  2. Create a Cleaning Schedule to Help Chores Get Done
  3. Use To-Do Lists in Business to Keep on Track
  4. Have a Travel To-Do List so You Don't Forget Anything
  5. Help Kids Keep on Track With Homework Using To-Do Lists

When you have a special day coming up for which you're making a huge meal, it can be really hard to remember everything that you need for your meal. That's why a good thing that you can do is to create a to-do list of menu items to ensure that you have everything bought and made.

Now, this can be especially handy for holiday meals such as for Christmas and Thanksgiving. After all, you don't want to forget the ham or turkey or the potatoes for your famous mashed potatoes. And, depending on the holiday, the stores may not even be open so you could be out of luck if you forget to buy something.

However, with a to-do list app, you can make sure that you have everything you need for your perfect meal, from the pickles and olives all the way to the apple and pumpkin pies. When you make a to-do list and check it twice, you'll make sure that you have everything that you need.

No one likes cleaning. It's annoying and there are things you would rather do, right? But here's the thing about cleaning - if you keep up with it, then you will find that it's taking a lot less time and you have more time to enjoy the things that you enjoy doing. That's where a to-do list comes in handy.

A popular option is the Wunderlist app. This handy app lets you make a schedule of the things you have to do such as chores, errands, and other things. A good course to take is to create a schedule for doing certain tasks each day. For example, choose a day to do the wash, a day to do the vacuuming, a day to do the dusting, and a day for general cleaning.

So, when you create a to-do list on an app, you can even set reminders for what you need to do and keep on track. You'll find having a schedule will make things much easier.

Whether you are a freelancer and work from home or you have an office job within a company, it can be sometimes hard to remember everything that you have to do. But a to-do list app can help you stay on course and help you get everything done.

Indeed, this type of app can also help you if you own a business and have employees working for you. Having a shared checklist can also hold everyone responsible for their duties and keep them on track. This will also help your business run more smoothly.

The right app will help everyone check-in and you can set it so it can be used more than once. As duties and employees change, you can simply alter the information on the app to reflect the changes.  Having a to-do list for yourself and employees will help save time because there will be less time spent wondering what needs to be done and more time spent doing the work.

It's happened to everyone at least once. You get to your destination when you're traveling and you realize that you forgot deodorant, a brush, toothpaste or whatever. Fortunately, most of the time there is a store nearby that you can duck into and buy what you need. But what if you're camping in the middle of the woods? You're going to be out of luck. Yet, when you have a to-do list app on your phone, you don't have to worry about that anymore.

Now, whether you're going away for a night, a weekend or for two weeks, a good idea when you're traveling is to have a to-do list for packing. Simply put, when you have one of these apps on your phone, you will remember to do and bring everything from your necessary clothing items to stopping the mail.

When you are going on vacation, you have a lot on your mind but remembering everything that you need to pack and do doesn't have to be one of those things. Simply download a to-do list app on your phone and reduce your worry.

If you ask children what they hate most about going to school, homework will probably be at the top of the list. Often this is because they aren't organized and they spend a lot of time hemming and hawing about what they should do first, which wastes a lot of time. That's why having a to-do list app for their homework is a great choice.

Along with a school planner and a homework app, having the right to-do list app can help any child with their homework and studying is done in less time. It's a good idea to sit down with the homework list and maybe a weekly calendar once school has started and they know what to expect. Then download a to-do list app and schedule their homework time to reflect their strengths and weaknesses. Maybe they find math easy and science hard. The list should reflect that.

Figuring out a schedule and to-do list for homework, just like was mentioned above for cleaning, can help children feel less stressed and get more done.

As you can see, to-do lists are much more than lists of things you need to do. This kind of app can help you organize your life in many ways and reduce your stress and worry.

    • Very simple and easy to use. The file architecture and overview it gives me suits me perfectly. I run a farm and have many tasks on going (and interrupted) at the same time. Having to-do lists with so many sub folders lets me keep on top of all jobs at once. I would like to be able to move tasks between sublists if that is possible? Also perhaps a home page rather than side bar for top level of lists. Minor niggles, fine as is! A great app!

    • This app has made my job far less confusing, chaotic, and frustrating! I am an organized person naturally, and I write everything down! But notebooks make me crazy because they are hard to keep organized without a bunch of things crossed out and arrows pointing everywhere! This app allows me to write down what needs to be done, organize it by project, make priority levels, etc. It also works as a calendar to alert me when certain things are due. And I LOVE that I can mark something as complete, and it goes to the bottom so I can track my progress! And maybe the best part is that it’s online-based, so whatever I add to my list through my phone gets added to my list on my computer! So I don’t have a hundred sticky notes and scrap pieces of paper with notes written on them all over my desk. I always have my phone on me, so I can pull up the all and add stuff in a second! This is the app that I have always wanted!
