When you’re looking for someone to service your car, the last thing you want to do is spend $500 or more and find out they messed something up. That’s why you want to read reviews of the businesses before trusting your car with them.

Customer review websites are practically everyone's go-to for checking out businesses before using them. Yelp uses a 5 star review system and, if you're a business owner, it's probably a good idea to set yourself up with them. It'll let you promote your business as well as helping you deal with any negative feedback.

  • They keep making their bookmarks feature worse and worse May 25, 2018

Who is in charge of this design? I use the bookmarks feature extensively and it has only gotten worse. Now in order to see my bookmarks on the app, I have to select “more” from the menu at the bottom, then select “bookmarks” which doesn’t actually take you to your bookmarks but to the collections feature which is pretty useless IMO and then click “bookmarks”. Fine I’ve lived with that since the last bad update but now you have no way of seeing whether the restaurant is open or closed without having to click on the individual business. You can’t see it from the list or the map anymore at all and it makes bookmarks so much less useful on the fly. I was hoping they would add a feature to show bookmarks by “open now” like you can with the search function but instead they crippled the function even more. This is a huge step backwards

I have been a tenant of Krystals for about four months now. When I first met Krystal she was literally the kindest person I have encountered when applying for a place. She made me feel like I mattered and I wasn’t just another applicant thrown in with a pile of other applications. I felt like I actually had a chance of getting the place and I wasn’t in competition with 20 other applicants. I have been renting for many years now and normally when I apply for a unit or go see one I just don’t get that personal connection with the realtor as if they actually care about the owners or the tenants. This time I did. The application process was rather fast and easy. When she told me I was approved it was the best news ever. I reached out to Krystal and I made a request for a fence to be built in my yard. She got approval from the owner and it was done rather quickly. Paying rent is easy I just go online each month and that’s it. Krystal responds to any concerns that I have had and has just been the absolute best. She has a heart of Gold and I feel she is the missing link between landlord and tentant. Krystal makes everyone feel like that matter and attentive to both parties no matter if you are the owner or renter. I can go on and on but you will definitely see for yourself if you plan on working with this team in any aspect. Thank you all.

Website SUCKS! Mobile site will not detect location (allowed), nor will it search by zip code. Going to the map freezes the page at the bottom so you can only see a sliver of the map and you can't scroll up. No option to open the full site over the mobile site. Shameful. Thankfully, the app is MUCH better! Searches kept trying to default to San Francisco, even though my location is turned on and I have my city in my profile. It was annoying to have to change the search filter each time.

  • Mixed feelings Apr 21, 2022

I’m a professional and use Yelp for my own business and it’s good for lots of things. The lay out is good but I don’t like you have to pay to keep other businesses off your own page. I wish I could edit photos myself without having to put in a request. My main beef is when a customer writes an excellent review about me and my business Yelp will burry it in the back calling it a “not recommended” review even though I did not ask them to write it. That’s not fair! I have many 5 star reviews hidden where no one can see them and I could really use those reviews to boost my business. Also, I told Yelp that there is a fake review, someone bitterly complaining about me and hurting my reputation. The person has never been to my place of business, he is not on my books. Yet Yelp places this horrible review up near the top of my page for all to see and it’s hurting my business. Meanwhile Yelp hides the best most legitimate reviews in the back. Business is slow right now…I wonder when people see that fake horrible review they move on to some other business. I bet they do!! I have been an excellent Yelp customer for many years but starting to not like it as much anymore.

Latest update breaks location integration on Galaxy S8. Requests location permission and when you grant it you get a message that location is off, even though it is not and never is. Double checked to be sure and location was/is on. Have to enter location manually. Not the end of the world but still inconvenient. You need to test better and certainly include all the most popular devices.
  • Road tripping necessity. Great local tips Mar 14, 2022

    By InnerEnd
Using Yelp when we travel opens up a world of fantastic meals, always local spots that we would never have found passing through town on the highway. We turn to it for trip planning, and also browse it locally, looking for gems in our city. We live on the East Coast, and primarily travel between NY and North Carolina. The only recent trip where Yelp wasn’t helpful was to Oklahoma- I think it must just not be as popular out there, and there weren’t enough reviews to give useful guidance. Only complaint, really, is the layout of the page. Each listing is too busy, visually, with too much text. The way that paid ads come up looking like reviews for the place I’m trying to research is really irritating. Still, one of my most used apps.

