    Ever since the new update whenever I want to pause a movie by taking out one of my air pods the movie doesn’t pause anymore. It continues to play over speaker which I don’t want it to do. I even tried pausing the movie on screen then removing my pods and the movie kicks back on and plays on the speaker. I also tried turning my screen off for it to remain paused until I can get back to my movie and it plays on speaker in the background! This is very frustrating cause every time I need to walk away I miss part of my movie and have to rewind back to where I left off which isn’t perfect so I have to rewatch scenes again. I thought maybe it must be the air pods but now all the other movie apps I use actually pause when I double tap or take my air pod out. Please please update again and make it compatible again.

    To the developers - please fix the Continued watching. For some reason even when I actually finish watching the Movie or TV show. It rewinds back like 15 -30 mins and sticks them episodes in the continue watching section. If I finished and fast forward through the credits and start the next episode why does it show up in the Continue watching section when I finished watching it. So, the entire 1st season is in the continue watching section. The only things that should go to continue watching is stuff I haven’t actually finished watching. Like I watched the first 15 mins of a movie and I got interrupted. I keep getting play back error 1008 for movie/TV show that are Downloaded. Why am I getting an error playing download shows? This happens while on WiFi or Not. But if it is downloaded there shouldn’t be a problem. It is not connection based because others play just fine. Downloaded or not. For some reason your app wants me to re- downloaded them.

    Phenomenal. As one of the many skeptics when it comes to the news, this documentary struck me as being more genuine and more believable than anything I have ever seen that dealt directly with politics, culture, and ideology. It simultaneously hit home some true things I was instinctively happy to hear while applying the very same principles and truth to areas that were uncomfortable to hear. Refreshing, challenging. Too bad Amazon seems to have cancelled it!

    I like Vudu’s service and massive menu of movies to buy or rent, but the format could use some work, and there is a bug. I’ll leave a review about this problem and maybe you’ll fix a bug that has existed on the AppleTV app for a long time. When I scroll slowly down through my movies, I make it to about 25% and the view jumps almost to the end of my library. If I scroll back up, it goes about 25% of the way then jumps to the beginning of the library. To pick a movie I usually scroll the menu in my iPad, pick one, then I search for it it the Search window on my AppleTV. That works, but I’d rather do a leisurely scroll to choose what I want to watch.

    This was absolutely the WORST movie I have ever seen with Richard Gere in it! It seemed good at first, had me excitedly waiting to see what happened next, then it just suddenly ended, on a cliff hanger, no less! We were left not knowing what happened, if the bad guys were arrested/killed, what—absolutely no clue if there were any repercussions from their awful crime, who was blamed, etc. What a complete waste of time & money, unfortunately by actors I usually really liked & appreciated! Thank goodness this was a freebie. If I had paid box office prices, I would have been seriously ticked off & disappointed. Honestly, I don’t believe this was the actors’ fault, necessarily, but rather the constraints on the writers’ time & the film budget. They could have provided some sort of decent ending that didn’t leave the watchers hanging! To Richard Gere, I expected much better. There was absolutely no real ending/conclusion at all! Waste of serious time/money.

    Edit April 7th 2021: there is a bug now with the Android app where you cannot resume shows on your watch list. You have to click on the series itself and find the episode in the list of seasons and resume it from there. It will not play from the watch list anymore. I have contacted support and they're only solution is to uninstall the app and reinstall it which I have done numerous times.

    Horrible. After the December 15th update it wont play anything I bought before the update! I'm SO angry! I'd give it 0 stars if I could!!! X( Update: I still can't play the movies I ordered before the last Android update! When will this be fixed?!? I'll be damned if I pay for more movies until I get my old ones back!!!

    half of the time, my movies aren't able to play and I end up having to close the app and re-open until it actually plays. it's starting to get annoying. I would give it 2 1/2 stars because I am slightly under neutral about this app

    The app is geared towards buying movies, which you cannot do through the app. The first thing you see is a bunch of movies you can’t tell the price of unless you go to the website. The interface for watching a series is awful. If you use chromecast, it does not have an auto play feature. So once an episode ends you have to go back to your series and find what episode you are on to continue watching. The continue watching feature is cluttered and confusing. It will save multiple episodes of the series you are watching that are partially watched, even though you have watched the entire episode making it difficult to keep track of where you are in the series when you have to dive back in every time an episode ends. Overall the app works, just not well. It needs a complete overhaul that is geared towards watching the content you own, instead of trying to sell you things you can’t even buy through IOS.

    I have used this app for awhile now. (It’s also built into my TV) I have purchased several movies as well as watched several of the free ones as well. I spent a dumb amount on the Incredibles 1 & 2 bundle package for my kids. Started our marathon. First plays fine, second attempts to load and immediately goes to the end like we watched in a matter of 2 seconds. I email tech support asking for assistance, I get a response 24 hours later advising to run a network test and to uninstall and reinstall the app. The app is BUILT INTO MY TV. I picked a different movie and it played fine. Their advice ... run the network test and advise of my IP address and the test results. Just think as tech support the power cycle/network blame game is over played. And truly I believe they didn’t even read my full email. Guess there goes the $35 I paid for 2 movies

When I scroll slowly down through my movies, I make it to about 25% and the view jumps almost to the end of my library.     Great. I love vudu. I wish you had an add to cart funtion instead of a ton of small charges when theres a good sale. I also wish you could still share libraries. But other than that its perfect.

