Big fan of the series. Space Marshals 1 and 2 are easily some of my favorite games on the app store. If you’re a fan of the series, then expect more of what you love from this installment. Though the amount of content for the price is a bit small compared to previous games, most of the levels are just as large and complex as some of the best levels from Space Marshals 2 (not including Ava’s storyline), and the game looks just as great if not better than it’s ever been. A concern I have, however, is the new gear score system. I like that Pixelbite is trying to balance out the game by making players put more thought into choosing their gear and discouraging usage of overpowered gear as they sometimes make the levels too easy (Knoge Electron). However, I’m not sure if this is the best way to go about it. The cool new gear we get at the end of every level is the main physical reward of the game, and the new gear score system somewhat dampens the excitement the player gets from getting a new gun or new suit of armor and makes the player feel punished for trying to build their ideal character from their available gear. I don’t know if there’s a good solution for this, except maybe making the score more generous as the player gets better gear. P.S. please bring back the Armach OT-Magnum. The King Cobra was great, but nothing feels quite like lining up three enemies and taking them out with one shot.

Incredible once again. A ton of new mechanics, including the gear level system, and new boss takedowns, that makes this feels really different than previous entries. More than worth the 5 bucks. Replayability is super high. Also, if you read the game description, it literally says try before you buy, so there are no tricks here. It's a shame that one of the best games I've played in a while ( and that is definitely better than SM 1 and 2) has such a low rating due to misunderstandings.

Again, I have to stress that Pixelbite is one of the best iOS developers (since my iPhone 4). I’d love to see them make some bigger triple-A titles, or participate in the Apple Arcade program. With the amazing performance of the first Apple Silicon, and this team’s passion, they could become an amazing 1st-class studio imho. Cheers.

PixelBite did it again. I just finished the first chapter and I loved it! This so far is the best game of the 3. The genius gear rank system keeps space marshals balanced and rewarding. When I first wrote this review I was skeptical about the price. But I must say it was worth it because the step up in price certainly matches the step up in quality. The graphics are much improved with the gameplay being slightly improved. It just feels more deliberate as the level design keeps improving as well. All things considered Space Marshals 3 is overall a great game. I highly recommend any to purchase the whole game. Some thing I highly request for future updates is multiplayer. I know that’s a huge request but it would be so much fun if ever possible. There could be PVP, co-op bounties, and heists. Or if you could assemble a crew with friends and compete for the highest rank against other crews doing things I mentioned. All of it could be used to acquire gear and weapon customization but for online multiplayer or a fancier crew hideout. Just a thought. My other thought was if you introduced a level designer. That would give this game practically unlimited potential. Maybe something for the future.

A great mobile title in the making. No pay to win or any hidden charges. Just purchase the chapter and you are good to go. Items unlocks depending on how well you perform. Seaech out coins in the levels to purchase additional weapons from bazaar

This is my very first review on an app or game I’ve never written a review before but this is just hard to ignore the game is hands down one of the best if not the best game on mobile phone I’ve ever played it’s so beautifully designed and thought of. I love the story and the combat. I love having the option to either approach a mission with stealth or just charge in or do both. Controls are very simple nothing complicated which I really love and honestly i was hoping that a 3rd game would come out and you guys made it happen which is amazing I could not believe it when I saw it and above all it’s for free! There are few things I would love to see improved in future versions or games from this developer and that is to include a voice over I think that would make it even a better more immersive experience, also I’ve played the 2nd game and to me I don’t see that much improvement in graphics wise which are not bad at all it just something I have noticed besides that it’s amazing game I love it thank you so much for it!

Love the space marshall series one of the top mobile games yet developed, the third series is great but not a fan of the new way to get weapons Im not a avid gamer hence the mobile platform it feels like it's tooled for a pro that knows what to do but it's an open world concept which is awesome but it makes it unclear where next it's so hard to get good guns if you keep dying. I can't wait for Chapter 2. Maybe a zero g aspect? We are in space.

I’m glad the developers are continuing with this series. This third installation of Space Marshals does not disappoint. The controls work as they have for the previous entries, so no new learning curve with that. There’s a bit of a puzzle element if one is to pursue the stealth approach at every stage, and that’s what I like the game for — stealth takedowns. I have no issue with the pay-per-chapter model. If it’s fun to play, then I’ll gladly pay for what they bring to it. Personally, I’d like to see some underwater levels with Burton in some scuba gear with a harpoon or something like that. He’s been in just about every other environment except that. Or, perhaps on a small motorboat or personal watercraft, where you control the craft to get to a location (rather than being flown in all of the time). I hope the devs continue to bring more where this franchise is concerned. I look forward to more chapters, and more titles in the future.

