The dots take forever to turn green. Especially if it’s just a small paragraph. I read fast. I waste so much time sliding the screen to turn dots green Edit: apparently you can change the dots if you tap the bar. I was tapping the dot, which didn’t work. If I could use dark mode, would be 5 stars.

  • Better UI but buggy Dec 13, 2020

    By ChuckSharp
Like the UI but certain clickable areas result in a grey screen. Have to force close the app and load it again to get back where I was. The read tracking doesn’t work on some pages. Can even try manually marking all of the sections as read after going through them and yet the tracking still shows as unread. The old app would have white screens instead of grey screens but that was for certain activities that I am guessing were not compatible with the iPad. This app seems to load those fine. The grey screens in this case come after clicking on section titles or around it. Material is good but the interface is diminishing the experience.

It’s and okay app for studying. The only downsides are when I try to highlight a section, I have to re-highlight 4-5 times and click the highlight symbol about 4-5 times in order for it to finally read. I think the symbol is too small or I’m not pressing it exactly in the right square. Either way, can you make highlighting more simpler. The other thing is when I finish a lesson, it says I didn’t finish it because the green bubble is not filled all the way up. So I have to click the three dots, click unread, then click read in order for it to say I finished the lesson. The green bubble feels unnecessary when I’m studying.

I appreciate the frequent updates to this app. The initial release was not very good and I had stopped using it, but since then it has continuously improved to the point that I not only use but rely on the this app. I have not given the annotation mode another try, but aside from that I can say the overall functionality has improved as well as the was of use.

Being able to learn on the go is nice, but after being unable to complete a quiz and lab because drag and drop functionality doesn't work on mobile, I'm not 100% sure why they are even implemented. I'll still be relying my computer to finish the major portions, but the app is nice to read or review information anywhere.

Wonderful idea executed TERRIBLY. No confidence for Ucertify. For example: I have been "mastering" questions through their "test prep engine" for the IT A+ exam. After a month and a half I find out that the app doesn't sync properly so it'll erase most of my progress. There are over 400 questions and I have only seen about 20% due to this. "How can you improve your skills if you keep seeing the same questions over and over like you're stuck in the Twilight Zone?" -- you say? YOU CAN'T!

I just started using this app and already have run into glitches. "Click to drag the project phases in the correct order". The items are not dragable on mobile, instead they attempted to just make it so you can tap them in the correct order. Only problem is that when you tap an item, the DOM response is always one step behind the last action. Ironic that I am trying to learn UI design on a broken UI.

  • Still not really fixed Apr 8, 2021

    By Popoppooo
I wrote a negative review recently and a dev responded that it has been fixed with the new update. I installed the new update, but when taking a test, the main bar still drops down and hides when I try to click the “submit” button. It’s easier to pull it back up now, which is good. But the hiding the bar when I’m trying to click submit is still really frustrating. I’d recommend making it so that the hide function is only possible if it’s attempted in the middle of the bar, where the white line is. You shouldn’t be able to hide the bar by dragging or tapping on the right side where the submit button is.

I honestly think this is just another skin with the more or less outdated features. My biggest concern is how much information is missing from the books compared to their website. On the bright side there’s less to read right? UI and Navigation is okay. My frustrations are not towards the developers, as they “could be” recent WGU graduates and just barely hanging on to the ropes. This app just needs improvements on the basics instead of outfitting with new looks.

This app is pretty much useless for me because I can't adjust the font size and it is too much of a strain on my eyes to read the default size. I also wish that i had the option to use the web browser on my Kindle Fire HD 10 because even when I allow apps from unknown sources this app does not perform properly. It will not allow me to access the course material at all.

  • Great interactive educational tool. Feb 12, 2021

    By Ian.W123
Using it for Masters in IT Management. Test engine and dreamer are great. There could be better on-screen controls for the voiceover reader to control reading of sections and subsections the reading could stand a little review for pausing at periods, but the fact that I can have it read a page to me is awesome.

  • UCertify Learn App is great Mar 27, 2021

The latest version of UCertify Learn App works really well on my iphone 11. I use it for linking up with my college courses . The embedded videos and quizzes both work very well inside of the UCertify app. The bugs from the previous versions seems to have been fixed.

Perfect for when I’m on the go. I’ve also found it a bit more responsive than the website with some of the interactive features.

When I take practice exams the results it gives back show a breakdown of percentages for each chapter incorrectly. The results contain percentages to chapters numbered incorrectly and also out of order. I can't click on the chapters. This makes the practice exams completely unactionable. Changed to 5 stars - Technical fix worked great.

  • Great App but hoping for better reading voices Apr 10, 2021

By Bodywork & massage by jam
I wish the reading voices didn’t sound like a computer. It would be awesome if it was more like audible. It would be easier to follow. I would like to be able to listen and follow along the book on walks, runs, and doing task around the house.

Great way to read "on the go". My book opens again after the latest update and a storage reset, [BUG: it never finishes refreshing course info on first use]. It now has a "Continue where you left off" button (thanks to the devs for the prompt FR update!), though I'm not sure that it does anything as the color coding is the same whether it's selected or not. HOLs are a bit difficult to do on a mobile phone screen, but still useful. The dark mode button in settings is great for nighttime reading.

Works well, but night mode colors need fixed. It is still bright, use a different black. Also, exiting a full screen video is frustrating, I often have to exit the app and reload.

The app is okay at best. The web browser version is a ton better than this. At least in the browser it saves your progress. Occasionally everything goes blank on the app. Also, the knowledge checks/quizzes are sometimes impossible to use if you have a device that uses gesture controls at all. My advice is to use the web browser version from a pc, Mac, or Linux instead the mobile app.

Poor interface design, mostly related to questions asked in tests and at the end of pages. While taking a practice test, the bottom buttons can be minimized. This happens whenever you try to press one. Pressing one takes several attempts to register. Had to close app during a test due to an exhibit on a question not loading and preventing me from continuing.

This application is missing the crucial ability to resize text or change typeface, yet it seems that one is barred from accessing uCertify content from a mobile browser. Let me reiterate: a _reading app_ can't resize text. Why? To make matters worse, this application is forced on the user. One literally _cannot_ access uCertify content from a mobile browser where one CAN change the font size. This application is useless and kills my ability to study on the go. Please fix this!

I like the app layout, but the app fails to properly synch with course work that's already been completed. Constantly have to log onto desktop to mark assignments as completed. In addition, after app has been open, the app fails to work (app is stuck in update mode).
