Tide information at your fingertips
Aug 25, 2019 I’ve been using Tide Graph Pro for about a year now at work, where I need quick access to present and future rides. What we liked most about this app is the on screen presentation, and the ability to look for times of tide heights between the highs and lows. The app pulls updated information from NOAA tide data. Recently we noticed in an update the harmonic station we had been using went away and only the sub station was left. I shot Bryan a quick email, and he responded right away with what was happening, and quickly rolled out an update to correct the situation. Recommend this app to anyone who wants quick, and easy to read tide data at their fingertips.more -
Sep 19, 2018 Brainware fix every issue I found. This Android version is now as good as the IOS iPad version. I now want the Pro version to get released for Android cell phones. Thanks Brian -
Clean, quick and accurate
Apr 19, 2020 I’ve been using both versions for quite awhile (I jumped on the Pro version when it came out after the original) and I love them. They’re fast, easy to use and they deliver a lot of info in an efficient and uncluttered way. You can access tides in your area in a couple of ways: “near me”, or by using the map. Plus, you can save favorite locations for quick access. The sun and moon rise/set info is actually much easier to see and use than the star-gazing apps I’ve purchased. Highly recommended.more -
Best Tide App on the Market
Jul 26, 2020 I’ve been using TideGraphPro for years and it’s absolutely awesome. The visual layout is especially useful as you can see the ebb and flow of the tides in one quick screen. The time offset is a HUGE feature since we live on a tidal creek where our tides are delayed 45 minutes from the nearest data point. My only critique is I wish there were a button to tap that brings you to the current time. Maybe there is and I just haven’t found it.more -
Aug 14, 2020 a must have. very accurate and super helpful! thanks guys

Tide graph Pro
Dec 24, 2013 NOT SO GOOD! I had the older version and it was excellent! I teach tides/currents to sea kayakers and have recommended the OLDER version. Here's the problems with the the new Pro version: They admit to having a "bug" in the Calender. This means you can't go out a month to calculate tides. The graphics are much fainter and much harder to read especially if you're over 20. One example: The tide high/low arrow is hollow instead of solid. Tide stations are not prompted but have to be searched and then added. Annoying. Some of this I could live with but not the Calender issue. Tech support was worthless blaming my phone, then admitted there was a problem, the again blaming my phone all in extremely lengthy emails. Also, could not use their link to iTunes for a refund. iTunes says no refund or makes it such a convoluted process that it's not worth the effort for $4. Tidelog requires you to jump thru too many hoops to contact tech support. All in all a frustrating process. Whatever happened to basic customer service?? If it doesn't work, make it right! That simple. So deleted it and use the old version! MUCH MORE USER FRIENDLY!!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND TIDELOG PRO!more -
Doesn't seem to work on iPad
Jan 30, 2015 I use it on my iPhone occasionally (though I like the presentation of the free version better). But tried to download to my iPad (Air 2) and it won't let me choose another station via any of the mechanisms. I select Edit Locations, then any of the selection choices and they just sit there. No additional dialog pops up.more

Sep 24, 2017 Android version is weak on features compared to iPhone version. Interface could be much more intuitive. In the tide chart, days of the week do not match up with the monthly calendar days. Users should be able to set a default tide location.more -
Feb 8, 2017 I like the app, but am wondering what the features are on the iPhone that aren't on Android yet. For example, why doesnt the date refresh to the current date when I reopen the app?? I have tried the usual tricks to refresh but nothing seems to work, other than manually selecting the date.more -
Sep 18, 2016 Good but waiting for all the features of the Apple version. -
It Would Be Great
Nov 10, 2014 If you had an update to include Apogee and Perigee to moon calendar. Currents… too.

Mar 3, 2018 Really wish charts were available offline. The iPhone version is so much better, let's hope the Android version catches up. As it stands now, not useful. -
Jan 14, 2018 12-hour time? What am I, planning a brunch around the tides? 24 hour time. Also didn't seem to have a way to pick closest port for tide data. I had to scroll up the cost like Lord Vancouver. -
Beware lost locations
Apr 12, 2018 Been using this app for years on my iPhone and iPad and like it. Just installed latest version on both devices and lost all my saved locations. Took me a good hour to recreate them again on each device. Seems like a simple thing that should have been caught in testing.more -
maybe better
Dec 17, 2015 I have the free version as well and have been using it for two years. Unfortunately the pro version gives different information, different tide heights etc. This makes for a confusing tool. It also does not present its information as well as the free version. They did respond to my email about this but they gave a lame reason for the discrepancies. I will stick with the free version which has been very accurate as far as I can see.more

What’s Groovy
The best layout of any of the tide apps that I have tried. Very responsive developer. would be a strong five star if the tables were available offline like the ios version. definitely worth the small cost.

What’s Subpar
Hard to set location, small graph, no landsape display, cannot swipe to next day.
