  • It’s great but it could use some polishing Jul 5, 2020

It’s an amazing way to simplify the original game and to expand the store after the unbidden. I’ve never played the original game until I get it soon, but this game makes me have the feel that I’ll love the actual game, but there’s a few things that need more enlightenment and fixes like bugs of course, and more information about the stats of the ships, combos and it’s effects, and more events to the sever life span. :P

Paradox didn’t make this game. Paradox just wrote a couple paragraphs and let a Chinese company run their IP into the ground with terrible service and buggy gameplay. Support pretends to care and in fact will respond to you until you send the Screenshot proof that the error occurs. They the never respond and ignore you as much as curry lamb does to HK. But this game is just a list of stolen assets with a paradox skin since the real Hong Kong developers know that paradox gamers tend to spend and buy up those DLC. Still it could have been a decent game while your playing a real paradox game. But the greed and lack of commitment means this game and its server will be long dead before Stellaris DLC stop coming.

I would rate higher except that you hit a paywall. That's not to say that it's pay to win but as with pretty much every game similar to this you reach a point where the time it takes to upgrade is ridiculous. I feel like that slows you from getting caught up with everyone else and in a PVP game that's not really helpful.

I know that this will be quite different. But there's always room for improvement, especially the tutorial i would say. I know paradox tutorial kinda throw you into a cliff, i guess that's paradox 'feature'. I played like half an hour only trying to find where i can see the other resources. And still facing problem losing credits by day (as it say,ill check tommorow) and i can't seem figure out how to produce it more. So far quite intrigued and boring not quite what i feel when i play the pc ver

The names Stellaris and Paradox Interactive set certain expectations for fans of strategy games. Unfortunately, Stellaris: Galaxy Command is yet another shallow, boring mobile clicker game designed to pull money from your wallet like air sucked into the vacuum of space. The game opens with a lengthy cutscene — choose voice-acted and partially animated — that sets a scene of recolonizing the galaxy after an invasion from some unspecified interdimensional threat. Then, the player is unceremoniously dumped onto a screen of a space station orbiting a planet. The player is instructed to place and upgrade shipyards, warehouses, and radar stations. No context for what these buildings do is provided, and each upgrade is just and incremental percentage increase to speed up some timer. The game is training you to get in the rhythm of plunking something down and then pressing a button labeled “Free” to “speed up” the building process, because after five minutes of this busywork, that button suddenly costs a currency. Pay up, or wait the five minutes for it to finish. Those expecting to find any semblance of strategy here — or better, a proper port of this game‘s namesake to mobile devices — will be sorely disappointed. The art assets are the only thing that made the jump. Stellaris: Galactic Command is a wholely different game, and all it requires of you is occasionally pressing buttons to start timers and authorizing purchases to your credit card to speed them up.

  • Objectively bad game. Aug 24, 2020

    By Hnnnngh
Besides not deserving the Stellaris name at all, the game is extremely pay-to-win and incredibly boring. Combat is overly risky as a bad fight or leaving your ships out can cost you weeks of real-life time, along with pay-to-win players simply being able to pay to speed their ships up faster than yours besides having massively disproportionately-sized fleets, removing all actual tactics from the game. PvE (fighting pirates or events) is extremely unrewarding as well, with drop rates for anything useful being so painfully low that it kills any motivation to do it, especially considering repairing from fights takes hours to days. There’s very little thought into building the base, as there are specific buildings, most of which are useless, required to upgrade your core building which allows you bigger ships, and bigger ships are all that matter in combat. Exploration is boring as well and often unrewarding, as there are only a few events repeated ad nauseam throughout the entire galaxy. Most, if not all, in game rewards seem like a joke at how useless they are. The servers are slow, buggy, and often down. The UI is a mess and very little of the game is actually explained, leaving many of the mechanics a mystery. Just an overall disappointment of a game, and, frankly, PDX has lost my future support after such an obvious cash grab of a terrible mobile game.

I was actually hoping for a genuine Stellaris experience, instead of just a typical free-to-play. This looks like the basic microtransaction formula, dressed in an appealing skin. You have the "pay to skip waiting" mechanic. And you can buy bundles of in-game resources. And you are constantly reminded to do this. Android notifications are pestering you to come back and play the game. It even has the silly goal/reward system with 3 small goals, known from any free -to-play game. Very sad indeed.

