Its one of the better "escape room" adventures. However it would be helpful so see how much energy I have left displayed somewhere on the play screen. Also its kinda sux that I run out of energy. You get on a roll and boom no energy. I get that is how you get people to buy stuff, but others games they live the money make to the purchase of hints. Losing energy take the fun out of the game.

Games in Unsolved are old games which you can download trial versions or purchase full games for. There is no customizable difficulty setting. It’s nice that there’s a collection all in one app, but the energy system is confusing and lacking. You can run out of energy and lose your entire train of thought and also not get much gameplay. My suggestion to Mundi would be to make the breakdown by chapter instead of by energy. Everything costs energy. Hints, clicking and object to pick it up, etc. only way to tell how much energy an action cost is after the action by comparing how much energy you had before and after the action. also I bought a starter pack that said it unlocked all 600 chapters. I have no idea what that means because the energy still ran out so unlocking doesn’t mean you get enough energy to finish a game. I am a fan of Mundi games and have played the full version of some of these games through separate purchases. However, I think Mundi screwed up here on energy. One of the other hidden object and puzzle developers haiku games has a better model in their AE mysteries app which limits you to 2 chapters of play before you have to wait to gain more keys to unlock chapters. AE does have ads though when chapters are loading and Unsolved does not. Another suggestion to have clean stopping points like the trial version of Mundi games

Game is fun and you can choose different "stories" with interesting story line but it requires energy for everything. Energy doesn't last long nor does it refill quickly (ie my energy wasn't full after I woke up). Pretty much have to pay to play for a decent amount of play time which I won't do. I'll finish the one story I started and uninstall.
  • The energy is an issue Feb 1, 2021

Just like everyone else, I feel this game is amazing but the energy is the issue. The graphics, stories, puzzles, and adventures, all top notch. However to play you have to use energy. Every action in the game uses an insane amount. For example each item found in the hidden object games is 5 points. It takes about 5 min for one point to regenerate and the game only gives you a free 20 per 24 hours, or 100 for competing a story other than that. This 20 is enough to maybe do 2 puzzles if that. If you need a hint that’s 10 points gone. It’s pretty expensive to buy the points as 600 is $5 and it goes very fast. There are also some glitches here and there where it’ll use the energy but not perform the action. Like some others have said, I would be willing to watch ads all day to earn points but that’s not an option at all. They need to do something about this because I refuse to spend anymore money on this game.

  • I like it, but... Nov 27, 2020

I really like this game a lot. You get a lot of play when your energy is up until it runs out, and it really makes you think to finish the levels. My only suggestion would be ways of getting more energy for free without having to wait all day, besides the one +20/day. Perhaps having us watch ads to get more energy? Or a version of the game where i can just buy it and play without having to worry about energy? Also it takes so long for the energy to refill, and I can’t afford to pay to fill it up by paying as many times as I want to play a day. As someone who needs something to do while nursing a baby, I wish I could play this more, but alas, I would be broke if I tried to play as much as I want.

This is addicting and enjoyable. The puzzles are a great challenge, too. My only issue is the energy. It's impossible to tell what actions take your energy away while on a case, and it refills so slow. I feel like 8 hours should be more than enough time for me to have full energy again. It takes away from the game.

If you really can’t afford to buy the full games it’s a fantastic way to play them. Personally I started with a game I’ve already played just to feel out any differences. While the energy is annoying, you’re not missing any of the game all for free with the only price of time. I will also say this is a great way to check out if you are fans of their games without paying to see. I could be incorrect but I don’t believe all of their titles (even the ones available on the phone), so again it’s a good way to put your toes in the water for free. It’s a great marketing plan. Also, if you like these games and you own a switch they have them on sale for $1.50 all the time.

