I was hesitant to download the app because I have been in a cooking rut since I had COVID, but recipes excite me so I thought I’d try it. The recipes I’ve tried have been easy to follow! I do wish there was a way for people to rate recipes or add comments on different recipes, as I often find myself looking for ratings. I also would love if you were able to search for recipes based on what’s in your pantry - for instance I went there tonight to look for something to make with ground beef and would have loved to be able to search for it. Overall, I think a lot of time and effort went into making recipes for all skill levels and the recipes I’ve tried have been tasty!

FINALLY!!!! Finally there is an app for healthy recipes! It has EVERYTHING! It has healthy recipes that you can filter based on your dietary restrictions. It offers food recommendations based off health concerns. There’s informative articles written by a nutritionist, a naturopath, and of course Sezzy! You can even write notes down when you try a recipe so you reference it when you go back to it! What I love most is that it’s not an overwhelming amount of ingredients and each recipe doesn’t take too much time to make. I’ve been feeling stuck on what my options are since switching to a vegetarian diet and this app has reignited my excitement for food again! I’ve been watching Sezzy for years on YT and she has inspired me in so many ways. I even have some of her active wear! I adore her and I’m so proud of what she’s accomplished and what she continues to do! ❤️

So I immediately downloaded this when it released because I was so excited to support Sezzy! But then I opened it and saw just how expensive it is for a subscription and that there was no month to month option. Also, only a few things were unlocked so I couldn’t even look around to see if it was worth purchasing. I also kept getting asked if I wanted notifications, like how many times do I have to say no? Great vibe though. I just wish it were physical or a one time purchase amount. I’d be much more inclined to buy it. With Pinterest and all the free content out there, I don’t see how anyone would be willing to pay that much. I hope the best for you girl. Just maybe should have thought of your users and the time we are in over your own wants. It’s called user experience design for a reason, you aren’t designing it for you, it’s for the people who are going to buy it.

I love Sunee! especially the recipe roulette. We always have a hard time deciding what to have for dinner so it's really helpful to let the app decide for us. Easy recipes but lots of variety and not a long list of complicated ingredients. i have most pantry items already in my kitchen. I also love being able to sort by GF, DF, etc. Saves alot of time. The blog has valuable content. There's just so many things I love about the app!

I’ve been following sarah for quite some time now, over 3 years so I was super excited about said “cooking project.” I think everyone was expecting a book like her workouts, so was surprised to see it was an app with recurring fees. Not going to lie was very hesitant buying in, but the app is so fun and the recipes are even better. They also break down the price for you, like a 6-month subscription is like 1 night out of dining in America. 1 dinner vs dozens of healthy recipes? Figured I’d at least give it a go. Love how comprehensive and thought out the entire layout is from pantry staples to recipes that incorporate healthy, whole foods. It 100% made me think about food differently in a good way, so hope to maintain these tips and tricks. One critique I’d have if at all is that some of the recipes aren’t as healthy as you’d think so you have to use your best judgement, e.g. nachos isn’t exactly what I thought I’d see on her app. Would be fun for more community based stuff too like photos, comments, ratings, etc. Also, I don’t have the reminder bug. It also doesn’t remind me all that often when I do have it turned on maybe 2x a month. Hope this goes well for Sarah! Keep up the good work.

I've enjoyed most things in this app. I would say it's definitely for a cooking expert and not a beginner. There's a few places they have left out steps or when to do certain things. Also, being in America is hard to find a lot of the ingredients- I've been able to substitute okay.
  • GREAT app for healthy and delicious meals! Jan 29, 2021

    By BSUstudent
My family and I have been using the app since the day it launched. It’s difficult to get kids to actually enjoy healthy meals, but every one always asks for seconds! The meals are ones I’ve never tried and some never heard of before. The categories make it very convenient! It’s nice to have all the healthy variety of recipes in one place! The cost is worth it to me because it’s an investment on mine and my families health! The app doesn’t include nutritional facts, but that’s because the focus of the app is on intuitive eating. It doesn’t bother me at all, but it may be bothersome to others! If you’re American, make sure you do the conversions! (My husband didn’t realize the oven temperature was set to Celsius at first lol)

I like the app, but why I'm not giving 5 stars, is because it has glitches. For example I'm scrolling some recipes and suddenly there's only a pink screen that lasts for half a minute to a minute and then goes back to the front page. It get's a bit annoying when it starts to do it often. Also, at the front page it takes quite a long time for the new recipes to show up.. or maybe that's the reason for the glitches? Idk.. but it's also quite pricy even with the monthly subscription. @mochibochi_

So far we have loved every recipe we’ve tried. Kids too! Love the articles, the search function, the recipe roulette and the fact that I can make notes! I haven’t had any of the glitches or “Turn on Notifications” issues that others have. I also don’t care about nutritional facts. A: I would assume that is a HUGE outside expense and B: eating Whole Foods and balancing out your meals (not having three sugary meals in one day) are more important than calories and fats. The fact that the recipes are reviewed by a nutritionist and dietician is good for me. The price is a bit of a sticker shock, but at the end of the day, having someone to tell me what to eat is worth the money. I get that you can search the web for similar recipes for free, but ain’t nobody got time for that! I went with the annual subscription, which I’m happy with, but don’t love the fact that if I don’t renew, I lose access. Now to suggestions. Would love a meal plan function for the week. Would love an “add to my grocery list” function. Thanks for all you guys do!

