    Was hesitant to "upgrade" based on the prior reviews, but I didn't have any trouble re-enrolling. It was helpful to have this morning's email and know what to expect. Use your savings account number, not your checking account number (i.e., drop the "1800"). I used an 8-character password with numbers, letters, and special characters (calculated "very strong" at 98%), and that worked. I'm concerned about the security of being able to see so much before you log in - might disable that feature.

    The ability to do my banking by mobile means is paramount to my personal and business activities. The former UFCU app got me by but its central downfall was that I could only access one account with it so I could either see my business or my personal account but not both. While this new app brings some nice updates like auto fill of a mobile deposit amount, I can still only access one account. I kept the old app for my business account and use this new one for my personal account. I guess if I ever get more accounts like for the kids that I’ll just be stuck with using the laptop to care for those accounts. Not being able to access multiple accounts is a killjoy.

    This app doesn’t work. You are required to enroll with this new UFCU app. After you enter your account number and last name, the app states that it will send you a temporary password so you can log in. However, after over 10-15 attempts to enroll, now temporary password was ever sent. It’s been 3 weeks since I’ve been able to access my accounts from my mobile device, which surprisingly is a bigger inconvenience than I would have thought.

    Password creation is very buggy. It specifies 8-40 chars, alphanumeric, and strength of Good or better. Unclear if special chars allowed. Rejected several 24 char alphanumeric (only) passwords, with no detail why beyond "invalid password". It would finally allow creation of ONLY a very short password with "Good" strength (would not allow any higher strength). Basically, it would only allow me to create a very short, easily cracked password. Not ideal for a banking app.

    I was feeling nervous after reading the other reviews, but I think they may be confused. It seems to have all the same functionality as before with added features depending on your preferences. Ex. It prompted me right away if I wanted to be able to glance my balances without having to log in which is is a great option to have at times. Also, the new UI looks great, a lot more modern and fresh. I was able to use my old login after I re-enrolled. I haven't tried to deposit yet which is mainly what I use the mobile app for so I will update accordingly if I have any issues there. (Note: I do not work for UFCU. Just a regular member expressing my honest opinion.)

    I just downloaded this app and I have to say I prefer the old one both aesthetically and functionally. I’ve been unable to use the mobile check deposit on this app because it will not accept my photo after multiple tries. I followed all the instructions and took the photo in the same room on the same surface under the same light that I’ve been using for years on the old app.

    None of the buttons on the very first screen you see work. Tried clicking enroll, and a loading circle shows up, but then it just goes away without doing anything. All of the other buttons do the same thing. Tried to click the contact buttons and nothing happened. I uninstalled and re downloaded the app, but it didn't help. Kind of hard to use an app when you can't even get passed the first screen.

    No multi-account access, a dated design that looks like it's from the early 2010s, and no Single Sign On that allows you to use the same credentials as online banking, I'm very disappointed with this app after many years of waiting for a modern mobile banking experience. Unfortunately to me mobile check deposit is the only advantage that the app has over Online Banking, but again this feature existed in the legacy app. Accessing mobile banking through the browser on my phone is much better.

    First off, I don’t Yelp! & this is the first negative online review I’ve ever written regarding any dissatisfaction I’ve had with any businesses. I’ve been with UFCU forever & I used their (old) app for all of my simple banking needs ever since I got my first smartphone. Well, for WAY TOO LONG NOW, I’ve had to drive to the ATM about 4 miles from my house for even something as simple as a balance inquiry. Every time I TRY to go through the maze of bull$h!t that is required to use their stupid & AWFUL new app, I give up out of frustration within 10 minutes. THIS IS HOW YOU LOSE LOYAL CUSTOMERS & start that ball rolling downhill. The big chain banks look a little more appealing with each failed attempt I have at using the new app. I give it another month before I take my business elsewhere if they don’t bring back the old app, which is the general consensus of EVERYONE I’ve talked with this about.

    Useless when you need 2 devices to enroll! When trying to retrieve password from email and go back to the app. You have to go through the same process and it send you a new temp password. It's a constant repeat. Fix your login issues first. There's no reason why I would need 2 different devices juat to enroll.

    Love the new app. It's sleek, simple, but does not lack any of the previous functionality from the old app. The enrollment process was nearly flawless, though I was disappointed to see the "emails being sent to spam" issue is still present. Please look into your email authentication process. Look at your SPF/DKIM/DMARC setups. If you have a 3rd party vendor sending email on your behalf, ensure their mail server IP is added to your domain SPF. Good place to start...

    So good! Just installed today. The last one just died a month ago. No real fix, but this one is a complete overhaul. You need to sign up all over again and can use your same usr/pswrd. But it seems to be solid, quick responses. I like the quick view before you even log in. Nice touch.

    After using it the first time it's great! Happy to see better UI in place compared to the legacy app, but there's room for improvement. I use this app specifically to do mobile deposit.

    I have mixed feelings about this new app. It is a little harsh to look at color-wise (I really liked the other app’s colors!!) and I miss the little incoming/outgoing graph but I really do like the quick view of the balances without logging in and the running balance-showing the balance after each entry. I haven’t used any of the new features yet, but I am hopeful!

    The only thing that was confusing is that you need to remove the 1800 from your account number when first enrolling. Otherwise, I just followed the steps provided and didn't have any issues. Everything works the same as the previous app UFCU had.

    I have used the former app but found it did not work so I downloaded the new one. I could not use my existing password so I enrolled again. Your instructions need to be clear that if you are upgrading to the new app you need to enroll. The server did not send me a temp password. Had to call UFCU for help. They couldn’t figure it out. I had already checked spam. They advised to delete app and download. I did. Went thru all the steps again. Still did not get temp password. The problem turned out to be that it took 20 min or more to get the temp password. This was not during the time that maintenance was being performed. But it made me think the app didn’t work. You need better instructions on the app and also improve server response time.

    I could not find a way to login with a four digit PIN as I did on old app. I agree with other reviews that it is just as easy, or not any more difficult, to sign in with browser. Disappointed in change after six years of having the luxury of using the legacy version.

    The initial enrollment was painful. The account number is not your checking account number. Remove the preceding 1800. If your password is "very strong", it won't be accepted. I had to downgrade to a less secure password for it to be accepted. The UI and UX of the app itself is okay.

    First, I had to call to register - somehow, there are delays with getting their registration emails to yahoo email. UFCU needs to fix this - I have no problem with any other company or app to use yahoo mail. (The person at UFCU was very helpful) Mobile deposits are clunky - previously any deposits were pretty much immediate. My first deposit on new app shows “pending”...only $70 deposit. And having to add more info on back of check than my signature? Silly. Not impressive nor an upgrade so far... Can read account

    I don’t usually leave reviews on anything but I feel very strongly about this new app. First of all it caught me by surprise and when I downloaded it it didn’t accept the same log in information. Second, the visual are glitched and cut off which take away from easy navigation. Lastly, there are functions not available in this app that were available in the last one. For example, I cannot see my statement balance on my credit card and instead of choosing to pay my card I have to transfer funds which had me confused at first on whether or not I was actually paying my card. I much rather prefer the old app and I thought it had great functionalities and was more aesthetically pleasing. If you could please go back or fix all the issues with the new one.
