Nov 7, 2021 By Joe RobertsonI've only been with Yolla a short time and I'm not impressed with them. I topped-up with 4 Dollars to start with and paid my top-up via my Debit Card. I switched off the recurring top-up service so that I could decide if I wanted to continue with their phone service. However, unknown to me, my credit was running low during a phone call, I was topped-up by Yolla for 8 Dollars, I never requested a top-up - if I did - it would've only been for 4 Dollars - not 8 Dollars! more -

Unfortunately, when I pressed the number, nothing happened. It seems that the app has limitations as once the call is connected, the dial-up stops working. I kept pressing "1" to speak to a department but it wouldn't go through and I wasted my money buying credits for the call. more -
GARBAGE APP

It was not my first time using the app. But I ended up being charged $300 by my service provider for an international call I placed in Yola app. I called Yola, they were so rude and they blamed my service provider and my WiFi connection on the charges. I checked my bank account, Yola did charge me for the call on top of the charges I paid my service provider. I still have a $8 credit on my Yola and I still have to figure out how to get my money back. I am so disappointed and I feel ROBBED! PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DONT USE THIS APP. This is the worst app I have ever used. I would have used WhatsApp but network in the country I called was not great that day. more -

Authentication Required - Unable to log in to add credit

When contacted the Support, i was advised there’s a fee going through Apple. The support person stated i should top up at their site to avoid the extra fee. Well i tried & the site won’t allowed me stated ‘Authentication Required’. That was three days ago & the support still telling me they trying to resolve the issue! How reliable! I’m very unhappy with the support as how can it take that long still unable to resolve the situation? Don't they know they are losing money? Very frustrating! more -

The second time is used the app the calls it wouldn’t allow me to make calls. I switched off the recurring top-up service so that I could decide if I wanted to continue with their phone service. However, unknown to me, my credit was running low during a phone call, I was topped-up by Yolla for 8 Dollars, I never requested a top-up - if I did - it would've only been for 4 Dollars - not 8 Dollars! more -

It was not my first time using the app. But I ended up being charged $300 by my service provider for an international call I placed in Yola app. I called Yola, they were so rude and they blamed my service provider and my WiFi connection on the charges. I checked my bank account, Yola did charge me for the call on top of the charges I paid my service provider. I still have a $8 credit on my Yola and I still have to figure out how to get my money back. I am so disappointed and I feel ROBBED! PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DONT USE THIS APP. This is the worst app I have ever used. I would have used WhatsApp but network in the country I called was not great that day. more -

Authentication Required - Unable to log in to add credit

When contacted the Support, i was advised there’s a fee going through Apple. The support person stated i should top up at their site to avoid the extra fee. Well i tried & the site won’t allowed me stated ‘Authentication Required’. That was three days ago & the support still telling me they trying to resolve the issue! How reliable! I’m very unhappy with the support as how can it take that long still unable to resolve the situation? Don't they know they are losing money? Very frustrating! more -

When I called them they would receive the calls in different ID callers , different numbers and not in my name. They would also sometimes receive the call in their whatsapp instead of their mobile network. I tired contacting the technical support online. I spoke to Donna from the support team. The only response I would get was : “we are investigating the issue” or “ the issue is solved “ and it never was. 2 . A friend of mine received a phone call from my number with me name but it wasn’t me.I contacted the service support again but they told me I needed to display their phone number. more

What’s Subpar
Used to be best International call App by far in my personal point of view,but for a very long time now,it endlessly discriminates amongst certain numbers. You just can't make a call to them. It keeps saying, " Call has ended," immediately after you press the call button to those numbers. Moreover,now I can't even make a single phone call without wifi. It doesn't connect with my mobile internet data. "Can't connect to server,check your internet,"it forever keeps saying. Never use it again. Awful
