This was such an amazing game. It was very cute, very relaxing, but also very riling. The game play was really nice. I thought the fact that Sosuke chose when he wanted to leave was nice. That way it didn’t really feel like an obligation, but that he/you really wanted to explore these places. I use he/you that way, because this game REALLY DOES make you invested in it and like want to go to these different places. See what they’re like. Plus the storyline. Ugh, don’t even get me started. It was so- Cool! That’s the only other way I can put it. I personally, was hoping that Sosuke would decide to stay on the island where he’s happy, but he does need to be with his mother. I feel like I also learned things that he learned with him. He really learned to understand her better and I think that was a really nice idea for it. I genuinely cried at the end, though. Seriously developers. I was in search of a nice game that I wouldn’t get tired of. And that was this. Though it was short, it brightened my day every time!!! So 1) Thank you and 2) Great job. This was perfect in my eyes. <3

It's rare to find such a unique and thoughtful game in the crowded free-to-play mobile market, but Summer of Memories is a sweet natured and moving game that employs mechanics I haven't ever seen before surrounded by a visual novel style narrative presentation that warms the heart. It's ads are sparse and the structure of the game is more respectful of one's time than a lot of mobile games. I'll remember Summer of Memories, and I'll come back to it another time to see my friends again.

Having played the other games of this developer, I must say this is their best work yet. They clearly put a lot of love and effort into their games. The games are not much in gameplay and are almost all about the story (much like a visual novel game), which I throughly appreciate. This one in particular is very relatable and hits so close to home! I highly recommend for anyone and everyone to play this game. You won’t regret all those peaceful minutes you spend in the beautiful world. It has some sad moments, some happy ones, and some funny ones too! Everything you need for an emotional adventure is right here in this little game. Please feel free to pick it up and support the amazing developers!

Unique and charming. Seems inspired by digital pet games, but the pet is a little boy who goes off on adventures and comes back to tell stories. There are some bugs and issues, but nothing game-breaking. The story is engaging, but there doesn't seem to be much connection between the items you pack and the story you get. Even the devs seem confused sometimes about the direction of the story. If I could change one thing, let the players choose when Sosuke sets out so there's time to plan and pack.

This game is a true stress reliever- it’s simple to play with an engaging story that doesn’t force you or manipulate you into buying anything to actually play. There is a power up that makes the game completely effortless to play and there are occasional ads that give you rewards, but they’re inconsequential and not really needed unless you’re trying to speed through the game. I finished this game in about a week, maybe less, and I honestly wish it were a bit longer only because I was having so much fun. 100% recommend this game, along with the developers earlier titles such as the Showa Candy Shop series.

The story is really nice. I might have shed a little tears here and there lol. I got a happy ending it says. I didn't know this game have multiple endings. My problems are the backpack items did not really help that much to know where you'll be going and the fact that there is not much to do once Sousuke went out. We also can't see the photos. All in all, it was a pretty nice experience. Thank you for making this game. I hope you'll continue to make meaningful stories in the future. :)

Hello, I've been playing your games since Showa Candy Shop 2 was around, they're really great (especially the stories). This game is amazing too! Other than that I love it, keep up the good work :) And if anyone wants to know, some treasures can only be obtained after unlocking dialogues with certain characters.

  • Great game but needs some improvements Sep 24, 2020

    By Ace of Spades♠️
This game is really cute as all other Gagex games are. I just wished that time wouldn’t pass so fast, or that there’s a pause function if you want to take a break from the game. I just got the game a few days ago and almost the whole month is gone. Also! It was really easy to complete most if not all the collections and memories, so I would like some new characters to appear. Maybe Sosuke’s mom can show up one day?

Amazing experience in the first month. However, it gets boring on the 2nd month onwards, since there are no changes in the story, esp if im only missing a few scenes from the first run. Still not regretting paying to remove ads since the first run was extremely enjoyable.

  • Wonderful Story! Oct 2, 2020

I have also played Hungry Hearts and Showa Candy Shop. Every time, the game takes you for a rich, colourful adventure. You’ll build remarkable relationships with the characters and at the end? You’ll feel nostalgic for everything you’ve just experienced. The wait for this game was worth it, and I look forward to the next game. <3

  • Great games bad ads Sep 9, 2020

    By 黒橋メイサ
I used to love every game this creator made, and recently I redownloaded them and got this one, and realised i could no longer buy the ads away on most of the games, which made the once peaceful and calming journey riddled with loud, irritating ads that ruin the experience. It does not encourage me to share the app or buy the boosts anymore, because I cannot buy away the stress that pops up between every other screen.

there's bug, I can't close the purchase pop up menu when accindentaly click the empy magic clock tab under "to ocean" text. And when meet new character, when if he/she first talk, the tab name always under Sousuke's character, even the name say Sousuke, as if he's the one who's talking. Just my opinion, but I think the chime ring too constant and too often, it's make little annoying