I adore this app! It is a must use for me and my boyfriend. Being gluten and dairy free, it can be hard to find recipes on Pinterest or on the web that works for me. However, sunee takes out all of those issues with a filter that shows recipes specifically made for my dietary restrictions. My favorite feature on the app is norish me. Norish me lists different issues you might have (thirst all the time, terrible cramps, ECT.) and certified dietitian's recommendations on how to help. Love💖🤩

Not worth the money, there's really only a few recipes on the app worth making and there's no way to give feedback about said recipes if there are issues with it. It crashes all the time, frequently logging me out. She also totes about having ingredients that are easy to find in any store but not all are that easy to find, nor a staple in most normal peoples pantry. The recipes that I've made from the app are not all that impressive. Most of the 4 star reviews are bc of the contest being held.

This is really hard for me to do because I love Sezzy, but this app needs major improvement. Cooking apps can be much more user friendly than cook books if done correctly. However, this app offers non of them. For this app to be worth paying this premium, she needs a tab to plan your meals for the week, at least, and have it auto generate a grocery list. Instead I’m sitting here writing a list down, like I would have to do with a cook book, but I’m paying a subscription fee for a app. Basically, this just a glorified, over priced cook book that has no added benefits. There is also not enough mail meals, and to mention there’s no nutritional information. Which I understand intuitive eating can work for some people but not everyone. If I’m paying this steep price and for this to truly be a cook book for everyone, this needs to be added. Many people have medical reasons they need to tract certain nutritional information.

So many errors; I didn't renew when my subscription finished. - spelling errors - ingredients mentioned in the recipe that aren't in the ingredients list - weird and inconsistent measurements - recipes like "barra and roast veggies" l undermine their users intelligence - very few vegetarian main meals - all DF & GF, which is unnecessary - took me weeks to find ingredients, especially buckwheat kernals - I found the recipes stolen from insta pages - needs macro and cal breakdown
  • No, I don’t want to turn on notifications Jan 13, 2021

    By happymadison
I am surprised and annoyed with how often this asks you to turn on notifications. It’s literally every 10 seconds, I timed it. As someone who is trying to not only live a healthy lifestyle when it comes to my body, but also my mind, I want as few notifications from apps as possible. I was also very disappointed to see that you cannot subscribe on a monthly basis. This is a major flaw. I don’t want to subscribe to three months and find out it doesn’t have the content I want or need and be in for a quarter of a year. Disappointing to say the least. I have downloaded the app but won’t pay for the subscription until the notification prompt is turned off once answered no instead of prompting over and over. I also won’t subscribe until I can do so on a monthly basis.

Very expensive for what it is when similar if not the same recipes can be found on Google. To many spelling mistakes and mistake in classifying dishes as Vego when they have meat in them etc. Definitely needs a free trial period or monthly subscription, appears to be a big money grab with 3 monthly subs.
  • Rude creators & Basic recipes. Don’t waste your money. Jan 25, 2021

    By annoyyyeedddd
The recipes given are basic recipes you find FREE on Pinterest. Smoothies, granola, nourish bowls, and basic chicken with veggies. Then this week... a coffee? The app glitches, theres so many errors and mistakes and there’s zero nutrition facts. I’m super unimpressed by Sarah & Sunee deleting comments and then being rude to their fans/followers on Instagram who have legitimate concerns about this app. I saw Sarah comment to a follower saying “no one is forcing you to buy the app”. Really? It’s an insult to ask $120 for a discounted one year subscription for basic recipes, rude creators, and a faulty app. When your customers want to be heard and validated, you don’t respond with rude snarky responses, or delete/block them. Is this app designed only for Sarah or for your 1 million subscribers? Listen to your complaints and validate your customers Sunee, or you won’t be getting anyone to renew their subscription.

I wish I could leave zero stars. The recipes are so basic it feels like they were written by a 12 year old. I had to adjust a lot of the quantities just so the recipe would be edible. What a scam!
  • I tried, but I feel taken advantage of... Feb 16, 2021

    By RP33
I really love Sarah, I love her ingenuity, drive, and bubbly personality. I tried so hard to like this app. Even though these are basic recipes that I could just google for free, it is nice to have them in one place. The BIG problem with this app is that you are paying a very high premium for having a dynamic platform, but I could have paid WAY less for a cookbook which would allow me to keep the content I’ve paid for forever. It is kind of a slap in the face to your supporters to take the content that we paid for away after the subscription is over, and that makes me feel used. In addition, there are lots of errors that should have been caught in editing. That’s a minor thing. Really, just don’t take away what I’ve paid (a lot) for. That might be fair if the subscription was $1.99/month, not $10!

