The program is easy for ppl who haven't run for a few years. Does not graph speed or elevation. just times intervals of running and walking. Simply gives an estimate of calories and average speed. Developers could improve by increasing the analysis of the run.

It's a really good app for getting started. The timings are nothing overly hard. Im not fit at all but the recommendations for running/walking where all put together well. With a bit of effort this will work.

I'm trying the run to lose weight program, 1) doesn't schedule rest days - not helpful for a novice 2) if you can't finish a session its not clear what to do, redo that day's run until you can complete it or should just move onto the next day? Seems like it uses steps to work out distance, not GPS, so distances covered don't match with GPS tracker (shows less distance). While I can see the thought in the program the actual implementation lacks something, so I think it's over priced.

One month plan was too costly.. app needs to create trust in the user first... you can't force someone to pay for whole year just to try out .. 7 days trial is not enough... as a user first i want to build my trust on the app by using it 1 month then only i will move to yearly plan. Keeping 1400 rs per month is absurd ... if app delivers what it promises.. definitely users will consider for yearly plan .. even if it is costlier than now ...

Really bad app. Do not waist your money on it. If the screen is locked you are not notified how much you still have to run. You practically need to run with the phone in your hand and unlocked. After you run you don't get any detailed data about your exercise, only the distance and the calories burned. I pay 29eur for nothing.

  • Needs work - has potential Aug 14, 2020

Price: $20 a month, very expensive so my rating will reflect my expectations of a $20 a month app. Bug: App constantly closes in the middle of workout. I think this happens when in low battery mode. Positive: - decent run plans which gradually improve your fitness level while telling you when to run and when to walk which makes running more approachable and easier to be consistent. Bad or lacking features: - doesn’t keep track of days you runs so it will tell you “today is a rest day” even if you took yesterday off. It’s not much better than a printed out schedule - Tells you “half way” for each individual segment but not your overall run, so you can’t plan out your run loop - no voice configurations like volume so it just blasts your eardrum when you listen to music - Can’t dynamically extend runs or configure rest/run segments - doesn’t gps track your run, need to have other apps open while this is on to get a complete feature set - doesn’t adjust your plan or future runs based on the feedback that it asks you to provide so the feedback is pointless - there are only 3 run plans: weight loss, train for 5k, train for 10K Overall, at this point in the app development it doesn’t provide much benefit over a free timer app.

Very rudimentary running plan and activity recording. You can't even see what it's offering without paying. "run a bit today. Run a bit more tomorrow. Record the time you ran for" Get strava. Or one of the other many free apps. If you actually spend the same money subscribing to Strava, you get a lot of features.

  • Crashes Frequently Aug 13, 2020

Be cautious when purchasing this app. When it works, it is ok and tracks your run and coaches you along the way. Unfortunately, when it doesn’t work, the app crashes. This morning the app crashed three times during the warmup, before I finally gave up. The other problem I have is the app lowers the volume of my music on my iPhone when the app is running a workout. I really wanted to like this app and was excited about the planned workouts to help me improve my running. The crashing makes me wonder why I spent nearly $40 for three months.

  • My first review for an app Sep 16, 2020

    By SeatleGary
I’ve gained a few pandemic pounds. Thought this app will help me loose the weight. It’s super basic but still a good coach. Reminds me of an electronic Orangetheory class. But the problem is that it’s crashed twice on me in the middle of my workout. It’s hard enough to get motivated to work out and loose weight, but crashing in the middle of the workout is discouraging. Also my music get muffled and I can’t heard it while the app is in use.

  • App closes Aug 4, 2020

The app closes in the middle of a workout- forcing to restart from the beginning. It also doesn’t seem capable of running in the background while playing music. Any ideas what could be the issue??

The app looks promising but it is lacking key functionalities, no ability to change profile info, no Google Fit integration, no weight tracking..

False advertisements The app has false advertisements from what shows you on social media, and from what it can actually do. Already contacted developer for a refund and they limited to reply that google gives developer the final call as to what it and what isnt refundable ACCORDING to the developer call. Deceiving, false and only looking for people's money.
