I have been playing for nearly a year now and have mostly had a good experience, that is, before the daily objectives became all but impossible to achieve without spending real money. That aside, my main problem now is that for the past couple of days, the game has been very slow to load matches, this applying to the first match you start after opening the application as well as to all subsequent ones. I'm wondering whether it's because of the current version (34.01 or something like that).

I would never be brave enough to audition for the actual TV show BUT this game is so well designed that after playing for a while I feel as satisfied as I would be if I was on the show. It is FUN, EDUCATIONAL and MAKES YOU THINK. It is amazing how much I remember when presented with questions so well stated. And. the designers did a great job with the lifelines. Shakespeare is my favorite.

I've reduced my rating to 3 stars. Why? 2 reasons. 1, having recently achieved level 9, the goal plateaus tripled while the intake for goals only went up by 125%. It makes no sense. Secondly, access to the experts I have achieved was reduced by 2/3rds. Again, it makes no sense. I still have the experts, but cannot use all of them until I power up to meet the number I have. Why? It's like I'm being penalized. An addendum would be about rare and epic experts. No one knows how they come about

It's a fun game but some easy questions are at high levels while some hard questions are low on the ladder. I like it better without the ads but once I paid; free films were reduced from 5 to 2. I used to use it to earn a couple extra lifelines and 35 crystals. Now that I am ad-free, only 15 crystals and 1 life-line are available. And I have to watch ads to get them. Should I go home first? Sometimes want to learn first, then play. Now I will just hit play and forget strategy.

Update: changes made to the game are clearly designed to force people to spend money on gems but I will not do it. Only 10 victory ribbons allowed per day, not even the gold boxes contain any decent lifelines (how many 'new question' lifelines does a person need?). There are too many other things I can do in my life for free (like read a book). Right now, I'm enjoying the challenge of seeing how well I can play the game with NO gems and NO lifelines, while keeping my money in my pocket.

I've collected 55 experts from mystery boxes, but I'm not able to use all my experts. Not even half, all support keep saying is the same thing, that I have to have the expert and lifeline expert to use ot. Makes no sense, out of the 55 experts collected from the mystery boxes, I can only use about 6 or 7 experts. What's the point of playing if I can't use the experts I've already collected? Uugh! If this issue is fixed, I can give a better rating.

This game takes pay to play to next level. It is not just pay to win, you have to spend money to keep playing. After 4 wins your crate deposit is full and you can only open crates with jems (you earn some jems by winning challenges but they re enough for 1-2 bronze crates). I m playing video games since 1996 and this is the first time i ve encountered such a "pay to play" policy. To put things into perspective i ve spent 13 euros for about 4-5 hours of playing. Commercials after every match!!

Question categories are excessively weighted towards Media (double the amount nearly of the next group) which makes the questions rather boring. There needs to be a lot more questions on the other categories such as history, geography, sport and science. It is frustrating trying to earn gems and waiting 12 hours to open a treasure chest is very tedious. There have been bugs, like the safety net and answer button options occassionally freeze up. Overall, it offers good brain practice.

Overall, the game has potential. The only thing though is that I just saw the same question I saw yesterday but it had a different answer to it, and then I lost. The question was," what is the official language of Costa Rica?" Yesterday it didn't have choices with Spanish on them. The answer was English. Ok fine, I got it wrong. Today the same question was asked, and I know its Spanish, the choice was there, but I chose English and it was wrong. Different answers for the same questions? Terrible

Fun but rigged to make you spend money on gems. Definitely not playing other humans as the AI is noticeable after a few weeks of playing. Your success is really based on the AI deciding how many questions you'll need to get right to win. Sometimes you can ONLY draw with your opponent as it is pre determined that you'll tie no matter how high or low you go. Equally you'll NEVER see someone get the 1st or 2nd question wrong which is obviously not normal. It is fun but it's definitely rigged.

Extremely time consuming, and competitive! I would enjoy it more if you could stay at the level you have achieved without being penalized and dropped to a lower level of you don't have the time to play. Also once you have played a while you can manage to play without buying more gems, but it takes more time to climb the ladder.

Usually the first ten questions are extremely repetitive. You have to watch a short ad after every game which is fair. It is a fun setup with the lifelines making coins to play is extremely easy due to early repetitive questions. It says you play against someone else which I don't think is true. Overall worth playing but they need to work on new questions.

I'm enjoying it and is very addictive. Interesting order, when the first questions are supposed to be easy and gets harder up the ladder, but it can be very mixed, some ridiculously easy the higher you go. The annoying thing is the videos are often not available in order to win extra points.

Lost in translation... Good ideas are in motion for this game, but I would not have qualified it for it to be out of Beta. The largest failure would be the trivia questions. They are being lost in translation from someone whose native language is not US English, nor communicates in US English. For all I know the questions are being created by AI/bots. I'm not sure why we have to wait to open winnings that are earned, while also waiting every 4 to play. Maybe they don't want people to play.

It is challenging. The last few updates have changed the game ALOT. I was really motivated by the daily goals but they are ridiculous now and the achievements are in the game's control. Experts have gotten dumber. Especially the last 2 ladder rungs, like Shakespeare not knowing which characters are in his play. Really? Lots more questions about TV, movies and celebrities; with less about science, history, or other school subjects. Less benefit of learning something useful even if you lose.

Game is fun as a one-off trivia contest, but the incentive structure is totally out of whack. Daily and weekly prizes would require you to play and win about 10-15 times a day, yet you can only win 4 prizes at a time unless you either spend $ or forgo the prizes. And it would require some pretty significant $.
