appgrooves hopes that you have a safe and happy holiday season and winter.

At least 6 years ago, my husband towed for a living. I'm sure if he was still doing it, he'd be a lot busier thanks to this app. We both have it on our phones in case we ever need it. It's very easy to use and great in case of an emergency.
