  • Good Google Play music transfer, other things to improve Jul 14, 2020

I’m super happy they finally allowed the transfer of our Google Play music playlists, but using this as my main music app is going to need a few improvements if I’m being honest. First, the app can be glitchy when loading info the current song playing, and sometimes I have to close the app fully to get it to work. Secondly, if you are going to have a feature of having lyrics built into the app, please update it to where you know any song made within the last 30-40 years at the minimum will load no matter the genre or artist, no matter how popular or not the song is (in it’s current state it feels like a beta rather than a fully released music app.) I enjoy it overall but am looking forward to improvements moving forward.

Really good layout and options for music. It makes finding new music easy and listening to your current playlist stellar, especially with the well worth subscription plan. The only thing to note is that the "Cast to TV" feature at the top is non clickable or something. Apparently I'm not the only one with this issue. I'm not sure if it's a bug or if the feature was discontinued on this app but kept in the original YouTube app only. Either way, Its definitely something I'm missing using.

Does everything you expect it to do, plus you can watch videoclips and find remixes you wouldn't find on Spotify. The only reason I don't give it five stars is because I would like more variety on "your favorites" on the main feed (I've been seeing the same 4 or 5 songs for months and I don't even listen to them that much) and the possibility to find particular songs within your likes by searching. Otherwise, pretty clean, intuitive and complete.

Yes it is true, you can use this app to listen to music, shocking. However if you move your phone while in the app, cause you have to be in app to hear the music unless you pay, the music tends to minimize and you can accidentally tap on and start playing a different song. Also the quick picks feature is neat, though it will recommend some music that I haven’t listened to in 5 months and at that I barely listened to at all, I was listening the the cure, tilted my phone and accidentally started playing lemon demon, and there isn’t a way that I know of to hop back into what you were listening to, idk make the back button for songs at the start of a queue be able to take you back to your last queue, problem solved. Also allow the option to turn off tilt controls, I cannot think of a place or time when I would be glad that they are there, cause I could just drag my finger down the screen. Plus some artists either have their discography hidden (Bob Dylan for example) or just not there (see Jimi Hendrix), why is that

I pay for adless YouTube music and it's a must because over time the ads became every other, then.. This in mind, I can find most of what I'm looking for and usually with lyrics. I'd make it possible to select multiples to add to playlists if I made improvements, and to delete in multiples. Overall however, what's here works. Since they do the magic of bringing the music, the news, fun things, history, mystery, DIYs, and individual's opinions etc., and free to me, I'm good! Thanks YouTube.
  • Neat app, but a few improvements could be useful. Mar 29, 2021

I give this four stars because it’s an amazing app, and I’ve been using it on my Lenovo / Google Home smart clock to fall asleep. As well as I like it, there are a few things that I would like to be added. For one, when I ask it to play a certain person or music company that I like, for example Waterflame, or Danimal Cannon, I want it to just play those songs. I’m tired of skipping songs to the point where I can’t even skip anything without a membership. Second of all, stop flooding your ads with membership advertisements! It’s annoying to me because imagine hearing after every single song: “Buy our membership!” And I would also like the option to not play certain songs, because after a while it plays lo-fi music or old school hip-hop, but I don’t want that to happen. Again, this is a great app, but these things are something that could be considered in the future. I look forward to using this more.
  • Missing Google play music Sep 22, 2020

In all honesty I switched over to this app with a really open mind because I figured it would work about the same as Google play music. But I've been disappointed in certain functions. I mostly listen to my music while I'm driving so the download-only feature is really important. On Google, you could toggle your downloads on and off and then sort by artist if you wanted. I've noticed on this app that if you want to listen to downloads you can either choose one individual album or you can shuffle all of your songs. This is frustrating to me. The other thing I'm not thrilled about is the really bad lag when I skip a song or two. And this is still if I'm only listening to my downloaded music so there is no reason for the app to act like it's buffering or whatever the problem is here?? I really wanted to like this app. I did. But it's got some pretty major issues and they had a long time to sort this out before making everyone switch over.