    We love having access to our movie collection from any screen. Our collection of DVDs hasn’t been touched since we moved ... four years ago. When I travel, I like that I can download a handful of movies to my iPad when I don’t have WiFi. I’m giving Four Stars because it lacks an important feature: I would like to see the ability to purchase and add to my library right there in the app. You have to open a web browser to complete four more steps to log in, find the title, click Buy, choose the format, confirm the purchase ... and THEN you can watch the movie you wish you could have purchased on demand within the app. I would have a bigger collection by now if you offered in-app purchases.

    I think it's great my only problem is it takes entirely way to long to download a movie for if I won't have Wi-Fi when I want to watch something. Sometimes it can take hours to end up not even finish recording when I have perfect wifi

    Good movie app just wish they carried more titles in their catalog. There are some versions of movies that do not have the option of purchasing or viewing.

    Pause movie and it gets disconnected very fast from Chromecast. Literally not enough time for a number 1 bathroom break unless you really rush, and even then maybe. I don’t understand why it times out at all. Timeout should be no less than 30 minutes. Very annoying. Otherwise basic, but works well and good movie meta info. Shows ads for the same few movies/shows when establishing casting connection. Some random trash I would never watch. Down two stars for those two annoyances.

    I think this app is great. However whenever I try to log in, it says my password is incorrect. So, I go to the app store and download a random app and type in my password, and it says it is correct. Note I have tried completely refreshing my phone, and I have tried multiple times to get it to work and it will not work. And when I send the email to try to reset the password, I dont get the email. Its not in my junk or spam folder either. I hope I can get this app to work because I think I would enjoy it if it worked.

    There are a few things that make this app quite clunky for me: —No in-app rentals, you have to switch back and forth from the website to the app to watch something. —No skip back or forward a few seconds buttons (which almost all streaming platforms have). Miss one line and you end up 5 minutes back trying to use the scroll bar to get to where you want. —Volume buttons don’t work on a mobile device. You have to tap the volume icon and adjust using a scroll bar. —Doesn’t remember closed caption settings if exit the app or disconnect from chromecast and come back to the same film/show. It also seems to disconnect from chromecast when paused more quickly than other apps so this does happen fairly often in some sittings. Closed captions also turn off after every commercial break if content has commercials.

    I have enjoyed this service for over two years now and the convenience it offers for movies and TV. The only two things l haven’t enjoyed are the Disc to Digital service( A lot of the movies I have on disc I was unable to create a digital copy) due to availability of certain movies. Which l can buy for my library, but can’t create a digital copy from the one I had already purchased. Second I feel the rental price for the movies is way to high. I can rent from Redbox or other places for less.

    My only complaint is the terrible customer service. Multiple times when I’ve had problems I’ve emailed them and have not received a reply. Or I don’t hear from them until I sent three emails to them and it’s three weeks later. And their customer service doesn’t even try to make up for errors on their end or anything. They just seem to not really care about their customers remaining pleased with their service.

    Lots of great tv shows for free (with ads) but it's a shame that everytime an ad section finishes it tosses an error. Then when you resume playback it triggers another round of ads, which may or may not throw another error forcing you to watch more ads. Might be a forgivable bug if it didn't happen on every ad segment. At this point it seems like you don't mind the users negative expirience because you're getting triple the ad revenue of what you would have if the bug was fixed.

    I'm trying to download one of my purchased movies, and it freezes. And doesn't continue to download, so the I go to edit to remove it. And that doesn't work cause it still shows up.

    First, I had to get help buying a movie because there is zero accessibility. Voiceover on the iPhone does not read any of the movie titles. They expect you to pay a huge amount for HD movies versus SD movies, where as everybody else just charges one price and updates them as needed. Second, the movie that I purchased, though my voodoo account is linked with Movies anywhere, the movie that I just paid extra for the HD version of isn’t even showing up on movies anywhere, and therefore, iTunes. The website was hokey, and took forever for me to be able to change my billing options. This needs to be fixed! If I buy a movie, which I paid extra for, I want to have access to that movie. Blind people watch movies too! Stop taking our money if you’re not going to give us access to our movies!

    When I tried to watch my latest purchase on 04/02/2021, I can't access it and watch it. Every time I try to watch my purchased TV show, I would get this pop-up saying "Content not found. Sorry the title isn't available on vudu." Also when I try to watch it on TCL Roku TV, it would take me back to Vudu home screen. So I'm done to Vudu. Thank God for GoogleTV and Amazon!!!🙂 I would highly recommend Amazon, GoogleTV or even Fandangogonow than Vudu!😡😠😡🤬
