Where is the hourly UV INDEX? Perhaps I am mistaken. Perhaps the ever-present Dew Point Reading is more meaningful to everyone’s health than are UV rays/skin damage/burn blisters/melanoma. I believe this is the first time I have seen capitalism not influence the transmission or promotion of scientific information. The manufacturers of skin protection products are obviously not promoting the weather information sources, nor the NOAA, the US Weather Service, and the CDC to provide information that would encourage the use of their skin protection products. I believe that, somehow, all of these sources and agencies agree that we, their consumers and constituents, would rather sit around waiting for the for the ambient temperature to decrease to the point where we will be able to see dew form on outdoor plants, lawns, and ourselves. Otherwise, I enjoy weather&radar app over all of the other weather apps.

No app is perfect but this one is a keeper. It's simple and to the point without a lot of unnecessary glam. The ads don't seem to be in the way or cumbersome. It appears logically put together starting with current weather, scrolling down to daily, weekly and extended forcasts, then followed by the radar. The radar is serviceable but could be a bit better as long as it doesn't require a great deal of space or memory to run.

They seem to have done a better job designing The interface to present to see a lot of information relatively easily, mainly for my local area but also a bit for surrounding regions. And so far they seem to be more accurate in their forecasts than the horrible in-Accu-weather, which I’ve been using for sometime. The ads are only slightly annoying as opposed to the horrendous scrolling ads that some apps, all of which I have deleted, use. I am actually considering trying out the modest prices for eliminating the ads to see if that seems worthwhile. In addition to my review some weeks later is that this is the first app that I’ve been willing to pay for the premium version, which I thought reasonably priced and it actually seems worthwhile.

For me, it's slways the little details that make an app great. This app doesn't have those details.

I find your forecasts to be more accurate than most others. We live in a small village near Guadalajara and it seems that most services use Guadalajara as a basis for weather predictions in our area. However, we live on Lake Chapala which is about 35 miles from Guadalajara and there is a mountain range between there and our village. That, combined with the effects of the lake makes the weather quite different here. We appreciate your app and will continue using it as our go to weather app in the future. C.S.

Lots of good info, but complex to use. Remove ads is very expensive ... I think over $1 per month, so it's a continual cost every month, not just a one-time purchase. Also, maps are not accurate. I tried use it at lake gaston nc and the map of the lake bears little resemblance to the actual lake shape. That, and the inability to zoom in close, makes it very limited. Also, I need a weather app, not a news channel. So all those news stories about west coast or other far off areas are just clutter.

I must say I have only had this app for a few days and so far the weather in my area has not had much of a change ( it’s summer in Texas ) but I absolutely love the detailed weather information available on your site! I am a senior who has been interested in the weather for as long as I can remember. I had three weather apps already that I’ve used for years before I loaded this one. Being able to get wind speed, direction, pressure and so many other details is a real bonus! Your app is, so far, the only one I would ever need. I can’t give it 4 stars yet as I have not been through enough weather emergencies to date. If I am notified of extreme conditions in a timely manner, I may be able to re-submit my review. So far; Wow!’

Only been using for a few days but local weather has been right on point. The ability to add on other places of interest across the country and gave their weather on hand is also a plus. The weather maps, wind advisory map, and warning alerts are also a big plus. As well to have the options if and Ad. Ap, or Free Ap is also an advantage. No.problems as of yet! Will keep you updated.

While this app does appear to give good information, and accurate, I have written and complained that there is always a notification, number one in red, like it’s a warning but when I actually open the app there is nothing there to be warned about. I have grown weary of tapping on this and it does not go away. I think every time you open the app when you see this warning it’s a plus for this app. Therefore I am going to delete it as I find this false warning annoying. It takes away from the credibility of the app if there’s nothing there to be warned about. Shame on you for not correcting this

So far so good. Need a bit more time though with this app before rating 5🌟s. I believe I've tried every weather/clock app on the Google Play Store over the past 6 months. I wanted a specific look particularly the background showing a very real representative of the weather outside my front door. And Weather Online does it better than the others. And it doesn't need a press of the refresh button as it is "always" already current on it's very own.
  • GARBAGE WEATHER APP Mar 6, 2022

