    Updated review following app fix after contacting Facebook team. From 1 star to 4 stars. Original post: A new customer and been trying to log in to this app for the past week- it just keeps saying we are experiencing technical difficulties please try again later. I've downloaded/ uninstalled the app multiple times it makes no difference. At least I can log in online for now.

    Just received info from Tesco mobile saying that a patch to app has now been done and I'm happy to improve my rating to 4 stars. The most annoying thing was tesco customer care staff were unaware there was a problem and wasted some 2 hours of my time trying to fix the issue by taking me through troubleshooting! Surely customer care should be made aware immediately there is an issue to ensure they don't waste their customer's time as described. Anyway, thanks for updating the app. I've just upgraded to 2 new moto e6 phones for my wife and I with tesco. This app will not work at all on my mobile. I've downloaded and reinstalled it many times to no avail. I still get the same msg after I get and submit my security code "app stopped working". I've contacted customer service and gone through all their troubleshooting steps. They told me on Widespread glitch with app at present and may be sorted in 3-5 days. Can tesco please advise when exactly this issue will be resolved!

    I've installed, uninstalled and reinstalled this app multiple times and each time it says that there's a technical error and the app won't show my Tesco mobile details - I really hope this can be fixed soon as I have found it to be a useful app in the past.

    I use this app regularly to check my balance of free calls etc. Last week I agreed to access the app at least once monthly to be entered into a prize draw. Tried to access the app tonight. App now asks for my phone number to text me an activation code which never comes. I tried uninstalling and re loading from play store.. no change.. whats going on?

    When you get thrown out at the first hurdle not being able to enter +1719xxxxxxx But the lack of forethought at this scale makes you wonder what health issues are they also forgetting.

    You can't see or do anything useful with regards to your account only available minutes etc. You can't make any alterations or cancel agreements if required. You still have to log in on the website or call.

    Every time I open it asks me for a phone number to send an activation code. Once I enter my number the app shuts and I don't get sent the number by SMS. There's no way to get around this either, it's just stuck on this screen so I can't do anything.

    I found it impossible to log in, even though I was given a password to use . I find this extremely worrying as I wanted to know how long I had on my contract which I now know, but I was blocked from using app as it refused to acknowledge the passwords you sent.

    Edit: 04/12/20 - the update dated 02/12/20 has fixed the issue. The app loads and works fine now - thank you. Tesco Mobile App worked fine on previous Motorola phone, but will not work on Redmi Note 9. Each time I try to load, it says "Tesco Mobile keeps stopping". If necessary, I can send the error/bug code. NB The one star doesn't represent how well the App worked on my previous phone (that worked well - 4 stars). Thanks

    Will not work on new phone. Closes immediately. Used often on old phone. Followed recommended suggestion to remove and re load but still not working (version 6.2). Since contacting Tesco Mobile they have released version 6.3 which I have installed. So far so good... All appears to be working correctly. Thank you for the new update.

    Good clear app, easy to use. Would be good if one could put a name to the mobile number. Especially when one has more than one mobile number attached to one account.

    Can't connect to secure messaging. The app is generally fine and provides useful allowance and billing information but every time I try to connect to the secure messaging it just says 'connecting......' I have Android 9.0, the app is up to date and I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling but nothing changes. Also my internet connection is fine.