Using this app since it’s replacing google play. I don’t like that it takes forever to connect to my Bluetooth it seems to always have a lag and the music buffers in the beginning too. I never experienced this with google play. Maybe the music videos are still loading in the background even though it’s on “music only” mode. I also really dislike that my music never picks up where it left off when I’m done. I have to manually go and search for my song every time I restart my car or anytime I come back to the app really. I’ve tried not closing the app on my home screen but it didn’t make a difference. Sometimes my playlists can get long and searching for a song toward the middle is annoying. I do like that I can find any song that’s on YT on here though, sometimes google play would not offer songs YT music has offered. This app is constantly crashing for me after a year of using it now and I am not impressed by any of their updates so far
  • One “tiny” complaint Sep 24, 2020

    By •Kit Katt•
Ok, so this app is great if you just wanna listen to music, which I like to do. So I opened the app, and it asked my if I wanted to start my free trial. I said no, because I wanted to save it. Then I exited the app because I didn’t want to use it yet. So that happened yesterday, and when I went on the app today, it said my free trial was ending soon. I checked if I had Premium, and apparently I did. Why did it give me Premium? I didn’t want to use the free trial yet. When I had YT Music on my old iPad, it let me choose when I wanted to use the free trail. And the “Try Premium today” thing doesn’t have a exit button. The only thing you can do is press the button, or exit the app. Apparently both result in YT Premium now, so either it’s a glitch, or on purpose. Anyway, beside this wall of one complaint, the app is pretty good. I like how you can shuffle the playlist and it recommends you more songs. Well, have a good day.

Update: I figured I’d leave the prior review there to show how stupid I am... just don’t touch the screen so hard and those songs will move all over the place with incredible ease. I figured it out by accident.... moron moment over... love this app now more than ever... love love love Look, I love this service because it has literally every song/cover/live version etc. of everything.... however, I spend all day making these playlists that I cannot rearrange!!!!! I click edit, the equal sign (I don’t know what else to call it) appears on the left and I have to touch that thing like 87 times before I can get it just right so the stupid menu doesn’t come up instead. I HATE IT. It is literally so frustrating it makes me not even want to use the app. I’ve had to resort to deleting things that I want to be at the end of the playlist and then adding them again just to get them to where I want. Please please please fix this or make it easier or bigger or something. It’s literally a crapshoot on whether I can touch it just right so I can pull it up or down in the playlist. I can’t be the only one this annoys. That would shock me to the core....

The platform is horrible, Google music was much better. You forced us to switch to a different platform and its horrible, your artists are not in alphabetical order, it does not save your last played songs, the radio option only plays the same 10 songs over and over again. Overall YouTube music is a huge letdown compared to Google Music. At this point I would recommend Amazon and thats the worst one.
  • Inexcusably bad Nov 12, 2020

    By D. Comiskey
I don’t even know where to start with just how buggy and unusable this app and YT Music is overall. It’s not a step down from Google Play - it’s ten steps down. GP worked flawlessly, you could edit metadata (like artwork), stream through your Sonos for FREE and it has/had a simple User interface. YTM has none of that and it’s simply inexcusable. All they had to do was rebrand GPM and call it a day. Instead, we get an app that is so frustrating to use. Plug it in CarPlay and you don’t get a “most recent” screen like every, single other music app gives you. You have to manually navigate to what you want. If you want to start up where you left off before, you have to use the app on the phone and make at least 3 clicks to get to your recent album/songs. It also doesn’t remember your playback settings. If you click on “repeat” for an album, it will usually stop by the second play. If you don’t have repeat on and you’re at the last song of an album, hitting the |> button won’t take you back to the first track. Again, that is just BASIC functionality. If you want to stream your library through your Sonia system? Well, with GP it was free. Now? You have to pay for the 9.99/mo upgrade fee for YTM “Premium.” No thanks, Google. You don’t take away a free service and give us an inferior one as a replacement and have the gall to charge people for it.
  • Basic features are a failure Oct 1, 2020