This Weather App is Absolutely “USELESS”. It only displays an Animated Radar, NOT a Live Doppler Radar. ANOTHER SCAM. ((And even the Animated Radar Refuses to Work)). Why do these outfits get away with this? I will tell you exactly why! To sell all your personal information to the Highest Bidder, which they grab off your device the second you load the app. And no VPN protects you either, as they are all Fraudulent. Actually, they’ll give all your information to ANYONE who Requests it, NO QUESTIONS ASKED. If You Don’t Believe Me; That’s Certainly Your Right. SO YOU APP GUYS GET ZERO ⭐️STARS, but It’s mandatory to Click On at least One Star, in order to leave a Review. I WILL BE UNINSTALLING AS SOON AS I POST THIS. Let’s See if they even Put it Up, as it doesn’t go along with the Narrative, and it does not fit their Criteria for Positivity ! • signed, “The Lone Ranger” 🐴

Too bad you just start looking at the forecast and an ad not only pops up but won't leave. No x to push. The forecasts are below average in accuracy. Any forecast on any service beyond 3 days is a guess, so keep that in mind as you look for an app. Please also note the answers to complaints: send a screenshot. Send a picture. You don't understand what "blank white screen " is? It looks like you might be in Germany. If that's accurate, predicting the weather in Kentucky is a guess.

Have had this a few days and am going to uninstall. I find it hard to read with too much stuff on the screen and hard to spot the change from one day to another. I seldom ever want or need the hourly temps but that is the main focus of this app. Temps are not even close for my part of the county. I want something at a glance with forecast, temp, and radar I can click or skip. In depth on the temps, and forecast within easy reach.

First ad to pop up nearly full screen links to a hookup site! I'm not even kidding! "U date. Where girls make the first move. " Seriously? & no this isn't an ad provided by Google. There's no option (x in the top corner indicates it's an ad placed by Google) to close the ad, which means it's an ad provided by the developer- the app itself & but a 3rd party. Really? Is that what is appropriate for a weather application? No. I didn't think so. Uninstalled .
  • Where are the coastal water temperatures? Feb 1, 2019

    By RBDouglas
This seems like a great app. I just started using it. It shows temperatures all over the world from the US to Australia to Africa and Europe and more, I’m sure. But, where the hell are the coastal water temperatures that you promised? By the way, you also promised no ads in your App Store description/advert. But, that promise is only fulfilled in the pro/paid version of this app. If you’re going to charge for it, you should at least have the decency to tell us in advance! Otherwise, it feels like a rip off!

Well, I have my purchase back but now I am getting news alert notifications that I have no interest in. I have notifications off (only alerts for my current location) and have news removed from my page. Don’t force stories to me I have no interest in or wake me up for something that has zero impact to me.

I live weather. I don’t live the majority of weather apps. In fact, I still don’t have one that I really like. But interestingly, I found this one buried in my phone and decided to check it out again. I stopped using it because it was just like all the others. Perhaps the developers made some changes? In either case, it’s my go-to app for weather now. Skier, sailor, fisherman, climber, all around outdoor sports and I need a good weather app.

    By Mark Joeseph
Weather & Radar USA is the first I go to and also the best weather app I use. Information presented is very detailed but visually easy to comprehend. Love the Forecast, 14 day high and low temperature graph. Also, Forecast Today is broken into the next four - 6 hr. Increments, Morning, Afternoon, Evening and Night. The 90 minute weather overcast is very useful for short term planning. Get the Weather & Radar USA app you will love using it. Developers did a great job !

Every weather app has basic features. This one does a better job of putting them on the same page so that you don’t have to look all over. As with any new app the more you use it the easier it becomes to go to just what your looking for. For me: wind speed, direction; length of day, Temperature in short intervals all add up to a quicker review of what to expect as I use it to navigate small vessels during sea training exercises. The radar also is different and has new ways of observing better than others. About the only thing lacking from my perspective is tides, and wave wave periods, but its easy to get what I need quickly and then go to another app for that information to get a complete weather observation in less than 5 minutes

One of the best weather & radar maps on the web. I have tried many of the others, but this one rated at least 10 Stars. Covers many of the smallest cities as well as the large ones with explicit weather maps and details. Zooming in and out of locations, also very good and flawless so far. You won't be sorry if you download this app.
  • Accurate Jul 3, 2020

This has been pretty accurate so far. Been using it for a couple weeks and it has been correct in the predictions. We live in a rural area and it is giving us the weather for our actual area which is nice. Other weather apps might show our area on the map but predictions are often for the next larger township to the south of us, which has much different temperatures and weather patterns.

