    I was with the original app before moving over to the new. I love the direction you guy are going and improving. I will say I’m disappointed there is not a widget out for the new app and I’ve realized how convenient and how much I’d rely on a simple picture with the funds I have in my account. It’s become a pain swiping to the Home Screen that has the folder with all my banking apps and then swiping again to open up Varo. The old app had it so when will this become available? Also still live the idea of customizable card are even a metal one😜 other then that the other major cons is practically no one supports Varo not even cash app, I was even having problems buying online from Joann’s craft store and had to use a who different payment method all together because they just didn’t support Varo yet. So still have a ways to go but so far I’ve had nothing but good things with Varo and the saving is a nice thing to have with its little features like save my change. I go into app with a little surprise waiting for me because it really does add up! Keep it up guys!

    While I have had some issue with a couple of procedures, so far its been acceptable, so far. The way in which they went about moving me over to Varo Bank from the initial service was more than a little concerning. Attempted to g in to Varo Money, and the next thing they tell me that they are sending me a new debit, and that they were a bank now, and, gee, isnt that great? But, no notice beforehand that whatever funds with them would be locked until it arrived.

    This app and the website are very slick. Something I would like to see on the app is how on the website the debits and credits are separated by date. This makes it easier to view transactions but on the phone app everything blends in together. Also, need to be able to link Plaid to Varo through other apps. Now that Varo is a “real” FDIC insured bank there should be some type of bill pay, checks, and maybe credit cards. But all in due time.

    The app is great. The UI is slightly different but the UX is basically the same. The new card has the really fast "tap pay" option which is good. I just have one complaint: the notification that comes in when you make a purchase no longer says the remaining balance. It was really convenient to see what my remaining balance was without having to go log in to the app. It saves alot of time and keeps me aware. I'm not sure why it was removed, but I would like that feature to be brought back.

    The one thing I really hate about this bank is using it at hotels. I frequent hotels & Varo holds right to your deposit for 14 full BUSINESS days, even tho the hotel releases it. Trust me, do not use this card at hotels. YOU CAN CALL THEM & send a receipt but they act like they are doing you a favor or lending you money. One supervisor even tampered with my account because he was mad I proved him wrong. I came here after Chime’s big malfunction last year, but I’m having second thoughts. Chime also offers a credit line & higher overdraft now. I hope Varo proves me wrong.

    They never sent me a debit card so I have my money is in limbo. I have ordered it multiple times through the app, phone calls and emails but none have arrived. I have checked my address each time and it has always been correct. With out the debit card you literally can't do anything and can even use all the call service options. This is the worst bank I've ever worked with! Highly recommend to avoid the hassle and headaches this bank causes.

    You are a lying sack of dog crap. everyone got paid except me and yet you here saying that I get paid two days early. when are you gonna understand that you online banks are not good without the 2 day early feature. If I wanted to get my money on the payday I would have left it at Bank of America. The point of switching to varo was the two days early feature. I will be changing my direct deposit back to Bank of America and closing my varo account. You have no ATMS no branches no way to deposit cash. Without that get paid feature you’re useless to me. If I’m not gonna get my money early then I rather keep it with Bank of America. Adios varo

    The new Varo app is nice, but it feels like a beta. It's really buggy. My instant deposits from the cash app take over 3 hours to be available even though I chose the instant deposit. This is also like the 8th time that I can't log into my account. I keep getting some error message saying "HTTP 401". And no I'm not a beta tester. The previous app worked alot better. Like I said, I love Varo, I just wish they would fix these issues. Thank you.

    I rather 100% have the old app back and all the notifications that was with it as a customer below also commented that you took the notification away were it tells the balance thats in ur account and varos reply we love hearing from customers and look forward to bringing new features to us that was no new feature that ur company varo took from us customers and that your switch didn't bring none of my previous transactions with it nor no statements and all that why should we as customers use it

    I cannot figure out if this is a banking account or the checking account that’s described on the website. I want the checking account but see nowhere to set up bill pay. It only shows balances, transfers to external accounts, direct deposit information but nothing about this being a checking account. Is there another App maybe? I’m excited to use it, however, I’m completely confused.

    Surely it requires many, many moons, to put this all in gear without an obvious error in breaking a tooth off, but personally my ears have not heard this awful failure in structure! Amazing structure, on point professional organization! It's nice at my age to have Varo on my six in this field where others are making changes, yet not seen by new customers!     It makes for good happy time and make money look very cherished at dinner time with family. When you feeling like you need to visit grandma you just check balance and she will give you candy for the baby. My balance is very lofty and the floor is very smooth access to bank in the app of the phone.

    I got the new app and all it dose it open every 5 to 10 seconds even installed and it makes my google play pop up every 5 to 10 sec i cant do nothing on my phone with out this popping up..... Update stupied me....i found the problem its not the app i have a card hold on the back of my phone and my varo card was in the card hold and my phone was scanning my card....i hope if anyone else has this problem this helps... The app is great now that i found the problem😁😁😁

    So far so good. Was a little off at first bc the original was working well. Got my new card earlier today (11/23/20), about 2 hours before my big transaction & it worked out & i love the no contact payment. Nice work Varo. Customer as long as no fees. Love ya!!!

    This app was great back when I used to get my deposits about two days early. But for some reason the decided to stop that. It’s also horrible about passwords. It never remembers them correctly, so I have to keep resetting it when wanting to log into the website. I rarely have this problem with any other apps or websites.

    Literally tried this bank because my best friend said it was so.. awesome okay, deposits direct deposit and monies of all sort. Can’t use my card, customer service reps over talk you constantly. As of now I’m writing this review and my card is locked and being declined although I have money in the account, smh not my cup of tea.

    I’ve had a decent experience with Varo. My only complaint is Face ID almost never scans my for my face automatically. I almost always have to press the the Face ID button to initiate it myself. First world problems most definitely but it’s super annoying. Please fix.

    I’m certain they don’t ask everyone for proof of address. My address is on my identification that’s all the proof they need. Deleting this app they can cancel my application I don’t tolerate being asked for more information than everyone else. Update: reply to developer response: wrong answer buddy. Either ask every single member for that information or ask no one for that information end of story.

    No idea, the app will not take a photo of my ID. I've tried both the auto and manual options, but it stares at my ID for 5 mins then says "capture failed". I would love to try this bank because of all of the good reviews. If some how I figure out what is wrong, I'll edit my review.