    By CurtisL
I truly don't understand how this app is rated so well. It fails in the most basic of ways, making using it a continually frustrating experience. When viewing Library by Artist, instead of showing the Albums by that artist like every music app ever, including Google Play Music, it just lists all the songs by that artist. "YT Music" and "Uploads" are separated when. Looking at your library, so you have to look in two different places to see all the content from a single artist. Loop preference does not persist between queues, so when you start a new album or playlist, if you want it to loop, you have to select that EACH TIME. You can view Downloads just fine if you have service, but if you're in a low service area, the app will just sit at a loading screen forever, blocking access to everything, unless you turn on airplane mode. It's a mess. The only marginal improvement on Google Play Music has been consistent album art when in offline mode (it'd just disappear in GPM for some reason). This app needs SO MUCH WORK and seems to have been designed by a team that has never worked on this type of app before, or simply doesn't get UX at all. Being forced to replace GPM with this is incredibly frustrating.

This is a terrible app if your looking for a good, free music player. Without premium, it's worse than Spotify or Pandora or any other competing music streaming platform. Ads seem to come up after every single song, ads that are as long as minutes if your not there to skip them. Also, unlike an average music streaming platform, you can't turn your phone off or exit the app while listening. You might as well use the normal YouTube app, where you can do the same and so much more. Just a cash grab.

I use yt music for a long time. But last month it started recommending songs and playlist in languages which is do not listen.it didn't recommend Tamil playlist which I hear. So I tried signing up with a new Google account it asked me to select language and artist. Even after signing in with new account and selected Tamil language it didn't recommend a single Tamil playlist.

This app is frustratingly awful, especially when compared against Google Play. Freezes, crashes, annoyingly slow, no tangible help. Have an entire catalog of songs that I have purchased that this app will not allow me to organize and play easily. The fact that we were all forced to convert to this platform, and a year later the kinks are STILL not resolved, I find completely unacceptable. Simply searching for an app that plays a music library & streaming service crash free. Too much too ask?

I have youtube premium, yet I have this small complaint. When you hit the like button, you get a bubble at the bottom of the screen saying ' added to like'. This bubble stays for 10 secs on the screen and you cannot press any other button on the screen.... Let's say you wanna check the next song in 'up next' or 'related' You can't do that :(
  • Poor substitute Mar 13, 2021

    By NathanFilz
The company offered free music storage to its users, in exchange users agreed to allow Google to use the music they uploaded to build their music library. Google took note of similar artists a user might listen to and built their recommendation engine off of that data. They acquired competitors solely to put them out of business and eliminate the competition. They stifled innovation at every turn, and users kept quiet because they still felt the relationship was mutually beneficial. But as soon as Google had milked as much date from the users libraries as they could, they eliminated the service, and in its place coughed up this garbage that in no way is an equal substitute for what they killed. Now if you want to listen to your music that you spent years cultivating and curating, you either need to pay up $150 a year, or listen to an advertisement after every single song, with no ability to cache music for offline play. Are you an advertising business ? A music streaming company? A phone manufacturer? You can’t be all of the above and still prioritize the best interest of the customer.

My downloaded music won't play without signal - which kind of defeats the purpose of having it download. Music lags when the phone is unlocked, whether it's downloaded or not, some music just never plays at all and the shuffle is awful - only shuffles the last 20+ songs recently added to the playlist unless you press "shuffle all" at the top of the playlist. Please sort it out. For £9.99 a month, the service should be much better!
  • Google needs to do some work if so many people are paying for this app Jul 26, 2021

    By dantee925
The only thing good about this app now is that you’re able to download your songs. I work in areas with little to no reception a lot of times and having downloaded music really makes the difference. The app has a lot of issues though. My main complaint and most annoying thing is when you search for an artist or song it will start playing songs normally, but comes 4 or 5 songs in it just plays the same song over and over and over or just goes into a loop of the same songs, does not matter if it’s a playlist or an album or just a random search. It will display different song names and album arts on songs that have nothing to do with what you are listening to. No matter what type of music you select it will automatically choose the same artists and songs for every search every time and it drives me crazy. I feel this app just is not worth the subscription price. 3.99 is top price for what it’s worth.

