    To the developers - please fix the Continued watching. For some reason even when I actually finish watching the Movie or TV show. It rewinds back like 15 -30 mins and sticks them episodes in the continue watching section. If I finished and fast forward through the credits and start the next episode why does it show up in the Continue watching section when I finished watching it. So, the entire 1st season is in the continue watching section. The only things that should go to continue watching is stuff I haven’t actually finished watching. Like I watched the first 15 mins of a movie and I got interrupted. I keep getting play back error 1008 for movie/TV show that are Downloaded. Why am I getting an error playing download shows? This happens while on WiFi or Not. But if it is downloaded there shouldn’t be a problem. It is not connection based because others play just fine. Downloaded or not. For some reason your app wants me to re- downloaded them.

    This is an awesome app! Plenty of free things to watch, but also lots available to purchase if you want. I had never tried this until I decided to get my free digital copy of a movie I was waiting for shipment. I didn’t realize how cool this app was, and I’m glad I decided to get the digital copy and discovered this new way to watch on my phone. I have already watched some really great movies for free, and I like how there’s not much ads in the ones that do have ads, and it works perfectly. No issues at all so far. The movies change every week I believe, so there’s always fresh content and something for everyone even the kids! I definitely recommend this app!

    This was absolutely the WORST movie I have ever seen with Richard Gere in it! It seemed good at first, had me excitedly waiting to see what happened next, then it just suddenly ended, on a cliff hanger, no less! We were left not knowing what happened, if the bad guys were arrested/killed, what—absolutely no clue if there were any repercussions from their awful crime, who was blamed, etc. What a complete waste of time & money, unfortunately by actors I usually really liked & appreciated! Thank goodness this was a freebie. If I had paid box office prices, I would have been seriously ticked off & disappointed. Honestly, I don’t believe this was the actors’ fault, necessarily, but rather the constraints on the writers’ time & the film budget. They could have provided some sort of decent ending that didn’t leave the watchers hanging! To Richard Gere, I expected much better. There was absolutely no real ending/conclusion at all! Waste of serious time/money.

    We love having access to our movie collection from any screen. Our collection of DVDs hasn’t been touched since we moved ... four years ago. When I travel, I like that I can download a handful of movies to my iPad when I don’t have WiFi. I’m giving Four Stars because it lacks an important feature: I would like to see the ability to purchase and add to my library right there in the app. You have to open a web browser to complete four more steps to log in, find the title, click Buy, choose the format, confirm the purchase ... and THEN you can watch the movie you wish you could have purchased on demand within the app. I would have a bigger collection by now if you offered in-app purchases.

    Good prices and vast selection. We enjoy it a lot. Some improvements would make it a five star app: It really needs the ability to sort your library into smaller libraries for different family members. Right now, if my 10 year old pulls the app up, Bridesmaids, is right there. The parental controls they have are really not thought out for how a family will need and use the app. Also, sometimes a movie I buy “disappears”, and it’s just not in my library. Usually resolves itself over time but frustrating when you want to watch immediately.

    Don't waste your time with this app. Constant redemption issues. They run u through Hoops that ultimately accomplishes nothing. Trying to mirror devices to smart tv works when they r showing their advertisements but when the movie starts is very choppy and distorted. Have had it for several months when I can find a place to move my digital library I will be done with them.

    I liked it until I realized movies I purchased were disappearing randomly. Really irritating when you scroll through your library and something is missing. Then, when you go to search for it, there is a buy now option...as if I never owned it. Deepwater Horizon vanished from my library and then magically reappeared. The Woman in Black? Parts 1 and 2? Vanished forever. What a rip off.

    App will not allow me to watch any movies above the SD even though i own mostly HDX. tells me that all of a sudden only SD can be played on this device, which I have had for well over a year and watched movies in HDX with no issue. Well done Vudu! Anyone know how to move your media to another app? No I can't watch VUDU with sound on the same TV I have used since my last comment. Anyone know how to transfer your movies to another platform??????

    This app is in major need of an overhaul. It's playback controls make me feel like I'm stepping back 5 years. While casting, the controls in the notification bar are next to nonexistent. It would be nice to be able to jump back or ahead 10 to 15 seconds from the notification bar as having to launch the app is tedious. Also, if you're one of the major streaming apps, it's absurd that you don't have scene selection. Take a few cues from Amazon prime video, scene selection and cast in scene.

