  • Great game Jun 9, 2019

Excellent strategy. This game is quite addictive. It’s quite challenging. It has that addictive thing where I am always trying to improve efficiency and really own the game, but I never quite feel like I have done it. So I keep trying and playing. Also it is nice and compact with plenty of angles to consider without getting too complicated with unnecessary filler. The UI boils it down and I can focus on the gameplay. Anyway this has really delivered on the just one more turn itch.

In my honest opinion, this is one of the best turn based strategy games. It gives insight into resource management as well as technology research priorities to get the best score possible

  • Amazing game! Aug 30, 2018

I’ve been playing for a few years now and I highly recommend this game. It’s such an intense strategy game and you have to prepare for disaster. My only complaint about this game is that it’s too easy to spend time on it!

Fun game but the balance of everything is wrong... even normal your food production is low and pop limit doesnt sky rocket till late game. Even then your max pop is only 4.5m to the actual pop cap of 19m. Food is where the main balancing of the game needs to be. To be honest balancing of all resources needs to be checked.

I must have been missing something here. You play one or two games and then it's just the same every time. Don't bother wasting your money.

Well, I've definitely gotten my money's worth, given the amount of time I've spent on this. But it's pretty frustrating that I haven't even come close to beating it, given how much precise calibration and luck the game requires. This difficulty seems to be much more of a bug than a feature, as I'd enjoy something with an increasing level of challenge if I had the opportunity to ease into it. Instead, expect to enjoy picking at this lock but never actually turning the key. After an "easy" mode, or heck, even a "normal" mode, this game sorely needs a better "help" section. For a game that's so dependent on numerical interactions, there's very little explanation of why things occur the way they do. A number of grammatical errors, probably lost in translation from the developers' Russian, compounds this problem. I hope I can beat this game before the update comes out, and I hope the update makes it easier.

  • I want this game to be good. Dec 22, 2014

I really wanted this game to be good. It has lots of elements that should make this app very enjoyable, but the difficulty setting makes this almost impossible to enjoy. It feels like even on the easy setting there is a very specific set of actions that must happen in perfect order, and if you miss a step or try to come up with your own strategy you will fail. It feels like this is more about finding out the predetermined path the developer created rather than coming up with your own strategy for winning. With some tweaks to difficulty this could still be a fun game. I'm waiting for an update.

  • Amazing app Feb 22, 2017

This app is phenomenal I love playing it every single day it's fun, well made and just amazing and one thing I really like is that these people care about the quality of the game and don't use this as a way to make a profit

  • Rome Bug Dec 27, 2018

    By Roman Legionairy
If you are taken over by Rome, you can call the legions in to attack the legions. And because the legions don't leave, you can do this infinitely, giving yourself thousands of attack strength. Aside from that, and the fact that if you instant surrender to Rome they take your stuff and invade, it's good

Fun for people who enjoy managing the numbers, and choosing a numbers strategy. Once you start making logical choices it's actually quite easy.

  • This is a pure strategy game, no tactics of troops movementthat Dec 28, 2015

It plays like the Civ series but it's not and you cannot save a game in session and return later so be ready to sit at your iPad for a long time. It's fun but I need a break for awhile and what can I do but loose my progress and start a new game some other day. Of course, you can loose Lang the way and then your done and free but you have no record to review what you did. Anyway it s fun and you aren't given a bill to pay along the way to buy more gold as in the sucker dumb games. I'm playing this!

  • So fun...until you beat it Nov 5, 2016

    By Fixthisgamethissecond43
This game is definitely fun. However, I spent $5 on it, and kind of expected to be able to continue after I beat the game. Similar to Bronze Age. I was really disappointed when the game abruptly came to an end when I was preparing to take over the world. And then the next time I played, I beat it, but still couldn't continue. And the exact same thing happens every time!! Overall it is a fun game, but without a free play mode, it should not be $5.
