Love the idea & the app, but it has a few drawbacks that make it difficult to use consistently. 1st, I don't always remember to log in through stormx to do my checking out, so I've missed out on hundreds of dollars of purchases this month. 2nd, if the app was easy to shop in, I wouldn't have to worry about the issue #1. The app is atrocious for shopping/browsing stores through the app. Can't get logged into some stores, can't navigate on others. Back button will have you starting over, etc.

more lessLove this app. I am making money and I love how they pay out at a reasonable amount. I have cashed out at least six times in the passed two months. I’m not making a fortune but I absolutely love it! Every dollar counts for me and I love how they always have new games or tasks so I don’t play the same old boring game all of the time. I get 1 in 5 surveys to work. So the surveys are hit or miss for me but the games always pay out. Once they had maintenance and one of my game progress was missing. Support made sure I got the credit when the task was completed. Just read the instructions before taking on a task and you will know what to do to meet their qualifications. Stormx defrauded investors who bought into their ICO by creating a new token then refusing to swap their old tokens to the new ones that they conveniently whisked up (unless you did it within an arbitrary 7 month time frame which has now passed, meaning if you didn't hear about it from them you lose everything). Hope the SEC and other regulatory bodies get onto them.

more lessI honestly never really write reviews but i honestly really love Stormx. the team behind it is great and are constantly finding ways to improve. there’s so many places you can buy from that i never expected to be on there like Nike, CDKeys, and even Kroger. The app is incredibly easy to use, it basically pulls up the website on the app and you just make your purchase like usual. they also have a google chrome extension for windows which makes shopping a little easier since it’s on the computer. I can’t wait for them to add new stores i really wish they had more electronics like maybe Newegg or Bestbuy but i’m sure that’ll come with time.

Plus, I was able to stake my StormX to get MORE REWARDS & FASTER!!!! Forget Doge or those other meme coins…. I literally sold all my other crypto & invested in crypto that doesn’t do anything. Works great, Customer Service not so much
more lessBeen using this app since beta and have completed many tasks. However, some of the tasks take a long time and will suddenly disappear. When I file a service ticket a generic response is sent implying that I’ve not completed the task. So I send a response with a screen shot and only after remaining persistent will I receive credits. Twice I only received partial credit.

It's a good concept, but the past few times I've played games to get rewards, the reward disappears before I'm able to complete it. It'll say in the rules "within 20 days of installing" and I'll go check on the status within 7, and the reward info isn't even available. This has happened to me twice. It doesn't even store it in my history. I'm frustrated.

Great app. Great payout. After the latest changes though games in progress aren't shown and are automatically delisted after being downloaded. No way to check progress or review criteria for completing the task. Support said to send them a screenshot of completed task. Haven't tried it yet though so not sure if you'll be credited.

So far it's an ok app. My main issue is that if you do any extra task for bonus bolts it doesn't credit so you have to email support which then takes forever to get back to you. You actually have to contact them multiple times and then when they do finally decide to resolve it you get a quarter of the total reward.

I only rate this at MOST 3 stars because it has helped out in my ETH bag hodlings.. However, as of late it's been hard to finish tasks when they disappear from the "in progress" section of the app, this has already happened twice before, which thankfully were not in purchase tasks. Recently I completed a task and submitted an issue with screenshots, took days to respond and was told to send more screenshots.. at which point I only received half of what I was promised..this app has gone downhill

This release contains an update to the Information Consent screen, which is displayed to new users and collects their consent to use the StormX app and its services. We have made several UI updates, with the most notable being the Staking screen which has been redesigned to improve usability. Shopping cashback rates now display the rate you’ll receive because of your membership, as opposed to just the base cashback rate.
This release contains improvements to the social share feature that provides default text when sharing to Twitter. A tracking permission screen was added for iOS users in order to collect their IDFA before starting shopping journeys from specific stores. This permission allows us to track user activity from ad campaigns to shopping purchases. Also, we now support PDF uploads when submitting support tickets, so users can more easily add receipts in the format they get them from merchants.
There are several noteworthy changes included in this release. The most important changes are to the UI for Members. Rewards, and Settings. The Members tab has been given its own prominent status within the UI in order to better promote its value for shopping benefits. Rewards has been re-designed to better improve visibility and UX, and Settings has moved to the upper navigation to reflect its overarching role across different functionality areas.
The primary focus of this release is migrating our transactional push notifications to a new provider. All pre-existing English language push notifications have been updated for better deliverability, and deep links have been included as well so users are delivered to the relevant page within the app. Besides push notifications, some minor UI changes are also included in this release.