Excellent app! Very expansive library. Very user friendly search options and great way to categorize and catalog favorite music genres. **Update** I still love the app but for some reason YouTube decided to combine my liked music with videos I like on YouTube Premium. It really hampers my music enjoyment. While at work and while relaxing at home, like to shuffle and play the songs I love but now there's video interruptions. Please, please reconsider this!
  • Start from radio Sep 12, 2021

    By Salem Kane
I really appreciate the app a lot, i just wish the “start from radio” would play songs more related to the theme and the sound of the song you started it with, or maybe that could be a separate feature, overall the song recommendation are good at showing me new things. Don’t get rid of how the radio functions its still nice and convenient, but maybe a new feature that allows you to start the radio based around the same theme and mood as the started song and not just same genre. I don’t know how making apps work. So if it’s more complicated to change or add in it’s totally fine, I appreciate the work that has gone into the app.

This is a great app, has the absolute biggest library(YouTube), option for video and all of this is just the early access version! Very excited to see what the future updates bring with them. Few complaints are: Remove the swipe to delete from playlists, or make it harder to trigger, like requiring a double swipe. This was an issue in GPM, still an issue here. Also add shuffle and repeat buttons on the play screen and the ability to add whole albums to playlists. Other than that, keep up the good work and keep expanding the official library, as it’s missing big albums like Stoney by post Malone and 4 your eyes only by J Cole and so on.

I would be lost with out You Tube Music nothing better out there and it’s affordable .

Been using YT Music for about a month now and I’m pleased 100% so far! The My Mixtape section is great; I’ve had it play several songs that I love but hadn’t listened to in a while (oh the nostalgia). There are only a few glitches like how the app responds sometimes but not anything irritating to me in the least (some slow response times that last half a second). I know they are still working some bugs and kinks out, but I’ve yet to have the app crash on me since I’ve been using it. It’s my #1 go-to when listening to music on my phone whether I’m at home or driving. Can’t wait to see what new additions we get in the future!

By far thee best music app ever! It’s worth the money which isn’t a lot ! It brings me music joy, music happiness, I have so many playlists! It’s so easy to look up a song, even with a few words typed in ! There’s NO ADS what a EXTRA BONUS! 😊💞🎶🎵🎙🎼🎤 ! It’s so easy to navigate . You tube music has gotten me my neighbors through the pandemic 😷! I love that it has family sharing too ! I’ve tried a lot of the other apps… there’s nothing like You Tube music 🎶! All day long I listen in my truck , my home , fishing, walking etc… ( definitely use my JBL wireless speakers) Thank you, You Tube Music 🎶 for restoring my sanity! Highly recommended! 💯🎶🎵🎼🎙💞💯😊

  • Content winner, though lacking some polish and features Feb 9, 2018

    By Caster Shell
Hands down, the most music of any service. If it's a song that was recorded by humans it's probably in here. And will at some point come across your station. End of the day that's what matters most to me for a music service. Exposure to content. That said, the app is missing a few minor convenience features present in other similar services. My biggest peeve, no Windows PC music only mode. I listen to music a lot at work and would prefer not to eat bandwidth for videos I'm not watching. While in power the app has no option to keep the screen on meaning I have to unlock my phone to thumb a song down while driving. And the most minor, no way to thumb down a song that's not currently playing, gotta stop playing the current track, start playing the other one, then thumb it down. Also, why no access to comments?
  • App is good, but far from perfect Jul 15, 2021