    Well up till now I been very happy with my vudu experience. But recently I have purchased a TV series box set. And I am able to playback the episodes just fine on my cell phone, but am having difficulties being able to watch the series on any of the smart TV s I have in my home. Again this is the first time I have experienced this situation. I tried calling a vudu customer service number but wasn't a successful call. If you have recommendations for me , I would love to hear them, Thank you.

    I love this app so much and so thankful for the free movies but after going through all the Free Movies/TV Shows pressing the Hearts to Save to WishList, I get to my WishList and only a few are on the list. Why? I go back to the items, even play them and the hearts are shaded but yet not in the List at all. Can you please fix this? Oh and some movies are not even playable like The Chauffeur and The Tutor. I don’t get it. Please change this! I am eternally grateful for this amazing app and hope there is a deal to purchase monthly instead of individual movies too. Mahalo Plenny🤙🏾❤️💜

    (08Jan21) 4k playback is now enabled. 5 atars again. (30Nov2020) Now a 2 star review. The new Chromecast with Google TV has been out 2 months and this app is still not compliant. Currently (06Nov2020) does not detect 4k output on the new Google TV streaming stick. Everything shows up as HDX. Movies Anywhere detects properly so I am watching my library there. But we all know some film studios won't use MA so I am locked out of 4k on about 40 movies in my digital library, on this device.

    Vudu is one of those sights I go to all the time! What is so great about it is that you can connect with other sights to watch your movies. Not only that but, when I die, sorry for being morbid, I pass this account to my daughter. She can at least remember me by the taste my movies and enjoy some we bonded together. It's almost like leaving a legacy!

    I like Vudu’s service and massive menu of movies to buy or rent, but the format could use some work, and there is a bug. I’ll leave a review about this problem and maybe you’ll fix a bug that has existed on the AppleTV app for a long time. When I scroll slowly down through my movies, I make it to about 25% and the view jumps almost to the end of my library. If I scroll back up, it goes about 25% of the way then jumps to the beginning of the library. To pick a movie I usually scroll the menu in my iPad, pick one, then I search for it it the Search window on my AppleTV. That works, but I’d rather do a leisurely scroll to choose what I want to watch.

    I enjoy having a personal online library that I can watch at any time. My only issue is that when I purchased some movies they were not available in UHD and now I have to purchase upgrades to enjoy movies I already own. When a customer invests thousands of dollars in a service, they should upgrade your movie collection automatically. I love this service that holds my library for free, but having to repurchase movies sucks.

    Please make list or at least currently watched episodes at the top of the page. Everytime I want to watch the office, I have to access the side bar, scroll down to watch list, open series, choose season and the find episode. Too many steps to take just to continue where I left off.

    Great but the company is stingy AF I rented a movie (still in theaters online) and there's 20 min left and it stops playing. So when they say you have a time limit to watch it they mean it. If your movie is longer than the time remaining on the rent clock you won't get to finish it. They should have it to where if you are currently watching it it keeps playing until the end of the movie. If you exit it then your out of time. Don't just say " they lived happ......." too bad you're out of time.

    When I was getting some entertainment apps I saw this app and I was like WOW it says that’s all of the movies are free so like I got it and I put in my email and everything but when I got the email it said to press a button saying start watching so I press that and I click on a movie and I’m like woohoo!!! Free movies!!! And when I see the payment button I’m so mad because in the description it said all of the movies on us! Watch all you want so I think you lied to all of us thanks. So I’m just not trying to be mean or anything this is my opinion I don’t like to pay for things okay. PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE YOU GET THE APP AND YOU DO NOT WANT TO PAY MONEY!

    Be careful purchasing movies on Vudu they will take the movies off your account. You'll purchase a movie, get an email with the receipt for it, but when you go back to confront them about taking it off they'll ask for proof of purchase and that there records show that you didn't purchase the movie, the email will be gone and your proof is gone.

    I have used this app for awhile now. (It’s also built into my TV) I have purchased several movies as well as watched several of the free ones as well. I spent a dumb amount on the Incredibles 1 & 2 bundle package for my kids. Started our marathon. First plays fine, second attempts to load and immediately goes to the end like we watched in a matter of 2 seconds. I email tech support asking for assistance, I get a response 24 hours later advising to run a network test and to uninstall and reinstall the app. The app is BUILT INTO MY TV. I picked a different movie and it played fine. Their advice ... run the network test and advise of my IP address and the test results. Just think as tech support the power cycle/network blame game is over played. And truly I believe they didn’t even read my full email. Guess there goes the $35 I paid for 2 movies