The staff here are SO attentive and friendly! We came here for a family dinner and they immediately remembered my partner and chatted with us just enough for us to feel welcome and at home but not enough to hinder our dining experience. Maritza started our dinner with the most amazing chocolate dessert filled with cream, on the house. I still can’t believe it was vegan! They had sold out of a few items already but we still had a nice selection to choose from. Our food came pretty quickly and was sooooo delicious! Chicken & waffles, Turkey burger, breakfast burrito, wings, and the quinoa salad. As I ate my Turkey burger I said, “If this is vegan bread it’s going to blow my mind”…..it was vegan. It was the most delicious, and moist bread I’ve ever tasted. And the COFFEE!!! The. Best. Ever!! Truly. No bite or after taste. Organic, Mayorgan beans. Check this place out!!! You will not be disappointed.

Just a shout out to PODS moving and storage. The experience was amazing from beginning to end. It was our first time using this type of movers, but they were right on, from drop off ,to load, pick up to transfer out of state, and then deliver to new home. Always were there when they said they would be. Let’s us know the night before of the estimated window time, then driver called with ETA when he was about an hour away. Both times ,they were right on time. The drivers that dropped them were very knowledgeable and helpful, and an extra big thank you to Justin W. The final driver, for being courteous and careful when placing the POD exactly where we needed it on the driveway. Sorry I didn’t get the first drivers name, to mention him as well. Yelp is a tremendous help for people who need to find their way around town. Reviews can also change though in a heartbeat when there is a new owner, chef, assistant, hairstylist, etc. If it’s the same cast, there may be consistency but you have to keep in mind that there could have been a recent life change to your favorite person or company too with a milestone event occurrence (ie. Got married, had baby, went to school, someone died, partied the night before, medication after effects) and it impacted their mentality to operate normally. That’s the risk you take but generally it’s a wonderful resource to pinpoint the best place to eat, drink, and be merry with an oil change and:or get those fancy nails done…the whole shabang!!! Enjoy but please don’t take me word for word on my review.

It's really annoying that you can't read reviews without the app. I finally gave in and downloaded it, but you can't use it without giving it location access, sure it will be a good experience if it can tell you what's nearby, but it's not necessary to force me to turn that on when I usually just search for specific businesses. I'm uninstalling and will continue using other review sites that aren't as invasive.

Service was extra slow…the waitress didn’t check on us but when she came to take our order and brought our food she thanked us for our patience. Our pina colada come in a cracked glass. 🥲. We waited 40 minutes before our waitress took our drink order. A group of 5 arrived after us and received their drinks and food before we even received our water. Our food came 30 minutes after we ordered it. I ordered crab cakes with cole slaw , which I would have missed the cole slaw if I didn’t look for it. 😩crab cakes were super small but they were appetizer size. Plus they sat for a while bc they were luke warm. My daughter’s pasta Alfredo was good but also sat for a while before our waitress brought it to us since it had a film over it from sitting for a while after it had been plated. We asked if they would comp us one dessert, brownie w/ice cream bc of the wait and serving us a drink in a cracked glass. The waitress said she had to talk to the manager. She came back and said the manager said he would comp the bread pudding or lava cake. We opted for the lava cake which was okay. All in all, service is horrible. I do t know if it’s due to staffing or not. Our waitress seemed to have only a few tables. Per other reviews, read after the fact, it’s the manager’s fault. This is probably true, management has a responsibility for ensuring the restaurant runs smoothly. BTW-I don’t normally write negative reviews but thought it owed it to fellow yelpers. 🙏🏼💞

