This dark and beautiful point and click puzzle game is truly one of the best games on the App Store. It's stimulating, addictive and makes you think. The music is awesome and some times creepy. It makes the game better. The two endings add to the replay value. The interesting and abstract characters make you ponder and sometimes laugh. The choices you make are crucial and sometimes you won't know what to do. If you get stuck, that's ok, it's meant to happen, but there is always a way. Just make sure you look everywhere, if you miss one thing or don't complete one puzzle you can't finish the game. If you don't like how it turns out, just do it again. If you have no clue what you're doing and it's your first time going through you might get stuck and it might take hours (which isn't a bad thing at all!), but if you've been through it and know what you're doing it'll take 20mins tops. Get this game. All other bad reviews on this game are about bugs and stuff or they get stuck and "can't do it". There are no bugs, trust me, if it happens it's not the game, it's your phone/tablet/etc. Just push through and if all else fails, there are walkthroughs online.

Huge fan of this point and click puzzle game. The art is what initially drew me in and visually it did not disappoint. It's not too long nor too short and the puzzels were challenging but not so hard that it was frusterating. I highly recommend checking this game out for yourself. You wont be disappointed.

Edit: just finished the game and wow. This is far and above just more meaningful than pretty much ever other game I’ve played on iPhone. Even though it’s shorter than a traditional console game, this deserves to be on the level with one of them. It is a game that is going to stay with me for a long, long time. I saw no translation issues either. Some of the lines are spoken or written in riddles deliberately. This game is amazing and of the quality that I wish I saw more of in a mobile game. Great interpretation of Giger’s art. It’s definitely grotesque and at times disturbing, but nothing scary per se. It adds to the story and beauty of it actually. More thoughtful and meaningful than anything. The scenes are so intricate I found myself just staring at the them and zooming in for detail. I definitely want some high quality art from this game. Bravo, guys. Not for young kids for sure. The plot is poignant and there are some themes of mythology/religion enough to give it deeper meaning without beating you over the head with it. I want to learn more about this world. 1000% would buy another game from these guys.

The level of detail in this game is beyond impressive for what the play store offers. Why can't there be more games like this with the same level of effort put into them than games like candy crush where all you do is feel like a zombie wasting away as you play? I'd give this game 10 stars if I could. And just for a laugh, why does Google ask if this if this is a skateboarding game when rating? No, I'm not kidding...

What an ending! But I will not spoil that, just keep in mind that while you are indeed playing a game, you are also being judged on your actions. With that being said, here is what I thought of the game: Incredibly amazing. This is definitely a horror game, so do not play if you don't like what you see in the preview. Every scene is creepy and grotesque. But it's not actually a scary game. The puzzles are not too frequent and not too hard, but the the game is so immersive you don't need an immediate puzzle all the time. There is always a task going on for you to figure out. And not to mention the overall task, which is unknown to you. That made the game interesting, as I knew that it was all going to lead somewhere eventually, and it was fun just being in the moment. I would definitely recommend this game if you don't mind the look of it. It is an incredibly unique concept and look. It was also longer than I expected. Well worth the $5.

My husband and I played this game and we both really, really enjoyed it!!!!!! He played about 20 times! I really don't know how anyone can say it's a bad game, honestly! I just know I gave 5 stars last review....this game deserves 25 stars!!!! I am not kidding, it really does!! Sure, it's a dark game but it's done beautifully. The graphics are simply amazing. The story, well, that depends on your choices as you go along! And talk about bang for your buck.....this is a long game. You get your money's worth. My husband loved it so much he has played it over 30 times now! Guys do you think you could ever make us another wonderful game like this one, please, please, please? You already have 2 customers!!!! Excellent! Graphics and music are absolutely superb, with strong HR Giger influences and dark ambient soundscapes, amazing. The story is pretty cool too. The idea of having to make good/evil decisions adds depth to it. A couple of small UI issues like the white arrows for scrolling mixing up with the background or the weird inventory usage, but nothing important. The endings are nice, I disagree with some 'evil' actions, given the context. All in all, AWESOME. I want more games like this!!!

The time and attention put into the artwork of each background scene is worth the price alone. There are a few instances I have come across allowing for multiple choice options so there’s replay value, too. The music is phenomenal, the story line is fascinating, and the environmental ambiance created allows for a totally submersible experience. They also nailed the difficulty level of the puzzles. I am a huge puzzle gamer and I found their balance to be perfect, it was just challenging enough without it being too easy and not so frustrating that you rage quit. I absolutely adore everything about this game and hope they come out with more.

Really interesting setting and I love the integration of morality in the story. The puzzles are refreshingly not just a look and find galore. I really wish there were a few more small cutscenes showing how you solving the puzzle affected the environment. Like (tutorial spoiler) when you use the hand to fish out the eye, show it instead of just swapping the items in your inventory. Or show why the water rises when you get the cage combination right. Small complaint, good game!
  • Too easy Nov 25, 2017

    By ldparsnips
Although the possibility of different endings is interesting, the puzzles are easy, and there is too much exposition in some sections. I don’t want to read a lot of words. I want to play, and I want that play to be challenging. The artwork is okay, but the animation is pretty simplistic. Not my favorite.

I’ve never ranked a game based on offensiveness, but in this case it’s warranted. In the end scene, one of the characters makes horrible comments about suicide, calling it cowardly, etc. I hope no one who has ever lost someone to suicide ever plays this game.

Excellent artwork, music, and general presentation and lore. I'd give it 5 in a heartbeat but the puzzles themselves aren't puzzling as much as they are back and forth fetching. There are exceptions and the occasional open choices lend to breaking up the straight forward progression. Def worth playing.
  • Shocked ending May 7, 2020

    By Jbrad2
I have played many puzzle games and thought this one no different. I figured out the puzzles and went forward driven to make it through as fast as I can. That is the way I usually play. But, when I got to the end and discovered the real truth of the game I felt horrified at myself. It made me take a long, hard and honest look at myself. This truly showed me what I was made of. And I was not pleased. I think I will change things and hope it is not too late. Play it now!
  • Solid point and click fun Mar 19, 2017

    By Khazren
First off the art is stunning on every screen it's a joyfully twisted mess of macabre scenery and set pieces, the puzzle design is solid with several puzzles being rather interesting and rewarding wile a hand full bordered on frustrating. It's a good game for killing a few hours and I recommend it to any avid point and click fan.
  • Interesting Jul 24, 2019

    By Arierr77
This was a very interesting point click adventure. It is not a difficult as some other click point adventures as I have done but the storyline was more interesting and deep. The art is very good. If you are more engaged by the story around the mystery and not so much the difficulty of puzzles this is an exceptional game.
