  • At level 40 and enjoying it Feb 6, 2021

By Finally a great chill game
I tend to download and delete lots of games. I stopped playing Gems of War recently and I’ve tried a lot of games to fill some time. Some games are too easy and I spend as much time watching ads as I do playing. Some games you’re just hoping for the right next piece so you can beat your previous score or time, but you never really feel like you progress. It’s gets boring fast. Still others you progress through until you start reaching levels that feel nearly impossible to beat. And many of these games have the same RNG issues that make other games boring forcing you to play the same level many times. So far, Water Connect doesn’t have any of those problems. Many of the first 40 levels have been easy, but some have been challenging. More importantly it keeps my interest because each level has been a little different and the only way you can fail a level is to give up.

I found this game to need a fair amount of thoght to be put into, some levels are something a 2 year old can do, others you have to think about. The only thing that holds this back is the LARGE amont of ads, if you take some time on a level, an ad plays. I understand that apps like this use ads to make money, but this is stupid, decrease the number of ads, and I think this would be a pretty good brain teaser

  • Fun and actually challenging! Feb 13, 2021

    By Urtinyfriend
I saw it didn’t have very many reviews and so I decided to give it a go. I played the first 10 levels and by the 10th one I had to change a few blocks several times. So many games are easy forever and this one got challenging pretty quick. I appreciate that. The sounds were good and the graphics weren’t bad either. One complaint is the frequency of ads but honestly I know that’s how free games get paid so I’ll put up with it. One suggestion is a star rating per level. Idk if it would work with this game but maybe like this. 1 star complete 2 stars complete and used all the tiles 3 idk maybe under a certain time frame. 30 seconds or 1 min or something. Then show a chart with all the levels you’ve passed and how many stars you got. And allow people to go back to older evils to improve their star rating. I would recommend this game if it’s the type you enjoy. It was worth it to me and I will keep it at least for a while. I have it on my iPad and I bounce between games all the time so this one will be a nice change from what I have :) 5 stars :) ——— update ——— Now at level 209 and still very much enjoy it. I think it works on airplane mode if you want to play with out ads but I always forget to turn that off. So I don’t bother. They aren’t bothersome anyway. It’s a great game and I still rate it 5 stars and recommend it.

No doubt, this game is fun. It is super satisfying to watch the trees come to life when you correctly path the water. There are 2 downsides: a ridiculous amount of ads (one after every single level) and the level sizes. I was hoping there would be bigger levels later on, like in Flow Free, but unfortunately the levels stay the same, therefore the challenge doesn't really increase (I am at level 1009). Otherwise, great game.

  • Nice fun game Jan 23, 2021

Saw this as an ad in a different game and decided to give it a go. Instantly got hooked as I very much like puzzle games. Some levels are easy and some are a little tougher. Definitely a nice change of pace and a quick go to as a break from other work or gaming. Couple suggestions: 1. I would pay for this app if it meant I didn’t have to watch an ad after every level. I understand that’s how free games work, but give me an option for an ad-free experience and I am positive I wouldn’t be the only one to hop aboard. 2. I have seen other reviews suggesting a screen where you can see the levels you’ve already beaten and possibly go back and play them again. This would obviously only make sense if there were a three star (or however many you want) rating system for each level you beat. Then you could go back and see if you can beat your old high score. 3. If you really wanted to expand the game, you could have a level creator where users could make their own puzzles and submit for others to play. This might be something you could only do in a paid version of the app, but might be fun and entice a few more users to download the app. Overall, glad I found this game and am really enjoying it. Thanks!

There is literally an ad after every level played. Unless willing to spend money to make the apps go away. I could understand if it was every 2-3 levels, but nope. Also, even if the sound is muted the ads will not be muted so I hope you're not in a quiet area or trying to do something else like listen to music.

The game is fun but i dont like that there is an ad between every single level and the ad is harassing...repeditive...annoying. I deleated the game after the fifth level.

The number of ads on this game is insane. I understand this is a free game, but an ad on each level, then a full screen 30-45 second ad every other level, finally an interactive ad (note this is still between levels) kills the immersion into the game. Would not recommend unless you like ads. :)

  • Great relaxing challenge Jan 22, 2021

    By Gavalis
The slow build up of difficulty is great and it does remain a good enough challenge after lvl 100, as not all the pieces are used every level and multiple colors are sometimes used. I’ve had really easy three color puzzles, boggling single color puzzles, and vice versa. The hint button is up there in the corner for the cost of an ad and fixes a percentage (at least during high levels, might be different in smaller puzzles at the beginning) and temporarily highlights them to let you know to leave those alone. Multiple hints do not redo the same section. It feels very rewarding to complete a difficult puzzle. There is currently only one track, but it is tranquil and willing to let you stop and think (as supposed to an up beat “do it ASAP” techno song). There are patterns to utilize, but to reiterate, puzzle variations means you cannot simply auto pilot the levels, which means playing does not become stale nor grow monotonous. Well done.

I like it..., but,... I hate that once the puzzle is solved, I can see it for one second and then the big banner get in the way. Give me a way to see it working. PLEASE. Also, rather than fix the tiles with the hints, tell me one tile that's wrong and let me go from there. If I need another hint, I'll gladly watch another comm. I just want a little help, not a solution. Other than that, I like the game. Thanks.

  • Love this game, but Level 230+ Needs Somehing More Feb 8, 2021

    By Rfoehl71
I have never reviewed a game, but this one I just had too. The color blending levels really resonate with my visual creativity. I love this game, it’s been a week and I find myself on level 230 something. It’s peaceful and not impossible to figure out. No stressful timers and demands interrupting your zen. I would like to see this game progress to buying away the ads for a single fee, and more levels with multi colored options because they are the most intriguing and difficult. I have yet to find another game that uses primary colors to create secondary colors that are incorporated into the puzzle. However, there are more colors that could be utilized. A general “how to play” would be helpful, with a main menu showing what level you are on (easy, medium, hard, expert) and how many levels are left. Right now, I feel like I am simply rotating through previous levels and I have no idea if it will ever end.

Mostly love it, but not sure if I am supposed to try to connect everything into one flow, even if there are different coloured oasis. I have been able to do that, but not always. Would be nice if there was a short tutorial with the options and final goal. Also agree with others - would like to be able to see/watch the final product without graphics covering it

The ads are annoying but it's a straightforward and decent game. The puzzles are challenging and satisfying to solve, and the aesthetic is pretty good. However, it's a very resource-intensive game. Expect a warm phone and a dead battery after playing for extended periods of time.

  • More ads than game Dec 29, 2020

    By lightweight time waster
Cute game. I don't mind sitting through ads because I play for free and understand that developers are not creating games for the good of humanity. But when you spend more time waiting for the x to pop up so you can close out of the ad than you do actually playing the game, it gets old fast. I suggest the developers keep tweaking the ratio (maybe an ad every three or four rounds) until they hit the sweet spot of keeping their consumers playing for hours instead of a minutes. I think your revenue could rise.

So Many Ads! There are so many ads that breaks the enjoyment of the app. Drop the amount of ads with only a few here and there will be much better. 3 stars for the enjoyment when ads aren't playing.
