Amazing food! Terrible app!
This place has such great food and every time I try to order through the app there’s always some kind of issue. Tonight it was that I had to figure put how to bypass an error message by unchecking a pre populated box at the bottom in order to add meat. And if I added meat, I could not also add avocado. Super frustrating. We would probably order here every week if the app wasn’t so bad. And what’s hilarious is if you call them, they just point you to the app that doesn’t work very well! -
Online and app refuses to accept my credit cards using my zip code. Annoying!

App Needs a lot of work
The original Tocaya app on ChowNow was easy to use. Fast, friendly, and efficient. The new set up requires way too many steps to place a simple order. The laundry list of specific options is not very helpful. For instance cilantro rice yes or no are the only choices. In the past, we used to be able to request light cilantro rice. All the requests to sign up and register the payment card feel like customer badgering. It’s just one more list where confidential information is bought and sold on the Internet. Not a fan! -
Problems with rewards
It works great for ordering but so far I’ve had multiple problems with the rewards system. I activated my last reward and it should have applied to my last purchase, but it never credited my credit card back. The first time I had an issue a team member tried to refund me and I never got the refund so I had to go in store and a manager was kind enough to give me a gift card. -

Asks 5-10 times whether you want to register your card with the rewards program even though I declined each time, and then if finally ended up signing up my card for the rewards program anyway. No means no!!!

Worst app ever
This is is busted. It won’t let you add additional foods. It won’t let you add new credit cards. This is not hyperbole. This is the worst app I have ever used in my entire for any purpose.
