A unique new take on an old, favorite game of mine! Graphics are beautiful, brilliant colours. Only problem being, once all of a particular number are used, they become TOO LIGHT for those of us who are visually impaired. Elderly in particular, require those numbers to be bolded out to increase visibility & ease gameplay. Other than that...I’m finding myself genuinely enjoying this game! I do recommend it VERY HIGHLY over other Sudoku games! Play & Enjoy!

I didn't know how to play sudoku before and this app taught me in very simple to understand steps. I also love the colors and the way the game keeps track of how many tiles of each number are left. I also like that you don't lose points or "lives" when you make an incorrect choice. Overall I really enjoy it.

So it is a fun game that I enjoy playing. But, there are some issues. I get that they need to have ads to make money. But several of the ads, even when you hit the x to close it, still take you to the download page for that game. It starts to get really annoying as it takes you away from the game and honestly to some pretty crappy looking games. Also, while I personally am playing just to keep my brain active, there really isn’t any benefits to getting a perfect game. You don’t get extra points or recognition for getting a perfect game versus guessing the whole way through. Also, the points you earn only give you a different name. It would be nice if they gave other advantages, such as cool backgrounds/numbers that you used points to earn. Maybe have specialty assists you could purchase with the points that don’t affect if you got a perfect game or not.

Good game - easy to get hooked. The only improvement I'd suggest for the full 5 stars is change the scoring system. There's no difference between completing a board with no errors and randomly stabbing at boxes and entering numbers by guessing. It would be better if you got full marks for making no errors and drop points for making errors, give you something to aim for!

  • When an answer is wrong, why? Jul 4, 2020

My family is ridiculously good at this game.... I even bought the easiest books possible and would be okay - MOST of the time, but the more gaps in each square the worse I got. This game DOES NOT offer the reason WHY an answer is wrong within one 9 digit square and that frustrates me to no end.... it should be correct . To me, it was a valid answer but i get the red squiggly line.....so what am I not understanding? Why do I feel so stupid - all over again? I’m trying to improve my skills because I’m not a “natural” with this kind of thinking.... I’m only 70 & would love to really enjoy this and tell my son and my dad, “look what I’ve learned to do! You were both a kind and patient teacher!”

Its seriously just another ad generator. Its bs. Cant ever find a suduko game that is ad free. And to response of your response, sudoku is a relaxing experience. Being ad blasted in the middle of it makes for very little enjoyment, and no one wants to pay for no ads because a “free sudoku game” isnt something thats super hard to generate, same with a free chess game, a free checkers game ect. Ads are not enjoyable and destroy well made apps everywhere.

The color-coding is definitely easier on my eyes; the outlining of the horizontal and vertical rows for a selected number is also a big plus. This is also a great complement to the various tutorials on YouTube; once I learn a new skill, I jump into the app and and use it. Truly helping me master Sudoku by leaps and bounds, it still lacks that one thing. If there is any way to add the "pencil feature," I hope you find it. Even the Grand Masters repeatedly recommend and use notation.

  • I finally get why this is such a popular game :-) Jun 26, 2020

I really thought I couldn’t “do” Sudoku. I’d tried but couldn’t seem to get myself to focus on the rows, columns, and boxes at the same time in order to choose the right number. This app, I finally get it, and am enjoying playing as one of my go-to relaxation as well as brain exercise games. I’m very glad I downloaded this app!

I enjoy Mobility Ware's free games that are no purchase in app. You do have to watch ads. Required watch time is only 5 seconds, though. Definitely a fair trade off for a free game. Ads are only inbetween games and do not pop up during play. Mobility Ware games also have good beginning levels to learn game strategies. Their games let you simply play, much like you would if you were playing in a printed book. Progress is without needing to earn the next level or purchasing up to the next level.

  • Lots of Fun / Limited Challenge Jul 18, 2020

    By Snowshoe Cat
I love the UI of this app. The colors, highlights, and skins are bright, high contrast and make reading the game grid easy easy. The levels of difficulty of low, medium, and high are not all that difficult. The game’s challenge, as a result, is more limited in comparison to other Sudoko apps. It would be great if there was another level of difficulty or two. The hint feature is also rather limited, it offers only a question mark (?) to identify target squares. It would be helpful to have a tiered hint that explains the logic of identifying solutions as a way of building skill over multiple plays. The app would also benefit from a notes feature so you can record possible numbers by cell in the grid. The recorded notes would be updated automatically based on solved squares. The game has a nice victory celebration at the end of each win, tiered achievements, and points accumulated toward these achievements that add a fun factor over and above the UI, sound affects, and animations.

I'm a dabbler. I've maybe done 30 sudoku puzzles on paper. I don't like the "Challenger" level. This Mobility Ware Sudoku game is really good. I can choose from a variety of difficulties and switch from one to the other at will. Unlike a book. The first 10 puzzles are easy and then they get more and more difficult. I throw the book away half the way through it.

  • Good game, but could be improved May 30, 2020

This is no different than other sudoku games available, and it works as it should. The color option would be great for beginners. I was really hoping it would work the other way - I tap a number at the bottom, it highlights the number, then just tap all the spots it goes in, instead of tap the spot, tap the number, tap the spot, tap the number, and so on and so on and on. It would be much less frustrating and time consuming that way!

I like how I can highlight a square and see clearly all the numbers related to it. I don't like how the 'hint' gives the answer. I would prefer the 'hint' to just indicate the most obvious square to re-check - which is what I thought it was doing at first. Also, the hardest level suits me but what about the next level?

  • Have to guess on Hard Mode Jul 11, 2020

    By Bdawg2178
Game is fine otherwise, but seemingly every single puzzle on Hard Mode requires you to guess to finish, once you’ve inputted all of the numbers that are correct without guessing. I recommend medium instead if you don’t want to be staring at your phone screen for 10 minutes doing nothing.
