** LOWERED MY REVIEW AFTER SEEING duplicate 5-star reviews from the same people, and I also noticed that the wording of many reviews is repeated ** The graphics are amazingly awesome. I played the Lite version on my iPad. I still don’t know how I was able to get through two of the puzzles, except that I kept guessing until I got it right. The winged lady, for example, was trial and error (positioning of the mirrors and wings). There should be some degree of logic involved. Hints that are given are not that helpful at all. I would have loved paying to finish this game, but for these reasons, I will not.

  • Thank you for Lite version Feb 25, 2017

To be 100% honest, I haven't even played it yet. But I'm just ecstatic that at least one dev out there is still making "lite" versions of their games so we can try em out. It smacks of confidence in their product. This is the way to keep premium gaming alive!!

The biggest appeal of Tormentum is definitely its visuals. You are presented with very a very stylish, dark fantasy game that should look amazing on iPad - it's pretty awesome on iPhone too. Puzzles are on the standard side, unlocking-door, collecting-item sort of things. So yeah, grab the full version if this demo attracts you. It'd be nice if the game lets you save some backgrounds to use as wallpapers though.

After playing with the lite version I decided to purchase full version. I really enjoyed the puzzles, since there were no too simple nor hard to solve. A good game with excellent graphics for spend some hours.

I’ve been playing the free part just because I know once I play the full version it will come to an end and I’m not ready for that yet. Sounds strange I know. But if the rest of the game is as good as the beginning I know I won’t be disappointed.

  1. A richly illustrated Point-and-Click horror game inspired by the works of painters H.R. Giger and Zdzisław Beksiński
  2. "...You'll be hard pressed to find a game as stunningly dark as this. " - GrabIt Magazine
  3. Make your choices carefully! Your decisions, wise or not, are what determines the outcome of the game

  • Finally, a great point and click adventure game! May 31, 2016

This game is very impressive both visually and in terms of gameplay. Reminds me of the old point & clicks that I grew up with. You can tell the developers have put a lot of effort into this. Highly recommended!

  • Atmospheric, dark adventure. Jun 18, 2016

    By SmartieGurl97
There is not a lot of adventure games in App Store similar to Tormentum. It´s dark, very dark. I like the visual style which together with music and story keeps you playing this atmospheric adventure till the end. I´ll definitively go for full version.

  • Tormented Journey😮 Sep 15, 2016

Beautiful game/graphics and very fun!! The story is interesting, no ads, flows well, challenge is to find items &/ clues to solve problems, but clicking on the wooden boards on a wall was too easy; needs a hammer and also other different tools for throughout game. Is Tormentum even a word?

Although I haven't gone too much into the storyline, the game itself is so smooth and graphically appealing for a mobile game. Interesting concept

Nice escape-the-room style RPG with cool parallax effect to make finding things a little more of a challenge. Solid art, kind of weak writing (translation?).
