Best sudoku game ive found. You can change difficulty and preferences, color of the board, and whether or not it ends the game after a certian amount of mistakes. I love the note feature, so you can take note of a number as a possibility in a square without immediately marking it. Would recommend for anyone of any sudoku skill level.

Option to remove ads?
I really like the game. It would be great to have an option to remove ads. As far as I can tell, it is not there. -
The game is fun and simple but the ads are so annoying, especially because they don't load right. Sometimes I'll click the new game button and an ad pops up and I exit out of it and hit the new game button, but the ad keeps loading instead. I have to actually close and reload the game for it to stop. Also, sometimes I'll finish a game and an ad will display instead of my score, with no way of exiting the ad, so I don't know what score I got.

Greater than sudoku is a fun variant but ultimately it’s just easier than regular sudoku unless you play on expert. A good sudoku game should only have one solution per puzzle, so the extra condition really just serves as a hint. Where normally you might be stuck between a 2 and an 8, in this version you can simply look to the symbols, and if the cell is greater than anything but 1, it has to be an 8 (or less than anything but 9 it must be a 2). This allows you to solve cells earlier than you would otherwise. Expert difficulty gives you a blank puzzle to start with, and it’s very difficult to get started, this requires a lot of working memory to solve for just one cell with the added condition. Once you get going, however, it becomes a regular game of sudoku with an extra hint. -
Up until a week or so ago, the ads were fine and whatever. However, now, it will sometimes go to a blank white screen and freeze, making me have to exit the app, which ends up costing me the game. This really sucks cause I'm usually over halfway done with the giant puzzle when this happens.

In my opinion the game runs well and I've learned a lot about sudoku from it. My only complaint is that always have to restart games when trying for a flawless run because I accidentally choose a number next to the one I tried picking. It would be nice to have a setting where you can confirm your move before it plays it out. Other than that its a 5 star game.

Let's be honest, if you keep the ad about pooping going, I quit!!! I will no longer play as long as you have that horrible 'pooping' ad on, constantly. I hate it!! Especially so damn often. Sometimes after every game. I really liked this Sudoku, but not with that ad.. I quit!!! YOU GOT RID OF THAT AWFUL AD!!! I really, really like this sudoku! I'm glad to come back.

Staff answer quickly and are kind. The app itself includes very little amount of famfare or additional content, which is a reason I adore this app. Pay the small fee to get rid of the ads and there's 0 distractions during games. You get what you asked for without any annoying animations, zaniness, or bright colors that other apps use to differentiate from the crowd, and it's so much easier on the eyes as a result. It's an amazing and relazing puzzle app with amazing staff.

Great app! Easy to play, nice difficulty spread. It's fun that it keeps statistics. Removing ads is $3.50 CAD, and totally worth it, since they're very annoying. I wish they just sold the app for $3.50 instead of making it an IAP, but then people would have nothing to complain about 😉

I have enjoyed this game for many years. Easy to use. I will unfortunately be uninstalling the game. I had two years of daily challenges completed and then the game stopped working and the game needed to be reinstalled. All those completed games are gone which is so disappointing. When I'm over the disappointment or they have come up with a way to save progress or share between devices I'll give it another try.

I've downloaded a lot of sudoku puzzle apps at the play store. I would prefer an ad-less version for a $1 or $2 but as far as I can tell they are all free. I like this one the best. Lot's of difficulties to choose from and simple layout. Unfortunately, there is no dark mode however.

Non unique solution
Like the simplicity of these apps, but this one gave me a puzzle with a non unique solution on my first expert try. Not sure how hard that is to fix.

Well, the first couple days things were fine. Then I had 3 puzzles in a row that were unbeatable because they had 2 of the same number in blocks and rows. IE, when I was down to the last 3 or 4 open squares all of the spots would have made a duplicate in a row or block. Edit: I have a screen shot of the first time it happened. I don't know who or what you have checking the puzzles, but I can email you the screenshot if you want.

Lag and Non-Unique Soloutions
I play on iPhone 7 and for some reason sometimes I just can’t click anything for sometimes over a minute. The time is not shown going up and then out of no where it skips ahead. I enjoy the game when it works. The other apps that I have by the same developer work fine. Edit: I have finished an expert puzzle and it did have multiple solutions, which is disappointing. -
Have been using this version of the game for a while now. It used to be the best, but I made the choice today to part ways with it. The amount of ads now is just terrible. They're not only there after or before games, even resuming after a pause queues an ad. I hate it. Not to mention that I lose progress on any games I pause to come back to. That never used to happen, and it's gotten too annoying. Thanks for the memories.