Radar is a clear, full-screen picture. Rain, wind, temperature are intuitive to see without going through (weird) " layers." I look at weather radar most often, but I like hourly temperatures, % rain chance, wind direction, sunshine, high & low temperatures throughout the day. Those are easy to find whenever I want. I have never found a weather app so well-put together as this one!

I grew sick and tired of The Weather Channel app crashing and freezing almost every time I used it, so after looking at the alternatives I downloaded W&R. I love the format, layout and smooth performance. BUT… in the past two weeks it has predicted consistently and in some cases ridiculously high probabilities of rain over Brooklyn, on days when only the briefest shower, if anything at all, fell on us!! PLEASE turn down that sensitivity! Not every cloud that appears on your radar brings rain!!! Please fix this, because I love everything else about your app and its performance!!!

I love the app. Right amount of information but not cluttered. Nice visual interface. The only thing that I would change is give folks ability to change to the radar color pallette. I am so use to green for rain, pinks for sleet/freezing rain and blue for snow that anything else is distracting. Just give folks ability to modify the radar colors to preference would be perfect.

One of the best free weather apps I have found. I have tried them all in the last few weeks. While they all have nice features, this app gives me just what I needed. The simple feature of following you on your GPS, without hitting too many buttons is what I really wanted. There was another Dark app that I subscribed to for a year, but I really don't want to pay for weather. This app will not disappoint.

Good Graphics, Good Data I was looking for something that gave me alerts, marine data, sun/moon info and good radar maps. This wasn't perfect, but provided most of the wanted data and I liked the clear and easy to follow graphics that were created to present it. Lastly, I reviewed the homepage widgets that each app offered for my phone. Of the, approximately, half a dozen top rated apps that I checket, I think this app is pretty well designed.
  • Great app but bug in last version Nov 5, 2019

Ever since the last update, there was a bug in the rainfall map view. The “now” view now has a bug where the slider is all the way to the right yet the time is about a half an hour behind the actual time. So, as it is now, this view is useless. Before the last update it worked very well and it was one of my go to apps for Weather.

Ever since I moved back from Geneva Switzerland to the Seattle area I have missed the Météo Swiss weather app animations. Yours are the closest to them I have seen. • Not localized enough. Feb 22, 2020

    By DisgruntledUser411
Former WU user, looking for new app. This one has the enhanced satellite I was looking for, but the current and future weather is based on my local airport weather, which is in a different forecast zone and is about 10m miles away. That matters in the Rocky Mountains. Also, the temp doesn’t update very quickly. NOAA weather online has the new temp for the airport at 11:00, but even at 11:10, this app has not updated. Also, the map, while showing where I am located, does not show town names other than the Major Radar sites. Therefore, the nearest named town is over 100 miles from me.
  • Nov 18, 2020

I just installed this app and already like it. The only reason i give it 3 stars is the temperature that it shows on the map does not match the one that shows on opening screen!!! So if thats the case, there is no way you can go by the map & radar. If the temps are wrong on the radar map then the rest of info is probably wrong.....

Hi, The app is just okay. Not any different from the average app. I would like to be able to fine tune to my exact location. You also need much much better storm tracking if you want me to use your app. A nice feature on my very old WU app was 25, 50, and 100 mile radiuses from my gps location. Please add that feature.

I would like to be able to set it up so as to be able to check the weather in more than one location quickly and efficiently...with a click the ability to go to a file page that lists the cities of interest
  • GARBAGE WEATHER APP Mar 6, 2022

    By PLAYBOY MANSION

  • Getting news alerts Oct 6, 2020

    By Danpopbradley
Well, I have my purchase back but now I am getting news alert notifications that I have no interest in. I have notifications off (only alerts for my current location) and have news removed from my page. Don’t force stories to me I have no interest in or wake me up for something that has zero impact to me.