    By Jarod SJ
At times when you start the app or an individual song in a playlist, it will either A) load an incomplete version of your playlist or B) load the audio from one song and display the cover art and name of another. If a playlist long enough and you choose a song far back enough in said playlist, the app just won’t bother to load the entire playlist into your queue. You can get around this by initially selecting a song further into the playlist and then going back in you queue. Sometimes you’ll see the name and cover art of the song you intended to listen to, but hear the actual audio from a completely different song. Once again, this can be fixed by going to a different part of the queue and going back to the song you originally meant to listen to.

This is great. I suffered with Spotify before but now I don't. I am a YouTube Premium subscriber. Now that that's taken care of: This app is beatiful. Absolutely gorgeous. When you play different songs the color of the app changes as well. The notification bar looks nice as well. Featurewise, it has everything. You can choose what songs you want to play and skip as many as you want without having to pay. Everyone, switch to YT Music from Spotify, you won't regret it. It has everything and more.
  • Love it.. except Feb 9, 2021

    By Christian369
Love everything about this app... except I’ve not been able to create a “new play list”, since I’ve had this account. Ever time I try, it says, “there was a problem with the server [400]“. I’ve updated regularly, and have asked You Tube for a resolution more than once. NO ONE EVERY REPLIES !! I’d also like to be able to go back to the exact “app generated” playlist that I’ve been listening to for the past few days, after trying a different lineup. If I search for something new or tap on another song outside of the present list that I’ve been listening to. I can never return to the exact same lineup. Even if I go to “history”. The app always generates a different lineup of songs that’s compromised of some of the songs I’ve been listening to, but not the exact list.
  • Queue/Songs no longer available Jul 15, 2021

    By Zach5278833652
The add to queue doesn’t seem to work properly or maybe how you would think it would work. It seems like if you start playing a playlist, and you queue a song it goes to the very end of when the entire playlist is played. I would have thought it would queue the songs to play next. You could do this by adding multiple songs with the “play next” option, but then you need to know the reverse order you want the songs to play. Also there is no swipe control to queue songs. I’m not entirely sure what is going on, but occasionally songs in my playlist become unavailable. It doesn’t make sense because you can go look up the same song and find it available in search. What is causing this?

This is a good app yes but I would love if I could just listen to music in the background of playing games or reading, I don’t mind ads but if people should download this app it’s probably because they want to listen to any of there favorite songs on here while doing something they shouldn’t have to get a preview or buy a membership just to listen to music in the background they should automatically have it as soon as they get it. I understand if you use the money to help the app but maybe change the listen to music in the background to no unlimited skips but like I said in the beginning it’s a good app it really is I like that I could listen to songs I can’t play on other apps but yeah great app just that’s what I feel like should change. :)
  • You can listen to music with this Aug 13, 2021

    By delta airport
Plus some artists either have their discography hidden (Bob Dylan for example) or just not there (see Jimi Hendrix), why is that
  • Missing Google play music Sep 22, 2020

    By westopher718
  • This app is below average Sep 6, 2021

    By grizzlemynizzle
  • Good app. One Dealbreaker Flaw Aug 24, 2021

    By Electromagnet83
This app is pretty cool. It has a ton of music, videos, playlist, etc. I was even impressed at the fact that if you play an album such as Pink Floyd for example there is no to second pause between the songs. Everything flows from one to the next as it should. What drives me absolutely crazy about this app however is that on any artist, playlist, or song that you start with clicking shuffle is not really shuffling in random order.I put on a huge playlist for workouts and click shuffle, however I quickly realized that it shuffles in the same preset orderEvery time. If I click shuffle 20 times today and two days from now click shuffle 20 times again on the same playlist it will be the same exact first song, second song, third song etc. My understanding is that this has been a complaint for years and has not been fixed. It’s enough for me to quit premium service.
  • Great app but needs improvement Aug 5, 2021

