Not for good players
Oct 25, 2018 Because of the Blind Nil hack, playing partners is a waste of time. whoever calls blind nil first wins. Playing solo, they game is fun unless you have a high winning percentage. If you are a good player and have a high percentage you will seldom get dealt more than two books at a time. The only way to win is by others mistakes. this is why the large percentage of players are average - players with higher percentage wins don’t play this game anymore. The “add friends” feature is useless, as is the chat feature. It is also very slow. Nice interface though. Can someone recommend a Spades game there actually uses random dealing???more -

May 11, 2020 Enjoying the game but like any spades you need to also predict (guess) what the next player will bid. If there’s a total of 11 bids they will probably go BN. Adjust the 3rd bid to lower the sway the 4th bidder.

The problem is that the game mixes players in different games modes at the same table (teams vs individual) and/or there is a common exploit used to help players see their cards before choosing whether to go blind nil. The app shows you other players’ stats and most make blind nil nearly 90% of the time, and this isn’t because it’s rare. People try blind nil most games, and often where it doesn’t make sense—there are 4 bags out there, it’s the first bid, etc.—and yet it’s always successful. I’ve been reporting players, but nothing seems to change. Maybe it’s badly programmed bots. I don’t know, but it ruins the game.more -

Nov 7, 2020 First it was so predictable. You always knew what was going to happen. Now I can’t get more than one or two spades EVERY SINGLE HAND! I deleted the app. There’s no chance to use skill now at all. You can’t possibly win when you get virtually zero tricks. Cards are too high to play nil but you don’t get squat to even get ten points every round. Pathetic. I’m so done.more -

What’s Groovy
I love this game! I’ve been playing it for a while now and it has become my go to app when I’m bored. I only have an issue with how slow it is sometimes. Especially when you can spin the wheel and collect more coins. I’ve spun it several times and won a substantial amount of coins but once I hit the “collect” button nothing is there and the screen goes to the main menu page where you can play. It’s really strange and kind of annoying. Otherwise it’s a great app!

What’s Subpar
I can almost predict when an opponent is going to go blind nil, and they get it every time!! The probability of a blind nil win in real life early impossible, yet it happens about every 3 games in this app. It’s incredibly frustrating to say the least. I was curious if everyone else has this problem and found tons of other bad reviews about it!!! Responses on these reviews say they’ll forward it to the “concerned support team,” but apparently they aren’t that concerned.
Also, the ads after every hand our extremely annoying, especially because it’s so hard to get out of the ad before you can either exit the game or bid your hand. I’ve also read many negative reviews on this topic, with the same response as above.
