    Staples is a good app it’s updated its clean it’s fresh I found a work around for the log in bug you turn WiFi off and use cellular don’t ask why that works, but I also can’t add my rewards card to apple wallet I had it before but when I tried to uninstall and reinstall all that it still won’t let me add it it says “Rewards” this device doesn’t support apple wallet feature which makes zero sense since I’m on an IPhone X so please fix that bug in the meantime I found a work around using Stocard and adding it to that hitting share and add to wallet it’s not as fluid to get to the card but it’ll do until this bug is fixed

    I was expecting to see an estimated shipping date prior to completing my checkout but didn't get a date shown until after I completed the payment. Disappointing because I would have possibly chosen another venue had I known I will have to wait 8 days for it to arrive. Also, because the purchase included free shipping if I had been offered to pay for faster shipping service I may have chosen that option instead but there wasn't any. Also disappointing. Perhaps the website is more inclusive of these options but using the smartphone is handier so updating the app to include more options prior to completing the purchase would be my suggestion.

    I shop this store for computers, printers and all office supplies because of exceptional help by store manager: JONATHAN. This individual is extremely professional, helpful, listens to customers and is very bright. He follows up with questions, problems and is good at solutions. Been a loyal customer for over 6 yrs because of this terrific employee. It makes a difference when there is good management and concern for customers satisfaction.

    When I purchase online to pickup in store, I have to keep changing the location to my home address but every time it automatically reverts back to my work address - even within the same checkout screen. So this doesn’t happen again I guess I need to delete my work info so there is only one address showing. If and when I order something for my company I will enter new info or better yet set up a separate account. I guess the website is not capable of handling more than one address per name.

    They are a wonderful company and I love the app. I’m walking through the building I forgot to place my order I had on the computer back in the office so I just pulled out my phone and clicked the app and placed my order. I didn’t have to walk back to my desk to place the order it was just beautiful without even having to look up anything it was all in my cart already.

    Staples did not have my ink in store and salesperson said I could order from website. They did have Canon black ink but not color ink. Waited over a week to send order with color but never had. So order some Hammermill Copy Cover I use for greeting cards, so I would not lose my coupon. I guess COVID has affected stock too. I do love Staples, and used their laser printer for pictures Which is very reasonable. BJS

    I have only had great experiences with shopping at staples on line. I have used Staples for my jobs for years and the service and products were always top of the line. Now I use Staples for my own business while retired and still continue to receive excellent service and top quality products. Thank you.

    The app claims to work with Apple Pay, but in reality the transaction never makes it out of “pending” status — compared to in-store use of Apple Pay that gets posted in a day. Staples could at least be honest with customers about this bug, but instead the leaves customers in limbo. Need one-hour pickup? Forget about that if using Apple Pay…

    It is not the first time my order has been over a $100 and the app says invalid coupon showing just one item instead of the total and applying the coupon. It’s best to shop in the store but many times I buy from somewhere else because I don’t have time to deal with the app problems.

    Staples may not be able to continue Free Delivery after COVID, but it certainly was an incentive to make me a regular customer. This App is so simple to use it makes shopping easy. The delivery is outstanding; the products arrive quickly and are packed professionally. Staples has been a godsend during the pandemic, where millions of us are forced to work from home.

    If you're patient, you can find what you're looking for... e.v.e.n.t.u.a.l.l.y. The app constantly hangs for 10-20 seconds (no exaggeration) as you scroll thru product info pages, doing who knows what in the background. The words frustrating and infuriating come to mind. But...search results are accurate and very precise. Spot on, you'll find what you need. Just...put on a pot of tea/coffee before you try to use the app. Kind of embarrassing for a company that sells technology.

    This app is the pits. I tried twice to enter my credit card information, and error messages come up, saying that the CVV number isn't there when it is. Judging from some other comments here, I'm suspecting it's because I chose not to in the settings keep the payment information stored in the app for future purchasing, but I will not do that, especially for a company like this. I then called up CUSTOMER SERVICE which of course was outsourced to some other country to someone with an accent I could barely understand, and he offers to take the order by phone. After doing so, I asked him why isn't my order in the app so I can see if it is correct and also get the tracking information because it's coming in a couple of days. He lied to me and says he will tell the technical support people that it's not showing up in the app along with the other problem of the credit card feature not working. Then I read another comment here saying only Staples online orders show up in the app! The one I placed over the phone won't even show here, and I need that info in my app so I can remember what I bought and when so I know what I have bought & put in stock, and I only like to use apps to do that! I am not signing into their crappy website to see if there are any orders missing from a long list, that isn't happening!!! When this order arrives, that will be my last one! Goodbye STAPLES!