    By Raise sell prices
I love this app. I have a premium membership I’ve been paying for one for a long time. I love the platform so I don’t mind paying a couple extra bucks a month to use the premium benefits of this app. There are a few issues though. If I run out of premium you guys absolutely flood me with ads way more then you need to which aggravates me a little bit and also ever since this new update the app has been crashing left and right and I’ll be listening to a playlist and you won’t be able to view half the songs in the playlist. Before the update the app was fine but after it kinda got messed up. All this app needs is a few bugs repaired and then it will be fine otherwise I love this app. Also it would be smart for you guys to keep political ads off of your website too because I know that people don’t want to see that regardless of where they stand on the political spectrum.

I think having to download songs manually is total B.S., all songs on your playlists should be downloaded automatically not just the ones you have to go threw and hit the "Like" button, if I didn't like the damn song, it wouldn't be on my playlist, ya think? Other than that, maybe a good quality E.Q. Bluetooth app to get better sound quality to my car reciever would help!

it could be better the “my mixtape” is just music that i went out of my way to find it music i have in my likes or downloads rarely is there new music in there that i haven't heard, along with that if my mixtape is supposed to be songs that i like and etc then don’t play different music at different times, in the morning it plays different music than in the afternoon and night which is okay but i like to hear everything and my morning music is the same as my night time and my afternoon music. Along with the play more music for me, if the new discover playlist or whatever it’s called is supposed to help me find new music it would be nice to make it more accurate I've never liked a song that played in that playlist and it’s not even the type of music i listen to and i’ll listen to anything. also it needs to be updated all the time not every Wednesday.
  • Why Did You Remove The Feature That Allowed Us To Find Remixes From The “More” Button? Jun 2, 2018

    By IStoppingPowerI
(Updated On Exp) Starting to love this new look actually. I can see the songs I enjoy replaying come up well at the top section. What was great before was tapping a track that I’ll enjoy, and wondering - what would some remixes/covered/related tracks sound like. The older “more” button or what the current “i”/“Information” button had previously done this. It was awesome! I was hooked. I could find so many great songs from other artists/DJs and so on by finding a great hit, then tapping those buttons. Now those features aren’t to be found. I don’t feel confident paying because I can get the same great hits/music from streaming services that I’ve never tried before. I was a student for all the time I’ve used it (1.5 years) as well - so I really do love the app! It’s harsh pressing the info button and seeing nothing.
  • Meh Aug 13, 2020

    By furhdab
I love the amount of music available! I came from google play music so this was great! My quips though and I hope these are changes that come along: my library doesn’t give me the ability to choose a letter and then get taken to that area, I literally have to scroll to let’s say the H’s... which wouldn’t be bad if I didn’t have over 3000 songs in my library. You can’t change the song when your phone is locked, you have to go into the app to do that and pause it. Also when you go to an artist’s page and click a song by them, it doesn’t just play their next top song it goes to a different artist that is similar and starts playing a song by them. And every time I remove a song from my que, the app forces you back to the top of the list and then you have to scroll back down to where you were.
  • I’m disappointed Apr 9, 2021

    By Tiny-Dez
I’m very disappointed because this was going to be my favorite music app. I was going to delete all of my other ones but something happened (I guess it upgraded on its own or something) and deleted all of my downloads and said that if I want to download in music I have to have a premium subscription. I will go to listen to my music and then I want to listen to it while my phones not completely onward just like a black screen or ask out of that app and go to a different app I’m still listening music but it won’t let me anymore. It was great up until the part where I can no longer listen to anything unless I’m on the app. This app is great if you want to listen to it for a couple of weeks and then have to pay for it but other than that I would not recommend!

