In the New York story section they have the city of Rochester and while there is a Rochester, New York, the picture featured is of the top of the Plummer Building in Rochester, MINNESOTA! Home of the Mayo Clinic! A great little city - in Minnesota 😁. more

The game starts out super easy for example: ate, eat, tea from the three letters aet. I am up to level 80 with five letters and it is starting to get harder. Most of the game play time is quicker than the advertising playing time. I did not find that annoying. What I did find annoying was when I left the game for a moment to text, I needed to watch a full commercial before resuming my game. I could buy the add free version, but I won't, I will find another similar game. more

This is a pretty good game. I did not find the ads to be excessive. Two major flaws take off one star each. 1. You get rewarded with a higher number of points for each successive correct word. These end after a "wrong" word. Unfortunately,... 2. ... the vocab in this game is poor. There are lots of good words that are considered wrong. It counts some capital nouns, like my name, but not others names. You end up losing points for "incorrect" words that are actually correct. more

Game was fine, but the ads were so annoying I uninstalled after a while. I actually don't mind a quick ad after each level in a free game. Wait 5 seconds then click the X, no big deal. But these aren't usually 5-second ads and sometimes you have to sit through multiple timed screens before you move to the next level. Super annoying and not worth it to me. more

As the title says, I enjoyEd the game. Yesterday it quit giving me the link to open the game. I guess I played it all the way through to its end in Tennessee. Ashamed as I am from Texas. Lol

The game itself is a great challenge. Unfortunately there are many ads and I can deal with the the ads, but what is most annoying most of the ads refuse to close. Even when their time is up the ad simply refuses to go away! What you have to do is just close down everything and then open up the game again. Developers please take note! Your advertisers are not very nice to your customers! You should do something about this problem! more

Enjoyable game, but sometimes freezes up. Has to be rebooted. Lots of ads that interfere with game and sometimes covers game contents. I'm not inclined to buy words or help because the satisfaction of playing is to be self sufficient and savvy enough to do it without help. It is challenging and fun to do. more

Love the premise and I use the app every day, however, it has one big problem. Almost every time I play it the game stalls and is unusable. Sometimes closing it out and restarting gets it working, but a lot of the time it does not. It is very frustrating and am considering dropping this app. more

Have enjoyed the game until today. Had worked thru many, many levels only to find it all erased ! Back to level 1! 😡 Snookered again! Started over, only to have the game dump all my progress again! I had gotten through Colorado (levels are organized by states then cities). Apparently, they only constructed some of the states. It ends without warning. Don't waste your time on this game. Shamefully unfinished/broken! more

I played 64 levels of this game and decided to uninstall. The ads were constant and annoying. Later levels started to use 5 letter words but the pattern was the same and it became boring. Also, you didn't get any kind of credit for legitimate words you found if they weren't in the crossword. more

Each game takes a few seconds to complete and then each one is followed by an ad that takes longer than the actual play time. It’s not worth it.

BEWARE!! THIS APP USES MASSIVE AMOUNTS OF DATA!! LESS THAN 10 MINUTES WILL COST YOU ABOUT 150Mb. The game is good but there are ads almost after every puzzle but they are short or can be closed right away, but non the less, greedy developers strike again. Response to developer: There is no option to "tick/untick" anything except for audio. the privacy policy and data policy button don't work or do anything. I'm not going to disable the main feature of a phone just to play the game. Put a switch in the game settings that allows me to stop the app from using data and I will put it to 4 stars, cut out the constant ads after every single puzzle and it'll go to 5. You already have a constant banner ad you don't need no stop videos ads. more

I had to upload as the "new version" it is nothing like the old version of crossword jam. It did not carry anything over, all levels and coins are lost. Un-installing, I don't want to start from the beginning. I have 4 other games I play with no issues in updating to the same exact game and keeping my levels, rewards a d money spent synced. more

I think there are reviews for another game mixed in here. There are no jewels, tournaments, rankings, or points in this game. There are ads between every level but they are instant or 5 second close so no big deal. The problem is the dictionary. Many of the words are not actually English words (abbreviations, acronyms, slang, foreign language, onomatopoetic exclamations, etc.). Yet, many times it will not accept an actual English word (noir, framer, urine, gay, etc.). It's just okay, at best. more