Users can now easily share shopping rewards on various social media platforms. We’ve also improved attribution tracking in order to better support our marketing and advertising efforts.
KuCoin integration for membership wallets is now available! By generating an API key on a desktop browser, you can now use your STMX balance on KuCoin toward your membership requirement. Doing so provides a quick and gas-free way to gain membership benefits.
Our last release of 2021 — we’ve fixed several bugs to improve the stability and user experience of the application. In addition, we’ve added FTX and [Gate.io](http://Gate.io) as options for users seeking to purchase STMX as part of the Upgrade Membership flow. FTX and Gate.io have also been added to the Buy Crypto flow, which users can access from the Settings page.

We’ve fixed some important bugz!! 🐛 The average tracking time for you purchase to be recognized is fixed. We’ve also removed the ability to add Coinbase email as a wallet type. They are having some issues so its best to remove it for now with the intention of adding it back in later. Lastly, we added a new screen during the on-boarding view to ask users if they’d like to connect a wallet. Thats it 😊

Leaderboard is updated! We'll start doing monthly prizes for shopping soon so stay tuned on our Twitter. No more waiting :) Lastly, we fixed a bug that prevented users from starting a shopping trip because of ad tracking permissions.
Buy Bitcoin, Ethereum and the top cryptocurrencies right from our app using MoonPay! Your friends can also use their referral codes if the link isn't working. Play tasks will now show up in the History view instead of the side menu. The old referral system has also been turned off. Lastly, history view has received a UI update. The store icons appear next to your shopping trips so its easier to find.

This release contains an update to the Information Consent screen, which is displayed to new users and collects their consent to use the StormX app and its services. We have made several UI updates, with the most notable being the Staking screen which has been redesigned to improve usability. Shopping cashback rates now display the rate you’ll receive because of your membership, as opposed to just the base cashback rate. Lastly, we have added some functionality that allows us to better launch and remove new shopping promotions.
This release contains improvements to the social share feature that provides default text when sharing to Twitter. A tracking permission screen was added for iOS users in order to collect their IDFA before starting shopping journeys from specific stores. This permission allows us to track user activity from ad campaigns to shopping purchases. Also, we now support PDF uploads when submitting support tickets, so users can more easily add receipts in the format they get them from merchants.
There are several noteworthy changes included in this release. The most important changes are to the UI for Members. Rewards, and Settings. The Members tab has been given its own prominent status within the UI in order to better promote its value for shopping benefits. Rewards has been re-designed to better improve visibility and UX, and Settings has moved to the upper navigation to reflect its overarching role across different functionality areas.
In addition, some smaller changes accompany the major UI improvements. The ‘Connect Wallet’ screen has been removed in order to reduce onboarding friction, and WazirX has been added as an available exchange to buy STMX for international, non-US users. Lastly, users who logout will have their device removed from their named user on Airship, which is a device management best practice for sending/receiving push notifications.
The primary focus of this release is migrating our transactional push notifications to a new provider. All pre-existing English language push notifications have been updated for better deliverability, and deep links have been included as well so users are delivered to the relevant page within the app. Besides push notifications, some minor UI changes are also included in this release.
Several areas of the application have been redesigned in order to provide a more modern and clean user interface. The splash screen and login page are the two most notable changes. In addition, we’ve updated the Shop detail page in order to make offer exclusions more manageable within the UI. The referral widget has been turned into a card that lives within the main Shop feed.
We’ve also implemented a new push notification service, which will provide users with greater awareness of new stores and promotions.

KuCoin integration for membership wallets is now available! By generating an API key on a desktop browser, you can now use your STMX balance on KuCoin toward your membership requirement. Doing so provides a quick and gas-free way to gain membership benefits.
Our last release of 2021 — we’ve fixed several bugs to improve the stability and user experience of the application. In addition, we’ve added FTX and Gate.io as options for users seeking to purchase STMX as part of the Upgrade Membership flow. FTX and Gate.io have also been added to the Buy Crypto flow, which users can access from the Settings page.
FTX is only available for non-US users, while Gate.io is available for both US and non-US users.

Buy Bitcoin, Ethereum and the top cryptocurrencies right from our app using MoonPay! Your friends can also use their referral codes if the link isn't working. Play tasks will now show up in the History view instead of the side menu. The old referral system has also been turned off. Lastly, history view has received a UI update. The store icons appear next to your shopping trips so its easier to find.