    The app is extremely glitchy. Navigating the app does not flow smoothly. Trying to scroll is very sluggish. Also, when I add something to my cart, it automatically takes me to my cart without an easy option to get back to my shopping. Ultimately I need to go back into the search bar and re-enter the page I was on. But mostly, the bugs... they need to get rid of the bugs & glitches it makes the entire experience very choppy.

    No point in getting this app. Just use website. Very clunky for shopping store of your choice without enabling location. Can't see if product is available at your store without an account. Been trying to shop for over 30 min. Very heavy-handed in trying to get personal info to just browse. If I didn't like the store at all I'd stop shopping there because of the app experience. Uninstallling now. Fix your UI UX!

    What a POS app. Hangs, lags, lags, hangs, then freezes. Get with the times Staples. Your app is a total piece of garbage. Unusable on every occasion I've tried it. Garbage. 0 stars for total lack of functionality/any iota of useability. It has literally never worked for me, on three separate occasions, months apart. Trash. Feed it to the racoons.

    Terrible website and service. I ordered ink cartridges for my Canon MP530 printer. Before finalizing the order I called the local Staples store to ensure that I was correctly using the Staples App before finalizing my purchase. The Staples representative said that I was and so I completed the purchase. In my order I also purchased a copy of Turbo Tax. I then received an email informing me that my order was ready for pickup. However, when I arrived for pickup I was told the only item available was the Turbo Tax and the ink cartridges would not be available until the end of April. With Covid 19 I try not to make any unnecessary trips so to waste my time with Staple is more than frustrating. I will not shop at Staples again. If I could give Staples a score of zero I would.

    This still opens similar to Staples site, will we ever have an App like before? Original review: Hey Staples, are you going to bring back the App as of before the latest update? You don't deserve even one star now. Good App became Horrible App. The App is gone, it goes to website. Like in 2021, a company is so inconsiderate to check their simple App before releasing to make sure it works as before. If you don't know how to improve an App, just keep using what you already have.

    No matter what I do I can't sign in, my password and user name are correct, I also verified my email and it keeps telling me that my username and password don't match what's on file, I talked to staples and it's not them so it has to be the app, until this bug is fixed im going to have to Uninstaller the app sorry

    Installed on my NEW Pixel 4a and get an error message that something went wrong. Had the same issue on my girlfriend's phone. App use to work and hasn't in months. Had the issue on my previous phone too. Did a reset, clean install of all apps, and still errors on old phone, so this app just blows.

    Not able to complete a purchase for pickup, which is literally the point. App keeps wanting a shipping address even though I’ve selected pick up within an hour. Horrible user experience. If you accidentally swipe down you have to re-enter your billing information. Not able to paste email or password into the login fields. Better off using the website, especially since this app is nothing more than a poor implementation of a wrapper around the website itself. If I could give zero stars I would. Can’t understand how or why this app is so highly rated when, from my experience, it is absolute garbage. Feels like it was built by an intern.

    When adding items to cart consistently wrong items added. Tried to add specific type of scissors they were changed to a completely different type of scissors. Same thing happened with the printer ink. First time using updated version old version was much more reliable.

    New app no longer uses fingerprint authentication. App requires frequent sign in. App crashes frequently. Also, it seems like it's really a link to the Staples website instead of being a phone app. I uninstalled it.

    One item in my order was unavailable so I canceled that item and added a similar one, forgetting to mark it as ‘pick up in store’ like the rest of the order. All customer service on the phone could do was cancel the order - but they couldn’t guarantee that it would actually cancel, it might ship anyhow. Going on the app, the navigation is poor to what has been ordered, what’s ready for pick up, what’s in processing, etc. Turned out to be a frustrating experience.

    Said there were two in stock at my store. Made the trip and no one could find them. Doesn’t list where they are stocked like Lowe’s. Manager threw up his hands. Should list row where items are. And should be sure stock listing is accurate. Other store listed two in stock, so called and they confirmed before making the trip. The idea of an app is to save time, but the info has to be accurate and the help needs to take all more seriously. That store still says there are two though no one could find them.

    Latest update changed it to just be the same as the website. Barcode scanning is gone and the ink lookup tool is harder to access. Edit: The IPhone app never changed only the android version did. The Developers are now falsely claiming an available update is available which it is not.

    I went to place an on line order and an old address popped up when I was completing my order. Changed it to my present address but when I completed the order, the original wrong address was assigned to my order. I immediately called customer service and they told me it was already shipped. I told them it was impossible because it was only submitted five minutes earlier. After 30 minutes I was assured it was corrected. The next day it was delivered to the wrong address. When I called to complain I was given the run around and after another 30 minutes, I hung up. Never again!!!