I had just started the game a few days again and was really enjoying it. Having just got a level 11 Nexus I had a lot to get started on. However this morning it kicked me off the game for server maintenance. Well it would not let me log back on all day. Continually giving me a server maintenance error. The link to the developers website was fairly useless since it just reloaded the page every time I selected the “contact us” button. I decided to try reinstalling the app, and lost all of my progress. As a type of game that has unlockables and upgrades behind time barriers, it’s completely pointless if you can loose all your progress from a single update. I can only hope the developers notice this and have some way of assisting as I did enjoy the game thus far, even spending some money on it.

Look I love stellaris but because someone wanted to bully me through the game they attacked me constantly before I teleported out of the system and I’m now stuck in battle mode if it could fix this I would be happy. And obviously more stars but I Legit can’t play the game because of this.

The people who say this game is pay to win are losers. Just because u are bad at the game doesn’t mean u have to hate on it. I have never spent a dollar but I am in a nice friendly alliance who gave me ec for free they traded me for it super cheap and I sold it to the super expensive.

Love the game but am not impressed with the length of time between advancing. It takes to long to gain strength in your fleets and ship building times. Other than that a solid game that is amazing to play.

The original game is just amazing, and the recent update to consoles make it much like the PC version of the game. But this app is great for a simple smartphone version of the game. It’s still quite fun but I’d suggest also buying the game and the expansions/DLCs on PC or console.

Good game, pretty baffling if you don't pay attention to the tutorial like I did, probably as close to the PC version as you can get it for a Phone game. There are micro transactions but so far I've not hit any walls that I'd have to buy anything to stay ahead of the game.

This is a great game for what it is. Could use some improvements. Could be better with future updates. Join a competent alliance. First day may be rough with all the upgrading but upgrades quickly take days to complete so there’s less micromanaging them. Either you like this type of game or you don’t, but it’s good for what it is. Very similar, but better, to Nova.

It is quite different from the pc version but of course it will be different since it is in mobile, nothing from other platform will be the same to the other, but so far i enjoy playing, the gameplay the graphics (of course in high) and the small animations like the battle animation is smooth even tho a bit boring bcuz it have less effects and the camera controls are very hard to maneuver so hope to change it soon.

  • Server problems Sep 15, 2020

    By John3433hamilton
Enjoying the game so far even though there is no guide to help you understand how to play the game. The problem I am having is that the login sometimes has a problem logging in and the caption pops up “trying to find the nearest server”. Last night it said it was going through maintenance. I don’t know where the game inventor is, but maintenance overnight would be the best bet. I have almost deleted this game and was going to download a new game if this type.

It's pretty good. Fun especially with an active alliance, but obviously it's a pay to win game. I'd like if there were more opportunities to get higher tier speedups in the game, but it's mainly 5 or 15 min speedups.

Very similar to Age of Empires and those type of games. I'm not a fan of those games but ig this adds a unique spin to it if you like space games. However this makes it pay to way and I don't feel like spending money on a mobile game when paradoxs PC games already cost $100 a piece with all the dlcs. Overall this isn't a bad game if you like the type, but if you came from the computer version of Stellaris this is a bit of a let down.

Spend money, or don't bother. Tactics and upgrades are nearly useless at the rate you get them, which is the entire point of this system of game - microtransactions to add up to big money for the developer. Game is not stable on Android (repeatedly has disconnects and glitches research and alliance missions frequently). Can have some good interactions with teammates, but that is really the game's strongest point.

How are you gonna release this as a paradox game this is a disgrace to the paradox name. You guys are the leaders in strategy games I thought you guys were against pay to win and microtransactions and actually wanted to make a good game that requires strategy for mobile. Civ 6 and total war is the only good games in the genre on mobile I thought you were just gonna take the game and scale it down a little bit so it was mobile friendly but no you just make some crappy game that’s just another in the endless pile of pay to win games. You should really make a scaled down version of eu4 or something and charge like 5 or 10 bucks I’m sure tons of people would buy it but make it no microtranctons and single player only just focus on making good games and not crap like this that will ruin your reputation.

Crashes often, you have to cycle through three error 0 and one server maintance 4 before the game will start. Extremely frustrating, will crash in Extremely inconvenient times, Extremely buggy, which surprises me because the ship models are all flat so you'd think they'd have no problem rendering the rest of the screen. If you don't mind losing everything because the game crashed at a crucial moment this is the game for you Edit: Making my phone hot. The game is starting to run slower. ERROR 0

Garbage game. They ripped off our entire server for our battle pass rewards. I paid for the pass and the closed it way too early. Devs never respond to you on socials or if you open tickets. I've sent multiple messages over the past few months about a variety of issues and have never once received a response. Save your time and money.