Well worth it. Space marshals is one of the greatest game series ever created. It has humor, combat, stealth, challenges, customizable equipment loadouts, and high replay value. I'm sorry folks with lower end devices, but if you admit that having an older/lower spec device makes it hard to play a BRAND NEW game, don't downrate the dev. Console games don't play on older gen consoles, but at least you can still play this game. They even let you demo a level to see how well it works before paying..

Loved the first 2 games. But this one has a gear score system that punishes you for equipping and using better gear. Most of the items seem nerfed from the previous entries at well. Was more frustrating than fun.

I feel like the devs phoned it in on this one. No where near as enjoyable as the 1st & 2nd games. The gear is terrible, I ended up playing the while game with the rifle I got from the 1st or second level. The gear score challenge makes it impossible to get the "best" gear as the enemies are far to difficult from the get go. Hopefully the next chapter adresses the issues.
  • Worst game ever. Don’t waste your money. Dec 22, 2020

    By Imthatyeti
Glad y’all made a third part. Sad I had to pay $5 just to play the game. And only chapter 1 at that smh. Any way. Design a button specifically to be in stealth mode. The idea of pressing anywhere on the screen to activate stealth mode is stupid. The toggle buttons are small and I constantly hit the “screen” and I get out of stealth mode by accident when I’m right in front of an enemy and then they kill me. Like wth please fix that. I literally was 90% done with a mission. I left the game to take a pic real quick and game reset. Lost all my progress. Don’t waste your money. Very disappointed!

As a huge fan of the previous editions of this game, I was stoked when this came out. The annoying part about this game though is it completely eliminates combat and with its bizarre gear cap, the game feels pointless working your way through levels stealthily to get new gear that you can’t even use (gear cap) and the way the game discourages any open fighting. Feels like they need to decide if it’s a stealth or combat game. The previous versions did a good job balancing it. This version does an awful job of it.
  • Disappointed Dec 16, 2020

    By Blakrun
I’ve been playing this game since the first one, in fact the first game was free for a while before they slapped a price on it reasonably, but paying for chapters? I’d rather pay an upfront 20 bucks for a full game like the others instead of paying for content that comes over time, the only good thing I see coming out of this move is more content, but the paying for chapters and waiting for game content just ruins it.
  • Don’t get me wrong Nov 6, 2020

Really great game, at least from what I can tell from the 2 first not even missions before you have to pay $3.99 for chapter 1, but because you have to pay money to play the game it’s self, not even with multiplayer mind you, which makes this game a 1 star, maybe even 0 stars, again would be really fun, except the fact that you pretty much are buying the MOBILE game for an unreasonable amount of money despite the game being free to download, which is really ironic
  • Confusing waste of time Jan 29, 2021

    By Jbrisk
Confusing useless mazes, idiotic weapons limits, dark screens making it almost impossible to see anything, no way to pause the game and come back later without having to start over. And, what’s with all the stupid sneaking around you have to do to take down opponents—it’s a third person shooter not a third person sneaker for crying out load. Too frantic too much of the time—it’s a game, it’s not supposed to feel like work. Time to move on.
  • Not great Dec 18, 2020

    By kliegmanman
Space marshals one and two were much better than three. The reason I don’t like three very much is that it’s way too much about patience, not skill. I have to spend so much time just waiting for someone to move away or to have to go back to get more ammo. Seems like half the time I was playing my guy was just waiting.
  • A money grab. Dec 27, 2020

Okay, we all know this is amongst the finest mobile game series, period. What I am not a fan of is the pyramid pricing. Call me old school but I prefer to just pay a one time fee. If it is $15, fine. Instead, this price structure is meant to prey on the our addictions, get us hooked and wanting, then charge for each installments. It is shady and I hate it.
  • Throughly disappointed. Nov 15, 2020

    By Eathan M
Looks terrible, feels terrible. If you want a better experience, just play the first one or the second one. It feels like they cheapened the experience after one of the team leaders left or because of ‘rona. It’s a sad step for the series as a whole, as the 2nd ones was one of the finest games I have played.

I keep playing this game until I have unlocked everything!!! Very addicting and consistently looking back for chapter 2. If The chapters keep coming,.... then I’ll keep paying. I hope you guys have a quick way of generating stages for this game, because I finish the game way too fast. Soon I hope, you guys can add more ways to make the game (metal gear solidish) I mean I was never a big fan of disappearing bodies. Dragging and hiding bodies is also time consuming but fun. Or knocking on walls and leaving traps. Also brings me to a melee option if you are going to have dragging bodies. Also places to hide, in closets under tables where you can also drag enemies to hide them. Cameras with blind spots. And interact with objects to fool the enemy like car alarms or TVs. Other then this possible small upgrades. More chapters is just fine, lol. Maybe upgrades on the next game. Ohh thank you