If you go to a business and have a horrible experience they will delete your review saying you violated community guidelines. I’ve read the community guidelines multiple times and no where in there did it say my review was in violation. So, I changed the review around about 5 different times and they still deleted it every time. Same thing goes for good reviews, I have told my good review was deleted because I wasn’t a real customer?? They have business owners pay them to delete bad reviews. They also blackmail businesses into it. They will put bad reviews up front, and good reviews in back to extort business owners into paying them to switch it. They allow businesses to write fake reviews about themselves as well. Yelp didn’t start this way and it’s disgusting and sad that it has become this way. It’s literally the most worthless review app ever. I’m sure somehow this review will be deleted as well…. Don’t even bother using it to get real reviews of businesses. Edit: No…no you do not. I asked what the violation was and you just said it violated community guidelines. It did not and you did not tell me any specifics. More and more people are seeing through your company. I know you have lost a lot of traffic because I know I don’t use Yelp anymore, and neither does anyone I know. Shady business practices eventually catch up to you. Karma.

I wish there is an app that allows people to review individual dish. this way I know exactly what to order when I walk into a restaurant. and it also teach restaurant owner which dishes selling the best, which one should just get rid of from the menu. so stupid that review mostly on the decor or services. I want to know what food is great. if Service suck, no tip. simple. is not complicated. food makes you sick. say it on the dish that makes you sick. really please update the app.

This app , is is so frustrating. I can never find what I I'm looking for. And when I do it takes forever . Usually involving Multiple searches under multiple categories. It doesn't matter if you type in the direct name of the business. It will just pull up a bunch of other random business that have nothing to do with what you're looking for. This app only works sometimes rest of the time as it has an error message that pops up. Finally had enough and uninstalled the app for good!
  • Do not download this app Mar 26, 2022

The reviews are filtered by the workers of Yelp in an attempt to bribe the business owners into paying for advertising. There is no way to really know if a business is good or not through this site as it has also been found numerous times that workers of Yelp have even posted reviews. I am a licensed esthetician and they will try to charge you $1000 a month for their “advertising” on their site but the demographics they show you that will see your ads isn’t at all accurate and you NEVER will bring enough clientele in from their ads to make their prices worth it. The second you deny their advertising because the numbers don’t match up their professional mentality turns into a bully mentality and multiple bad reviews will show up on your business page- a page you cannot take down and didn’t ask to be put up. As you read through their reviews you will see this is persistent, you can also watch the documentary billion dollar bully to get a further in depth understanding of the scam they have running. Do yourself a favor and never trust a review coming from Yelp, never download the app just to read the reviews of a business because that makes no sense, and never pay for advertising through this company. Cancel Yelp.
  • Didn’t get our food on time. Apr 26, 2022

    By cootie butt
So we ordered food last night. They assured us that even those it was closing we’d get the food delivered we ordered. Now mind you we live only .5 miles from them. Less then a 2 minute drive. So short story no food came. So we had to go out to eat pizza cause everything thing was closed by then. So sitting here at home tonight the next night and what happens? A knock at the door! And it’s my food I ordered the night before now it’s 9:02 pm alittle to late. So I called the manager told him everything and he says if you don’t want the food then just bring it back to him! Now we all know they can’t sell it to anyone else. And the driver was like I’ll take it back and he said I’m gonna eat the cookie. Just amazing how special people can be! I used to run a pizza place anytime food was late I’d apologize and tell the people to keep the food. But we never where a day late! Guess the employees must be hungry they can eat it since we’ve already eaten since we placed our order last night. Glad we have food to cook in this house and money do go out last night cause waiting over 24 hrs to eat what you ordered could make you hungry! 😂

Horrible. I used to use yelp almost exclusively. Now it seems useless. it cant see the restaurant right across the street. And when I search specifically for it, it finds it, but puts the address on the map a half a mile away. When you follow the mapped address over to google maps, it carries over the map location, but has a completely different street number address. Totally useless. Goodbye.

