This dark and beautiful point and click puzzle game is truly one of the best games on the App Store. It's stimulating, addictive and makes you think. The music is awesome and some times creepy. It makes the game better. The two endings add to the replay value. The interesting and abstract characters make you ponder and sometimes laugh. The choices you make are crucial and sometimes you won't know what to do. If you get stuck, that's ok, it's meant to happen, but there is always a way. Just make sure you look everywhere, if you miss one thing or don't complete one puzzle you can't finish the game. If you don't like how it turns out, just do it again. If you have no clue what you're doing and it's your first time going through you might get stuck and it might take hours (which isn't a bad thing at all!), but if you've been through it and know what you're doing it'll take 20mins tops. Get this game. All other bad reviews on this game are about bugs and stuff or they get stuck and "can't do it". There are no bugs, trust me, if it happens it's not the game, it's your phone/tablet/etc. Just push through and if all else fails, there are walkthroughs online.

Edit: just finished the game and wow. This is far and above just more meaningful than pretty much ever other game I’ve played on iPhone. Even though it’s shorter than a traditional console game, this deserves to be on the level with one of them. It is a game that is going to stay with me for a long, long time. I saw no translation issues either. Some of the lines are spoken or written in riddles deliberately. This game is amazing and of the quality that I wish I saw more of in a mobile game. Great interpretation of Giger’s art. It’s definitely grotesque and at times disturbing, but nothing scary per se. It adds to the story and beauty of it actually. More thoughtful and meaningful than anything. The scenes are so intricate I found myself just staring at the them and zooming in for detail. I definitely want some high quality art from this game. Bravo, guys. Not for young kids for sure. The plot is poignant and there are some themes of mythology/religion enough to give it deeper meaning without beating you over the head with it. I want to learn more about this world. 1000% would buy another game from these guys.

I'd recommend this to anyone who likes mature adventure/puzzle games. The puzzles difficulty, though not too easy, they're not too cryptic either (in my opinion.) I also liked the design choice of having to tap the screen to advance dialogue, thus ensuring the player doesn't miss anything that might be important. 5 stars.

What an ending! But I will not spoil that, just keep in mind that while you are indeed playing a game, you are also being judged on your actions. With that being said, here is what I thought of the game: Incredibly amazing. This is definitely a horror game, so do not play if you don't like what you see in the preview. Every scene is creepy and grotesque. But it's not actually a scary game. The puzzles are not too frequent and not too hard, but the the game is so immersive you don't need an immediate puzzle all the time. There is always a task going on for you to figure out. And not to mention the overall task, which is unknown to you. That made the game interesting, as I knew that it was all going to lead somewhere eventually, and it was fun just being in the moment. I would definitely recommend this game if you don't mind the look of it. It is an incredibly unique concept and look. It was also longer than I expected. Well worth the $5.

Strange and eery. Definitely made my Google play pass gather some value. The story overall was pretty interesting and the art was weird and creepy. The puzzles were not difficult, but not too basic. It didn't take long to finish, but it was about the right length for what it set out to do. Could have been a bit longer and had more puzzles.

  • Good game ... at first Oct 19, 2019

Paid full price for the game mainly for the beautiful graphics and artwork, which I have weakness for. The game was good at first, just the right level of challenge for me without being impossible, the storyline was engaging (for me anyways, I know other commenters have disagreed). All was well at first ... until I got to the part where you have to give three gold coins to the woman with the baby in order to enter the wastelands. I had two emerald tears and the woman was supposed to give me the third one after I gave her the coins. After I did that ... nothing happened. No third emerald tear. I have consulted walkthroughs and am positive I didn’t make a mistake, so this glitch is preventing me from continuing. I want my money back!

My husband and I played this game and we both really, really enjoyed it!!!!!! He played about 20 times! I really don't know how anyone can say it's a bad game, honestly! I just know I gave 5 stars last review....this game deserves 25 stars!!!! I am not kidding, it really does!! Sure, it's a dark game but it's done beautifully. The graphics are simply amazing. The story, well, that depends on your choices as you go along! And talk about bang for your buck.....this is a long game. You get your money's worth. My husband loved it so much he has played it over 30 times now! Guys do you think you could ever make us another wonderful game like this one, please, please, please? You already have 2 customers!!!! You guys are GREAT!!!!!!!!

Addictive game. Felt way too short (or perhaps I was playing for a long time). Anyway, what bothered me the most was the ending.. I even completed the game twice to get both endings (good and bad) but I was pretty unhappy on how you don't feel like it was worth to repeat the whole game the second time, just to have a different music and destiny.. But overall very good. I would add just more levels or at least something after we ascend or get cast into hell

Great art style and soundtrack. Awesome gameplay mechanics for point and click. No annoying menus or item selections that don't work. Difficulty is 2/10 because everything easy to find and logic is very easy. Not a lot of lateral use for items which is good in my opinion.

  • Shocked ending May 7, 2020

    By Jbrad2
I have played many puzzle games and thought this one no different. I figured out the puzzles and went forward driven to make it through as fast as I can. That is the way I usually play. But, when I got to the end and discovered the real truth of the game I felt horrified at myself. It made me take a long, hard and honest look at myself. This truly showed me what I was made of. And I was not pleased. I think I will change things and hope it is not too late. Play it now!

You guys did very well on the graphics! It was like i went into something twisted between history, and fantasy. Very darkly. I liked it (shame on me). The reason it's not five stars is the ending wasn't quite the way I would imagine it although I've read there's two parts. I got the good one first time. And the arrows moving between locations kept disappearing and i often found myself confused because of that. On mobile it's very small I suggest you to enlarge it or change its color more intense

What I seen of it was gorgeous. With that being said, I never made it out of the first castle. The "hints" are not explained, sequences are unclear, and it boils down to you going from room to room aimlessly clicking everywhere. Doing that helped but if thats what I'm in for the whole game I'd rather not put the time into it to see the rest of it. Also, there's no indication on what your actions are gonna result in. I'm not going to go to the internet for every puzzle either.

It's a beautiful looking game, but it's fun for about 20 minutes then it's just repetitive. I'm not a fan of going from one end of the game to another to get something, then going all the back. Just to then have to go back to the other side of the fricken game.

3,5 ☆s for Graphics | I remember starting this game when it was Free, but stopped back then when I had to pay. | Tried it again since it was under Play Pass, yet then as I played, I remembered the true reasons why I had quit before: ● No Clues 》 To help discover what area to look at next | ● No Hints | ● Side Games not Challenging Enough | ● Side Games give no ideas of where or what to look at next | ● Monotonous Clicking vs Detective Work to Discover Anything New.
