While I can easily get lost on my phone following bogs and social media, SparkBible offers an edifying alternative: to read through God’s Word and hear nourishing words from sound teachers. Im thankful to be using this app for daily Bible study and for the commentators who help explain the text.

Thank you! This app is exactly what I was looking for. Offline, easy to read, ad free. The Speakers/Teachers and the video lessons cover some intriguing topics. God bless, and keep up the good work! =]
  • Love what they’ve done with the embedded videos! May 2, 2020

My favorite part of this Bible app is all the videos connected to each chapter. Makes it so easy to discover and learn more about what you are reading from some of the best teachers and pastors around. It’s like an interactive Bible commentary for normal people.

Pretty cool. but, if you've no data plan for your phone, the app has no use. would give it a 5* but at least let me read the text while being offline and I can catch up on the videos when I get wifi access 😀
  • Pastor cannot recommend this enough! Aug 1, 2020

As a pastor I cannot recommend this Bible enough! There’s nothing more that I desire then my peers to be able to access and study scripture. This provides an easy and free way for people to dig deeper into any passage! I love this so much.

Great app! Would love for it to allow for more offline usage, but the quick linkage to so many resources is simply gold!
  • Dope App - Still some mistake Jun 6, 2020

The app is great. Download it. There are some texts missing, like the majority of John 8 (even the original parts). I’ll update this with what’s missing in the future as well. It’s a new app, though, so that shouldn’t stop you from downloading it. Overall, the app is really cool and I’d suggest it to anyone.

  • Calvinism Leaning, Poor Bible App design Jun 22, 2020

What can I say about this bible app that can sum it up as a whole? Great idea bad execution. There is severe Calvinist bias which calls into question biblical accuracy in regards of teaching. Bible translations are again Calvinism bent with the NKJV, CSB, amplified and NIV missing. Lastly it’s resource section is basically a YouTube collection of Calvinism’s top 25 teachers. Overall I recommend Tecarta Bible App and Olive Tree. Both have non bias translations as well as deep text resources for the Christians to study. Cost is very low for great resources and most importantly you can avoid Calvinism all together in your biblical learning. I do not recommend this bible app at all. Erick Miller spreaker.com/youinhd

Needs New Living Translation and media needs English closed captioning or subtitles.

  • Great resource but doesn’t have my bible versions Jun 4, 2020

I really like this app. The only problem is I use the NIV or CSB versions. If it had even one of these versions it would be my only Bible app.

Why so few Bible versions? I don’t see the following popular versions: New American Standard Bible Christian Standard Bible New Living Translation