I urge you to close this company l, BBB, please make consumers aware of this horrible company. I made an appointment for 6 family members approximately one month prior to departing overseas. I made it for May, 16, 2022, at 8:00 am, few hours prior to our departure. We arrived there on time only to find out that no tests were available at the MCO location, Orlando, Florida and they blamed it all on their headquarters. To make the story short we scrambled to find a new place to get tested, otherwise we would miss our plane. Got that done and went home to finish packing, I sent an e-mail and called their hq that day, they asked for cc and bank statements and special form to be filled out, I did that day and sent it to them، I received a reply stating it will take 10-20 business days for refund, I waited and didn’t get one, despite my repeated e-mails to them and even sent their founder mail message on LinkedIn and told them if I don’t hear anything, they will hear from my lawyer and they totally ignored me. I have copies of all correspondence, they are the worst company I have dealt with in my 40 year career in customer service. Beware. SamehJ

Over the past few years this app has continuously got less and less useful. Even though there is still a setting to post reviews to Facebook, it has not existed for years. Eith recent changes it appears to limit business searches to about 5 miles or so with no way to change in the settings. Before, you would get 20 per screen with a button for "Next 20" at the bottom for "Next 20". If there was a limit, we never reached it. Made it a useful tool for finding restaurants to try. Mostly useless now

  • Dr. Karen, Amy and Jen are THE BEST May 27, 2022

    By Macarena Mini Yorkie :)
Amy, Jen and Dr. Karen are very kind and extremely professional. It was after midnight and they all had a smile on their face, a great attitude and they made us feel safe and confident that they would take care of our baby. And they did take care of our baby. They are a great team and they all made possible to save my baby’s life. They took lot’s of pain off her and literally saved her life. I am and forever will be grateful for Dr. Atkinson’s gifted hands. Amy was watching my baby closely. Thank you all for your expertise and acts of service and generosity. We appreciate you and all you do. Amy was very patient and sweet and made sure we all were doing good. I only received kindness and sympathy from all of them. Dr. called me as soon as my baby woke up from surgery, very nice and thoughtful. Jen sent me a photo of my baby when she woke up from surgery and gave me lots of emotional support when I got there all worried. I forgot to ask something when I picked my baby up and I sent an email when I got home. It was probably after hours and Amy still replied to my email immediately. I’m very grateful and appreciative of them and could not recommend them more. They all are great! They are my baby’s heroes. :)
  • Horrible customer service! May 20, 2018

    By Rub415
Came in to eat after looking forward to eating some pupusas. Walked in lady told us to sit down anywhere. Sat down in the back. Waited about 10 minutes until I decided to grab my own menu for my wife and I. Nobody acknowledged us at all as we sat there for another 10-15 minutes. Another elderly couple walked in and sat down. The lady up front immediately brought them a menu. Decided after waiting almost 20 minutes without anyone coming to wait on us that this was not going to be a pleasant experience if we stayed. Love the pupusas but their customer service is horrible always. Even when ordering on the phone, they take forever and I always end up waiting forever. Save yourself time and go to el santaneco. El zocalo needs to work on customer service skills!

We enjoyed an amazing week at this authentic ranch. Each day Marge, manager and key to whole operations, would check in and make sure we were signed up for our horse rides and tours. We are honored to call her our friend. The all inclusive package is exactly what it boasts and beyond. The wranglers were experienced and patient making each ride special. Our Guide into Yellowstone,Barny, was extremely knowledgeable and entertaining. We saw the whole lower loop in one day. Buffaloes and elk , the thermals and waterfalls were breathtaking. Our cabin, Yellowstone, was cozy and had plenty of space inside and out on the huge porch. The chef and staff satisfied our every need with good food and service also very entertaining. Thank you Gary!!! We look forward to returning!!! Best trip ever !!