  • Good game, except for the energy Jan 25, 2021

    By Ozian Magpie14
I really like this game. It’s fun, challenging without it being impossible, and has many different scenarios to choose from. However, my biggest complaint is the energy. The ratio between gaining energy and using energy is really off balance. It just takes way too long to fill up on energy for the amount of energy any one action. It takes way too long to get free energy that is only 20 bolts and if you want more you have to pay for it. I think either there should be more options available for free energy or you can earn energy after completing objectives.

You start playing with in 5 to 10 min you run out of energy. You run out of energy way to fast. It should only take energy once to open a door to a room. I think that would be better.
  • Energy Apr 18, 2021

    By BooBaeeBee
Okay, so I would like to start off by saying this is an enjoyable game and I believe it is made well, that’s why it got two stars instead of one from me. But energy depletes so fast and you have to wait so long for it to reload. you get a free 20 energy every few hours but when I reloaded it I literally got to play for an additional minute due to collecting items. In my opinion it just takes away so much from the game to only be able to play for a few minutes at a time. Even if they added an option where you can watch ads to get energy would be much better than what they have going on now. I’m just frustrated and would like to play for hours and hours but i’m not able to do that so if that doesn’t bother you then you’ll enjoy it.
  • Not worth it, Fun but energy use is frustrating Dec 2, 2020

    By Ali in 1derland
The game is very fun and enjoyable but the energy goes fast it’s about 5 energy for every object found and then the energy takes too long to come back. Can’t get through one story without running out of energy in 30 minutes. By the time the energy refills you lose the story and where your progress is. You can buy energy but even that goes by fast. Money hungry app. Update: It takes more than one day for energy to fill all the way back up. I deleted it. Literally every object you find, every hint you use, every thing but going from one scene to another uses 5 energy or more. Not worth my time or money waiting for energy or to buy it. $5 for 600 energy that won’t even last you an hour or two.
  • Fun game but.... Feb 6, 2021

    By Hexxx13
Let me preface this by saying how much fun this game is. It’s only problem (and it’s a big problem) is it’s use of “energy”. This is what you need to keep advancing in the game. I play other mobile games with a similar system, but those games refill within an hour or so. Not this one. And because of this, you can only play a short time once each day until it all runs out. And it runs out VERY quickly. If you’d like to refill your energy, you have to pay for it. I would rather them let you buy the game outright from the beginning instead of having to pay increasing amounts of money each time you’d like to play longer than ten minutes. That’s why I give this game a one star rating. Simply because it doesn’t actually let you play it.
  • Nov 23, 2021

    By Malia Cicconetti
It would be 5 star if actions/taps didn't cost so much energy. Matter of fact I've yet to figure out how much each action actually costs. Mini games should be a flat energy cost not every tap, drives me nuts running out of energy in the middle of them. At least one of the achievements normally has to do with time on the mini game.

I have had 2 bugs in 2 separate episodes that have made it so that I cannot move forward. I was playing the Forsaken Bride and it got to a certain part and it is frozen to that screen. Nothing I do will allow me to move forward. I have closed the game, I have restarted my phone, all to no avail. So I started playing Mist of Ravenwood. There is supposed to be a 3rd piece of a lock in a drawer but i can no longer click on the drawer to get the piece out. So once again, I’m unable to move forward. Conveniently, both of these glitches occurred after I spent $20 for the week of extra energy. Otherwise, I have loved the game… never had these issues until I spent money. Quite disappointed right now.

**Update** DON'T BOTHER. I changed my review from 3 to 1. The energy problem is still there. Regeneration is a joke. After the initial amount of keys you start with after downloading the game, they run out. The ONLY way to get more is to buy with real money. No way to watch ads to earn more. Not happening.
  • Stories keep breaking Apr 8, 2021

    By KayleyMB
I swear, I’ve completed almost all the stories and bonus chapters available on the app. I invest a lot of time on the game checking back to use what energy I have built up, and succumbing a few times buying energy. I have two games that are completely frozen, I can’t finish a hidden object scene as one object glitched, and I can’t continue another game as I’m stuck at the end of a puzzle cutscene. I love playing these interactive hidden objects, but it’s really disappointing I’ve put my time waiting to play and I can’t do anything in the game at all. Hints don’t help, deleting and redone loading game doesn’t help, restarting app doesn’t help, please someone help!!