Honestly feels like I've been scammed and I wish I could leave a zero star review! The recipes look like they were slumped together in a primary school cooking class. Don't waste your money.

Absolutely love this app! So so easy to use and I love that you get new recipes every week. I was in a real rutt with my cooking selection, especially with dinners, but now I make at least 2 new meals from the sunee app each week 😍 I love that the recipes are really easy to create, as a busy mum with a toddler and baby I need quick and easy recipes! So so impressed! I have recommended to all my friends and family! Thank you Sezzy xxx _jessiee.j xxx
  • Meal Plan and Shopping list Jan 12, 2021

    By Briannaglee
Love the app, it’s beautiful and easy to use. It really encourages me to want to eat healthy. In a new update you should thinking about creating a section where we can plan out our weeks meal plan. With that, it would automatically add the ingredients needed to a shopping list. For example, if I have 3 recipes with chicken, the app would add up the total amount of chicken I would need for the week. I think this would encourage more people to use the app daily and make it more convenient to go shopping with like Sarah mentioned. Also love the app how it is though!! Congrats, friends!
  • Suggestion (love the app tho!!) Jan 11, 2021

    By Mhermeier77
In a new update it would be great to include a place for people to add in 10-20 of their own recipes. The app would be really functional and used daily by people if they could include some of their already loved recipes AND some of your new amazing ones!! I’m wondering if you could even make them searchable to the individual that added them once in the app (not searchable by everyone). This way making that transition to healthier meals might be even more sustainable because people can still include some of their own recipes they love. Congrats on a wonderful app!

I think the app is great. The recipes so far have all been amazing! I understand why people are complaining about some of the glitches, but I don’t see them to be anything too crazy. I personally do not feel they interrupt my experience. I think the people who are bothered are extremely techy (like app developer level). Somethings are a little chunky, but again nothing that interrupts my experience. My only real complaint is the price. It is a little pricy to be an elevated cookbook. With that said, when you breakdown the price by day and consider all of the features and content, I think it is worth it if you have the money.

I love Sarah I’ve been watching her for years. I think the app feels like Sarah in app form. It’s very creative and I like a lot of the features. I have a recommendation though. I have other subscription based apps and a lot of them have a free trial period before requiring a subscription. That way I could see all the app has to offer before I subscribe. By the time the trial is over I’m already sucked in and don’t wanna lose the content I’ve had access too and I’m more likely to subscribe.

I love this app i have found the recipes delicious and very creative. I am so happy that you are now adding more kids recipes as i have found this really helpful. I do struggle sometimes with the ingredients as i dont always have everything on hand or can't find it but other than that i love it! @jessicag_84

I love the variety of recipes, and it's good for meal prepping but would be good to have a few more or an option to be able to make a recipe serve 1 person. But other than that love it and so happy with new recipes every week !! @bryana__leigh

I've enjoyed most things in this app. I would say it's definitely for a cooking expert and not a beginner. There's a few places they have left out steps or when to do certain things. Also, being in America is hard to find a lot of the ingredients- I've been able to substitute okay.

Like most people, I think there should probably be more unique features for the price point. It’s a pretty expensive subscription. I also didn’t find the articles to be that helpful (and didn’t notice any additional articles added over my 3-month use). The recipes themselves are okay. Most of the ones I tried tasted fairly bland, although my boyfriend liked them. And I, like a lot of the other users, think there should be nutritional information. I know that Sarah promotes “intuitive eating,” but some of the calorie counts were *shockingly* high. It would’ve been nice to have some low-cal, high protein alternatives.

Too many typos and glitches for the price. I wont be paying for this service when there are other FREE options that have more features, less typos and recipes backed by actual professionals
  • Very underwhelmed and disappointed Jan 17, 2021

There is a lack of any nutritional facts of any kind. The App in itself is disappointing in the fact that some of the recipes won’t show ingredients or method. I also dislike that you have to pay for either 3,6, or 12 months in full and there is no month to month option. Along with that point, I feel that this app is very overpriced for what you get. I was very excited for these recipes and since trying multiple recipes and giving them a fair shot, they just weren’t good. I was very underwhelmed with the recipes. All in all, I would not buy another subscription. The recipes, although healthy lack flavor. The app is not well made. The subscription is overpriced. There are no nutritional facts. I am extremely disappointed and underwhelmed.

Sunee is overpriced and glitchy. No new articles in weeks . 'New weekly recipes' but its 1 meat dish, a smoothie and a cookie/protein bar. Old recipes are also being deleted secretly. They don't listen to feedback and delete any negative comments on Instagram. Fans asked for a month option and they didn't listen and only do 3 months 'with monthly payments'. Any reviews after June 3rd (ones which have Instagram handles at the end) are fake. They are to win a Sunee competition. False advertising.

Wish I could give stars, just come on here to review to counteract all of the fake reviews as apart of their giveaway. If they wanted honest reviews from users, they should have put it in the app itself, not on instagram for anybody to pop and give a 5 star review for a chance of winning their illegal giveaway. App is overpriced, plagiarised and managed by two people that will block you on social media just for asking a question.