  • Must Have App! Jun 19, 2021

    By Kimmy G-lover
Funny, until I just had a pop-up, it never occurred to me to rate Yelp 🤣 Anyway, this has to be one of the most used apps on my phone! I travel a LOT and Yelp saves me from everything from last resort mediocre take-out food, to wardrobe malfunctions and “where the heck can I find an ‘x’ at this hour” emergencies. Regardless of the number of reviews or stars a place has, I always read the reviews with one or two stars to see if the issues raised are really relevant, or just a posting by someone with unrealistic expectations, which is unfortunately frequent. I’ve found some true gems in my travels, and validated the low ratings of a few I dared to try despite them, but that’s all part of the adventure, right?
  • They keep making their bookmarks feature worse and worse May 25, 2018

    By CaliPharoah

I have had the pleasure of using Yelp for a very longtime now, mostly for dining, and or restaurant suggestions or reviews prior to dining. I am now finding that I have started looking for help and suggestion or reviews for many other services as of late. One small challenge when trying to find this information, is there needs to be a specific heading for Odd, or Miscellaneous Services, unless I just missed it. I had no problem finding plumbing, or electricians, and this sort of thing, but spent sometime trying to find niche services, such as Solar removal, as opposed to Solar Installation. Again I suppose this is not exactly what Yelp originally specializes in, but I believe I’m not the only one checking your site for this sort of help, thanks sincerely Vinnie S P.S. Job well done too ... thanks

  • Not bad but... Jul 27, 2020

    By dissapointed and iritated!
I used to love this app. It did everything you could want for searching for reviews for almost anything. Well they keep changing the algorithm and it's getting annoying. Now when u search by distance it's not automatically set to closest to farthest. When u put that in, it still gives u somewhat random distances. Then it doesn't load all the closest first so u have to keep looking a couple of times to get places that u know are close but didn't come up the first time. Also the search by rating is the same way. You search and the ratings aren't all in order from most to least. They still throw some 3 star reviews when your still in the midst of 5 star reviews. I swear they're giving people preferential treatment based on ad revenue or something. It's really annoying and wish they would go back to the way it was a long time ago.
  • Yelp App Review Apr 16, 2022

    By fraustypawz
Is it possible to delete old reviews? I created a new review and tapped post. Ok, but that was a brand new one. Then, I saw one from years ago that I wanted to delete. So, without the option of rewriting over, can you also give us the straight out option of deleting *old* reviews too? I like reading reviews for restaurants but it's getting harder to read these. Fonts seem to get smaller and sometimes they'll put them in a light gray on white background. It would be nice if app developer would allow us old timers on old devices to be able to pinch to enlarge. I haven't done much to my settings lately so there still are many sites that will allow this function. Many other sites still use a decent font size so no complaints there and I didn't even have to try to pinch to enlarge because it was easy enough to read.

I’ve used Yelp off and on over the years. It’s helpful mostly- but at what cost ? Unfortunately all the tracking data collected and used is a huge drawback. ( there was an opportunity to stop this some time back folks remember ? But that’s another subject ) I’ve grown tired of any item or subject even remotely related popping up across every website or app I visit after using Yelp. If I could read the reviews on a business I’m considering using without being required to install or re- install the app that would be huge. Using the site as a guest would be helpful. There will always be those who aren’t bothered by tracking or keeping an occasionally used app on their phone. I’m not one of them. Ok 3 stars. For its generally useful reviews from others who’ve bought from or used a business.

    By youreallydon't wantareview
Four of us went out to La Foresta after a long drought of COVID. We were really looking forward to it but what a disappointment! Two out of four did not get what we thought we had ordered. I ordered one of the two specials which was shrimp with broccoli but when it arrived in a deep bowl, it was mostly pasta and everything was bland, no flavor! It looked and tasted like a boiled dish! I couldn’t eat it! The other person had salmon with “lobster mashed potatoes” but the potatoes did not have any lobster or taste of lobster. This person never complains about her food but she couldn’t eat the potatoes!! They were heavily flavored with red pepper. Everything was expensive for what we had!! Also, there were flies and a wasp buzzing around us all evening! We’ve always enjoyed La Foresta but this was so awful that I doubt we’ll be going back.