The game is fun if you could play it. It requires so much energy to do each activity. Certain activities like the find everything on the list game require energy for every thing you find. There is no way to earn energy so you must pay if you want to play any length of time.

I absolutely love this game! I can’t wait for more stories to be released (hopefully it’s soon), each story is so in depth and interesting… it keeps you coming back for more! Just the right amount of challenging to keep you thinking but not impossible that you can’t have fun. So many different types of puzzles you play throughout each story whether it be find the difference, hidden object, and SOOO many more. Definitely a must have game, you won’t regret it!!!

my only issue is the ABSOLUTE waste the energy is. you have to wait literally a full day for even half of it to replenish, and you only get 20 free a day. i’ve spent some cash on it because i absolutely love these types of games, but it’s insane how much it expects you to do that. i want to play way more but i’m not draining my bank for it. maybe put incentive rewards for achievements that are like.... energy or experience points, and maybe certain cutscenes grant you energy? level based systems maybe, so when you level up you gain energy??? idk.
  • Great game but the cost is steep Jul 14, 2021

    By 985426m34e
I love a good mystery puzzle, hidden object game. This is one of my favorites by far but the cost for energy is high and it doesn’t take you very far. Because of that I’d rather play for free for a short amount of time that the energy will get you. The good news is that this developer does have games to buy in full that I have been enjoying. I do appreciate that I can download additional games once I’ve finished one within the same app but I wish I could pay a set price to unlock the entire chapter.

    By Cocopuff017
I love this app. I love the fact I can play hidden object games that you usually have to pay, for free. However, in the maps, the icon to let it know where there is a section where there is something for you to do is gone. I don't know if they take it out because the game is free or not, but they should keep that part in. It keeps the game play more smoother and you don't have start wondering which room was it that this piece connects to or which room am I missing.
  • Addicting but short play time May 14, 2021

    By danitell0
I love this game so much! I do think the play time is really short though. I feel like a lot of energy is used when doing things, so i never really get to do a lot. I would say either make it so that it uses less energy to do things or add more ways to earn energy for free. I feel like the 20 extra energy doesn’t really do anything, so even increasing that would help. This game has everything that I’d want in a mystery game though, so good job!!!

It's a fun game, but the fact that almost every action you take requires energy is ridiculous. It's fine for certain aspects, but I shouldn't have to spend energy to select an item when I'm trying to find something.
  • Fun, but... Apr 9, 2021

    By Lynjoy6
I am enjoying playing the game, however there a couple of things I really don't like at all. First, Everytime I open the game I have to go into settings and readjust my sound preferences. If you could make it so that the game saved those preferences, it would be much better. Secondly, the energy runs out way to fast, and there is no way to earn it other than through purchase or waiting. Most other games of this type that I play have an add watching option to earn more energy, that would be nice in this game as well. I enjoy playing but if it takes longer to refill energy than my interest in the game, then I won't be playing long term... Thank you for taking the time to consider my suggestions for the game.

I like the game and yeah I can see why you use so many ads so you can get paid, however there so many ads that it distracts from what you are doing and does nothing but eat up my data minutes. Which is a very limited amount that I can only play a couple of days and then I can't play it again until the next month after the tiny SS cheque. Nobody believes when I tell the amount we get that 2 people in this household have to live on, so why should you be any different.

You start playing with in 5 to 10 min you run out of energy. You run out of energy way to fast. It should only take energy once to open a door to a room. I think that would be better.

This game is fun but you run out of energy too fast and then have to buy energy or wait hours for it to fill up.

The game is fun if you could play it. It requires so much energy to do each activity. Certain activities like the find everything on the list game require energy for every thing you find. There is no way to earn energy so you must pay if you want to play any length of time.
  • Fun game but.... Feb 6, 2021
