Best Apps for Getting Clients for Your Online Business
Looking for ways to build your business and get more work? We're sharing some of our favorite apps to help you out.
I've been writing for more than 13 years, and I love it. Fortunately, things have been pretty steady in the past couple of years. However, there were years where I was doing everything I could to find jobs.
Right now, I don't have my own website, though I am working on that. So for now, all blogs that I am writing, beyond what I am writing for Appgrooves, are going on my LinkedIn account. I also have a client for whom I write and that goes on his WordPress account. The great thing about blogs is that they can be about almost anything, and they show your readers how professional you are.
Along with writing my blogs and articles, another saving grace is the bidding apps, where I find many of my jobs. For instance, Fiverr is a good app to help you find clients. This doesn't require that you bid on jobs, though there are people who put it out there what they want or need. What you do with this is to create gigs based on what you can do. For instance, I created gigs for product descriptions and blogs.
Another good one is Upwork. Now, this often will require you to bid unless someone invites you to interview.
Finally, one of the best ways that you can help your business is by building your professional social network. It's a good idea to connect with other professionals who may know people who need your skills, and you may know people who need theirs. Having someone vouch for you is one of the best ways that you can build your business.
I recommend Common Connect. It's a great way to meet new people and grow your network.

Juggling too many social media outlets can eat up a lot of your time. Keep everything in one place instead and schedule your posts for Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, and LinkedIn in a minute. We've used this at work for more than 3 years. It just works.