    By daohana1
Just called to try and place an order to support this place. Not always on this side of the island so we were looking forward to the food here. Kalbi and hamburger steak was ono the last time we were here. Too bad sistah was sassy and couldn’t handle some simple questions. When asking my daughter if she wanted a mini or regular, the person taking the order went “oh my gosh!” With a heavy sigh! I guess she didn’t realize she said it out loud or something, but it wasn’t like she was trying to hide it either. Asked if there was someone else to speak to to take my order. She replied there was none. So I told her I’d call back. I’m hoping to get someone with some aloha. I hope no one else has to deal with this kind of customer service from here today. Keep the aloha alive!
  • Has so much potential, but their privacy and manipulation is terrible Oct 3, 2021

    By AlchemicKnowledge
Like others, I’ve use this app for years now. I have since mostly switched to using Google maps It was an invaluable tool for restaurants haircuts etc. Unfortunately it is not unbiased results, it is definitely pay to play, as all search results are biased based on how much owners pay period to get somewhat more organic results you need to sort the results buy a different metric The biggest issue I have is the privacy policy: The Yelp app was found to have allowed at least six active trackers even with ATT enabled using the “Ask App Not To Track” prompt. Interestingly, the same six trackers were observed when ATT was disabled. Likewise, 39 tracking attempts were recorded, which is only marginally lower than the 42 attempts when ATT was disabled.

First time I came here I really loved my nails and everyone was very friendly, I don’t remember the older mans name who did my nails but he was great. Second time around I came in hoping the same but unfortunately that was not the case. I had a photo to show my nail tech what i wanted and even then he did the opposite. I felt extremely bad because it seemed as if he was new and didn’t want to discourage him but for a simple one color and short regular nail with no design i paid 96 dollars in my opinion i don’t think that is a reasonable price when the first time i got much longer nails with powder and a French tip designed and paid 109. Go at your own risk and be prepared to either love it or hate it. And if you return your experience might be completely different from the first.

It would be very helpful in the app, to be able to review my review before I post it. I try to look at it, but it only gives me a quarter of an inch section in the middle to view. If I try and scroll, the keyboard keeps popping up taking up the whole screen; bouncing to the middle of the review. I like to make sure that I can re-read something, ensuring it is grammatically correct, and not missing words before posting.

Search results are rigged. Basically sends you to the popular places, but not in the way it's supposed to..very likely businesses that pay to be promoted. For example, I just searched the word "rooftop" and the first recommendation is a very popular bar I've been to before that definitely does not have a rooftop or any semblance of it. Their search results are so annoying. I now just use yelp to save places I've enjoyed eating at.
  • La Carreta International mall Jun 12, 2022

    By Miss their old habits
My husband and I are regular diners at La Carreta and we frequent several of their locations. The location at the International mall is very convenient so that is our go to place for a quick meal. We have always enjoyed the food there , however , our last few visits have been disappointing. The servers appear stressed and overworked , the food is brought out luke warm at best and the food is served piece meal. Today my husband ordered a palomilla steak with white rice and black beans. The black beans were brought out first and the steak and the rice several minutes later. Inevitably by the time the steak and rice arrived the black beans were cold. My husband asked for the beans to be warmed up. The server brought another bowl, and that was barely warmer than the one we turned back. I ordered their red bean soup and that was lukewarm to cold as well. I truly hope that these occurrences are only temporary and that they can go back to their “old habits” which for me made them one of my favorite places for a quick Cuban meal

This app is terrible! It serves a purpose and works 26% of the time but it is riddled with vague errors and random crashes. If you spend too long placing your order, it will just error over and over. You have to close and open the app, order the exact same meals and put in the exact same information and it will process immediately. The delivery notifications are constantly an half hour too late and for whatever reason, the "current location" when you search is never current. Maybe one day...

I’m not here to bash anyone and I am not angry… But I’m very disappointed…. There are many reasons but I’ll share my recent experience. My telehealth appointment was canceled without my knowledge. I was stuck on a video call…. By myself for 40 minutes!… After the 15 minute mark, I called the office and the auto message announced that they were CLOSED for the day…I asked questions without a response, sent a message to the doctor without a response and called the on call staff and all they did was take a message after my 2nd call. ( I have screenshots). I am still waiting on a call back. You can’t play with matters of health. It’s not a life threatening emergency room type of issue but an urgent issue that I hung on for until our appointment that MUST be addressed. As I grow wiser, I really can not accept this treatment. I’m not coming back. I’ll have to find a more reliable practice. Forget about 10 years of loyalty to a practice that really could give a dang about your life…..

