They update the app every week and it never improves. There is no option to add or remove bank accounts within settings and i can't identity my accounts by their account number so i have 3-4 accounts listed and don't know which accounts they are. Simple obvious functionality is missing. There is also no way to contact customer service, not by phone, email, chat... Nothing. Pathetic

Useless, they promise you same day and deliver money in 4 days. Total waist of time. If you want to cancel the transaction it will take 5 days to get through. Even the app is showing me 19th jan receiving when its already 20th jan and still they are asking to 2 to 3 days. Really bad app better to avoid it otherwise your money would be stuck with them for atleast 5 days.

The app is not working. It says something wrong with my password so changed it but there was nothing wrong then was updating my personal details and it tells me that i already have an account and that the details been sent to my email address. The email address they talking about is not even mine. Don't even feel optimistic using it so much for a first time

It is swift, user-friendly, and currency conversion is accurate. However, although initially it was stated that the fee is around EUR 3 or so, they charged me apx. EUR 13 for a transfer from Kosovo to Poland with the claim that "the card has been issued in a country that doesn't use Euro as the main currency." Well, check your facts. Kosovo and Monteneg. are countries that have only one currency, EURO. This happened two times, December 28th and today. I'll change my review when you sort it out.

Good service, horrible app!
I spent hours over the weekend trying to add a new recipient. However the app would never accept the person’s street address. After trying 8 or 9 versions of the address, I finally closed the app and reopened and started all over (a very time consuming process). I finally was about to set up my new recipient. The next roadblock came when I tried to send money to that recipient. I already had a bank account linked to another recipient, but apparently you have to set up your own bank all over again with each new recipient. I did this. The transfer appeared to be underway, but was flagged. An email said that it “needed attention.” When I tried to go to that transfer, I got stuck in an endless merry-go-round in which it would say you must go to TransferWise online to solve the problem. When I did, it just sent me back where I started. After repeating this 5 or 6 times, I tried closing the app and reopening it to no avail: the merry-go-round continued. And of course THERE IS NO PHONE SUPPORT ON WEEKENDS, so you are completely out of luck. I still don’t know the status of my last attempted transfer. I don’t even know if the money was debited from my account or not! In the future I will be taking my money transfer business elsewhere. I would NOT recommend TransferWise to anyone. There are plenty of other services to choose from.

Scamm..total scammer

the transfer reached the recepient with 15% of the amount deducted although the app calculated the fees as 0.0062% of the amount. The recepients bank transfer shows their fees which does not count for this big percentage of deduction. I feel I was in for a theft.

Was good before. now completely useless. So sad I have to leave.I understand that the Nigerian government suspended services to naira in Nigeria but other remitting companies have come up with an alternative way (including world remit) to send money to Nigeria (in usd) .I pay people in Nigeria that work and now its inconveniencing.

No longer works
I used to have people send me money by just using my email address I used to create transferwise account. Now it asks for extra details about me, which is fine, I get it – it's probably some anti money laundering regulatory measure. However, after typing all that was requested (with email address and account number already prefilled and greyed out and masked) it fails with "value for account number invalid". That's it, you can't go ahead, because you can't edit it. I am almost sure a Dev made a rookie mistake pass the masked number with stars to validate the form instead of the actual value hidden behind it. Who tests your app, seriously? Since this is an obvious change introduced recently that you now require extra details, how did you *not* test this most basic use case? -
Some good stuff but some parts are not working
I have tried to add a recipient for the last hour. It takes the bank information for where I want to send the money and then the next page where I have to add the recipient’s address, the bank name does not transfer to the default area. It has a drop down to select arrow but the drop down does not work and it gives me a message that I need to insert the bank’s name but it will not allow access. I have tried many times and even deleted the recipient, tried adding devices, all to no avail. This app needs an update. I did not recommend at the moment. I can send money to myself or my wife but no one else. JS -
No need to lie about delivery date!
I can make an informed decision when given all of the information ahead of time. There’s no need to tell me that a certain type of deposit will be available the next day then as soon as I make the payment, inform me that it will take 4 days. It would be reasonable to ask if I’d still like to continue the transaction with the new information available-but that isn’t offered. Of course, it also wouldn’t be wise to cancel and wait 10-14 days for the money to be placed back into my account. So TW, you win this round, but you won’t get another chance to play with my money. Thanks, but no thanks! -
Can't xfer from USD within app?? Really?
I want to love TransferWise. I really do. But when I have to waste time trying to transfer from US dollars into any of three other currencies in my Borderless account, check all the FAQs, call customer support to be told "You can only do that from a desktop computer, not the app" Really?? OK let's say there's a good reason for that, some US rules. Then the app could TELL ME THAT right where I try to choose USD to fund a transfer. Instead USD just doesn't appear in the list of options and I waste my time. Other headaches, like trying to change amounts allowed to charge on date but no time now to give details. Please fix everything.
