Getting trapped in their mistake
Jul 28, 2020 I had signed up for this app and followed what seemed to be a really simple process; putting in your information, validating that information and then linking a bank account and transferring money. Little did I know that I had just entered the biggest bug this app has, APPARENTLY in that work flow before I linked a bank account and transferred money there was one last validation step. I was apparently supposed to receive an e mail to submit paperwork to valid my investor status (even when this happened the “link” didn’t even take me to an active page it just endlessly loaded) so because none of this happened my money was now stuck in limbo because I technically couldn’t keep it in the app because I wasn’t a “valid” investor, AND I had closed the original linked accountant. Additionally Yieldstreet wouldn’t let me add another new account to transfer the money out of the app even though you can add a max of three linked accounts. Needless to say they clearly have a lot of bugs to workout, and I’m still trying to get a solution.more -

Nonexistent or Unresponsive CSRs
Jul 18, 2019 I suspect the positive reviews are fake. I deposited a small amount in my account as I do with all financial institutions to test them out before I invest. There were no “investment opportunities” available. They won’t let me withdraw my money. Their customer service representatives are nonexistent. I challenge you to try to speak with or try to get any response from them before “investing.” They’re unreachable. My money is stuck earning 2.2APY which I’ll probably never see. I gave them a 2 instead of a 1 so you’ll read this and beware. Run from this don’t walk. If you want to invest you’d have better luck with that friend of yours with the “amazing business opportunity.” DON’T WALK! RUN!!!more -

Apr 17, 2019 This app is NOT working! First, it got me really panic after I transferred online $10k to my account, nothing showed up until my bank had to work with them for over a week; secondly, it seems no way to get into any good offerings, so failed the purpose of investing your money; thirdly, when I tried to close my account and transfer my balance back to my bank, nothing happened after several attempts. You should not launch this app if this is the way that you handle people’s investments. 👎(by the way, I still haveNOT received my money as of yet!) My advise is do NOT use this app!!!more

Nonexistent or Unresponsive CSRs
Jul 18, 2019 I suspect the positive reviews are fake. I deposited a small amount in my account as I do with all financial institutions to test them out before I invest. There were no “investment opportunities” available. They won’t let me withdraw my money. Their customer service representatives are nonexistent. I challenge you to try to speak with or try to get any response from them before “investing.” They’re unreachable. My money is stuck earning 2.2APY which I’ll probably never see. I gave them a 2 instead of a 1 so you’ll read this and beware. Run from this don’t walk. If you want to invest you’d have better luck with that friend of yours with the “amazing business opportunity.” DON’T WALK! RUN!!!more -
Oct 30, 2019 Cannot get past ID upload. Took like 30 different pictures at different distances, but no matter what it always says it's not good enough, despite everything being legible and inside the frame. Note: the Frame shown for picture taking is DIFFERENT than the frame they show as being submitted. If you tightly fit the ID in the frame, it'll show you a photo after that has the bottom of your ID clearly cut off and 2 inches of empty space above your ID. They need their Software Dev QA to relook thismore -

Sep 11, 2020 Doesn’t automatically integrate with some of my accounts which require manual authentication on a daily basis. Also the app no longer works at all for me on my iPhone. Crashes immediately upon launch.

I had cash in my account (not yet invested) and decided to have it returned, I've contacted customer service multiple times, getting replies that aren't relevant, like "we can't offer you banking services at this time." They took the money, but won't give it back, been over 2 weeks since they said it was supposed to be returned. **UPDATE** took over 3 weeks finally got my money back, but was short changed.more
What’s Groovy
Really like how simple the app is to use. I wish it had a functionality to show when upcoming payments are expected for fixed payment loans. Always left wondering when a check is coming in.

What’s Subpar
App works great, the only reason for the 2/5 stars is the investment platform champions itself as providing ample opportunities for the little guy/everyday working people to invest yet to date only provides one investment account for non accreted investors or basically the non-rich. Otherwise, it'd be 5/5 as the app is extremely well done.

as someone provided can't login to mobile app. logged in first time no issue, then tried using biometric, asked to establish pin, again, and then it just spins. need better QA or UAT. reinstalled the app did not select to use fingerprint option works fine. issue with the biometric login.

Will never be trusting my money with Yield Street
Easy to use interface. Simple to understand. But the only thing (and the thing that matters the most) is that I withdrew some money and never received it into my bank account. Literally been about 3 weeks now and no sight of my cash. I reached out to the support team but have received no word back. Will never be involving my money with them. I can’t trust a company that can’t simply return an email let alone my own money. -
Impossible to invest!!!
There are so few investments (like 1 in 2 months) and the investments that fo open vanish in under a second. After frustratingly missing investments for checking then 1 min late I finally put alarms for myself and clicked one the moment it became available. I was thrilled to finally enter my investment. But then too I got waitlisted. Only time I actually ended up investing was the initial investment that they open only for new members. After that it is totally useless.

Literally been about 3 weeks now and no sight of my cash. I reached out to the support team but have received no word back. Will never be involving my money with them. I can’t trust a company that can’t simply return an email let alone my own money. -
Impossible to invest!!!
There are so few investments (like 1 in 2 months) and the investments that fo open vanish in under a second. After frustratingly missing investments for checking then 1 min late I finally put alarms for myself and clicked one the moment it became available. I was thrilled to finally enter my investment. But then too I got waitlisted. Only time I actually ended up investing was the initial investment that they open only for new members. After that it is totally useless. -
the login button does not work. it doesnt do anything. checked credentials on the website, entered them into app, login button is grey and has no function

Making under 200K? Don’t even try
The platform is already a bit shoddy (no auto fills, wouldn’t allow numbers or special characters for a password, glitchy whenever you go back on during a session), but only after you create an entire account and sign up do they tell you that you have to be an accredited investor (making over 200K for the past 2 years) to use. Not worth the time.