The Yelp app hasn't been able to open in weeks. It crashes every time, starting two updates ago. Galaxy S7. Second issue: The release notes are useless, typically with no actual info about what's changed. Instead, the writer tries to be funny, says something lame about bugs-as-insects instead anything about the app. It would be nice to get useful info. I'm uninstalling and will check back in a few weeks to see if the crash has been fixed – it will be hard to tell though, given the release notes.
  • Difficult and a headache May 25, 2022

    By Rbaz81
App was better three years ago. It’s been simplified too much which makes it harder to select options if say requesting a quote. Bug when trying to attach pictures. Then in chat super slow and crashes. Also the nagging for location is super annoying. You don’t need to know where I am if I plug in the zip in the search. There’s also no clear way to clear a project. You have to manually delete every chat to close the project. So as much as they have tried to streamline the app they have failed and made it more difficult. Also ridiculous trying to see reviews by friends you have. They have it hidden. Then the biggest one yet- says there is a message waiting from a service but when I look there are no new messages. I think honestly all they want to do is collect info about you because the app is getting worse with each update and the reviews show I’m not the only one who thinks so.
  • Can’t search within bookmarks Jan 11, 2022

    By Meeshell_91
There’s no easy way to contact yelp directly so this is the only way that I know of where I can report an issue or request a feature. I have a LOT of bookmarks. I want to be able to search within my bookmarks to narrow down my results by city. Currently, it only searches the business title of whatever I want to find. However, if I do not know the business title or if I just want to look at my bookmarks within a city, I can’t narrow the results unless I go to map view where I then have to click each one individually to see what it is. I don’t want to do that. I want to be able to filter my bookmarks to a specific city and then I want to further filter by a category within that city, say restaurants. I bookmark a lot of things other than just restaurants and Yelp makes it very difficult to search within your bookmarks. Also: please add a “request a feature” option within the app!
  • Ordered takeout Apr 23, 2022

    By HF4evr
Very disappointed with my food! Placed my order at 6pm. I was told 25-35 minutes. I arrived at 6:30. They were very busy. I had to wait in line to actually tell someone I was there to pick up my order. I ordered the stroganoff and fire cracker shrimp. $40 + $5 tip. They add a 5% service charge for cook staff to the bill (incl in the $40) I get home and my food isn't even remotely warm. The stroganoff had barely any sauce to it and mushrooms were nearly non existent. Several of the steak pieces were mostly gristle. What ticks me off even more was that I gave a tip for take out food and they gave less than standard food. This place used to be extremely good. Perhaps having them serve you a plate for "sit down" in their establishment garners a higher level of care and service. This one was a big NO! Not sure if I will waste any future funds here. If you get take out, check it before you leave and don't tip until you do (if your so inclined).

  • Fake!! Jun 7, 2022

    By Alanna999999
Karma.

I have been taking my dogs to Kennelwood at Clarkson for over 20 years for grooming. The quality of service has been steadily eroding from excellent care to care that is indifferent to me and to my dogs. They have become a factory, overbooking , which results in the dogs arriving in mass early in the morning and not being released many times after 4:00 pm. And unless I pay for a day of doggie daycare they remain in a cage all day because there are no set appointments. I ignored many unpleasant issues during covid but the turnover and lack of caring still continues . KENNELWOOD THERE ARE MANY OTHER PLACES TO TAKE OUR DOGS!!! Today was no different as my reservation for bathing and grooming , which they had down only for bathing, was entered incorrectly and there was no accommodation made to honor the reservation today for my two dogs. The five staff at the desk just stood there , no apologies, no attempt to reconcile the issue. Where is the management here… where is customer service!!! NONE! I cannot recommend Kennelwood anymore as it has become a TRUST issue for me leaving my dogs with them for the day. Debbie Stiffelman