Casting isn't working properly. I'm a premium member so would expect even the most basic functions to be available but I can no longer cast to all but one of my other devices. Only got premium in order to be able to use all the functions Google Play Music used to have. GPM still a far superior app to YTM even this much further down the line.
  • Very frustrating app if you're coming from google play Dec 29, 2020

    By julzzzzzzjo
They don't have as many clean versions of songs. Google play music had two versions of albums for many albums. Also you can play your downloaded songs only. Now you have to have Wi-Fi to get to the downloaded songs. It will eventually load but not easily without Wi-Fi which defeats the purpose. Also it does not keep track of where you were. I have to start at the beginning of my playlist and push shuffle every time and it always starts with the same few songs. So it's not random like it should be and then I have to restart it so I'm listening to the same songs over and over and over and that means on a playlist with 1100 songs. Editing playlists is very difficult as well. If I click thumbs down google play music would remove it from the playlist. Not this one. Many other issues. Weird we were forced to this app.

Alot of the recommended stations are just some main stream popular artist I never listen too. Let me add my own playlist or artist to my main menue play lists. Let me add or move wdgests around. And for crying out loud all the playlist have the same songs... Like if I click on a dubstep song or something why put something non related to dubstep there? Same with Nightcore or electro music.. let me make my experience with this app better by allowing me to change and move things around. I don't even scroll down because it's all garbage that I'll never click on. It's so sad that this app just get worse and worse. Now you added that song video thing when the old one worked perfectly fine. Now It randomly switches to video even if I selected song. I had a grate experience with this app for like 3 years but it's just getting worse and worse over that time

I don’t understand why we can add full albums to our library, but we can’t delete individual songs from albums within the library. That makes no sense at all. I don’t always like full albums and deleting songs is much easier than skipping them every time they play. Also the alphabet off to the side in the library would be helpful when searching for songs. And why don’t we have the option to put songs by artists in alphabetical order when we click their name in our library? Maybe everyone doesn’t want songs in order by album. I love the amount of music on the app and how organized things are, but these are major issues that are turn offs. If it weren’t for the fact that I can get a lot of music on this app that isn’t available elsewhere I would’ve been cancelled my subscription. Please fix this ASAP.
  • Downloads are a pain Jan 27, 2021

    By RettopMK
A decent app for music if you live and work in an area with good signal. I rely on downloads and the download feature in this is a mess. Switching from one phone to another isn’t as seamless as it should be and you have to go and download each song individually as it come across your playlist. Can get time consuming and irritating. There is no way to download your entire music library at once. Only “liked” songs and playlists. And even then my liked songs won’t download at once. It gets stuck and the majority of the songs are left waiting to download. Checked all my WiFi settings and allowed space and it’s fine. Apple Music and google play music were the better apps by far. I have had this app on a Note 10 and now an iPhone 11 Pro and it’s the same issue across the different systems and slightly worse for apple.
  • Just falls short Nov 3, 2020

This app has a lot of potential and I’m not sure who decided to have it work the way it does but very simple things this app doesn’t offer is holding it back so much. For instance if I click add song to queue it makes so much more sense to add said song to a new list that starts after the current song playing not at the end of the shuffled playlist which can have hundreds of songs in it. Adding to a queue means you want to listen to it next or at the least soon. And why for the love of god is it almost the end of 2020 and this app doesn’t support the ability to remember the shuffle and replay settings when you come back to the app. I mean such simple things like this are littered through the app and are holding what has potential to be the best music streaming app back from the top. TL:DR Fire whoever your app dev is cause they are trash.

Problems with this app include: A ui that can't load without internet access. It takes forever to load your local device library. It emptied my playlists when transfered. It has an awful user interface. Thinks AMVs count as part of my liked music. Won't allow playlists that include both local and youtube songs.

I downloaded it to run in the background while I did other things. And after like 2 songs it quits and is like oh, you're offline......no I'm not. It is ridiculous and beyond infuriating. Suggest fixing. I'm going back to my Samsung music app. Yeah I have to download stuff but atleast it actually continues playing