Finally! So happy that Space Marshals 3 is here! Been waiting too long! One thing is that I feel in the beginning of the prologue, you’re just thrown into the story, (SPOILER), I thought the Artemis was destroyed at the end of Space Marshals 2 and was at the bottom of the ocean? Where did it come from? Second, my phone heats up like a toaster! It gets to the point that it starts to affect the phones functionality (IPhone X). What this means is I can only do one level then I have to exit the game and wait a while before I can play again. Did not have a problem with this on SM 1 and SM 2. Could be because game is significantly bigger. Other than those two things it is amazing!!!!!! Thanks for all you do and hope you can solve the superheating phone problem!!! If you have a solution... please respond to this review!
  • One of the best games available on IOS Nov 6, 2020

Great game - worth the price, which ends up being way cheaper than any pay to win offerings. Space Marshalls has been the best game with this top-down stealth/shooter direction for the whole series, and three is another excellent installment. The gameplay is executed perfectly with nice, balanced, difficulty. The look and feel are superb. Sneak mode makes every level into a difficult puzzle. I am not writing this to encourage anyway to buy it, just to let the developer know how much I enjoy it. I was actually looking for updates on the status of the next installment like two months ago so very surprised to see it show up. Thanks! Feedback for the dev, there seems to be an issue with resume after switching out of the app. If i switch to take a call resuming reloads to camp.

The team over at Pixelbite sent an email stating that the in-app purchases can now be shared across a family plan. This is very good news. I still don’t like the in-app ‘incremental’ purchase scheme (in the slightest — and would rather pay a full price up front), but the developers are aware and working to make it less painful. Cheers.

The third game is finally here! I've finished the second game because this game is awesome and fun! But there's an issue, the graphics. I know it's a new game and you want to put shiny graphics like reflections, high res textures, etc. I think it's pretty redundant. And because of that, this game now doesn't run well on my phone. Please make an option to make the graphics look like the previous game, because that game runs well on my phone, even with high settings. Please fix this!

The gameplay is good, and if you’ve played any of the previous installments, this continues in a similar vein. Love the stealth aspect. The concern at this point is that my progress does not seem to be saved while exiting in the middle of a mission. When you resume, it makes you start the mission all over again. Not sure if this is intended by the developers, as missions can take a long time, and the last thing you need is to be forced to restart, after almost reaching the end. Hoping this is a first version bug that will be resolved in an upcoming update.

Although I thoroughly enjoyed the previous games this one has gone WAY too far over to the stealth side. Almost no actual combat. Maybe I’m not the best player but it seems to require a lot of level grinding. Gets tedious going back through each level time after time. Oh, and what’s with the coins to buy equipment? Nothing good to buy except the frag grenade. I’ll still buy the next levels but not as happy this time around.

For Samsung users, using Game Launcher and Game Plug-ins can fix performance and overheating issues by reducing the refresh rate. Locking at 60hz on my Note 20 Ultra has made the game playable at max settings with no more lagging. As for the game itself, it's exactly what you would expect from Space Marshals. High quality game worth the money for a premium experience. No egregious micro transactions or monetization.
  • It needs a save option Nov 23, 2020

It’s a good game but I spent half an hour in one mission and I had to pause it. By the time I came back, my progress was gone I had to start the mission all over again. There needs to be an option to save the progress on the mission your in.
  • Ok; not great like the others Nov 16, 2020

I'd give 12 stars to the 1st 2 installments if i could. They were great! But it looks like y'all were asleep at the wheel on this one. Graphics quality and gameplay are pretty bad' especially compared to the others. Comedic aspect is still good tho.

I loved SM1 and SM2, so bought this one after I saw it. The game is still fun, the only problem I had so far is the lagging. I’m on iPad Air 4 (the latest version), so I think there is no reason this could’ve happened.

I wish the game was paid because it is a lot easier to get than purchasing a bunch of extra mission one at a time

I have played space marshals 1 and 2, they were both phenomenol games. I had high hopes for this too, but when I downloaded and started the game it was pitch black but when I tapped around and in between the screens I could hear some sounds when you tap. Plz fix this issue I really want to enjoy the game in its fullest. I will give 5 stars after playing.

The game play is as expected. I finished Chapter 1 but I don't see any way to access Chapter 2. If it needs to be purchased then just say so. The game play still heats up my Galaxy S8+ and sometimes hangs.

I really enjoyed your second game. This one, though with improved textures and lighting, heats up the phone to an unbearable level while draining the battery too quickly. Also, having finished the story, not as satisfying as the previous one. The third installment is good, but can be better.

In contrast to Space Marshals 2 this felt more like a dlc. New things were sparce and the equipment merely remade old stuff. Additionally the pricing has been increased drastically, more money for fewer levels, the first 10 levels cost 5€ (aprox. 5,60$). In both successors you paid 1 or 2 dollars less for more than double the levels. However gameplay was very enjoyable and the story quite engaging. I hope Pixelbite will return to their old pricing. Anyways have fun with this game

Before update, i can use High graphic with adjustment 92% resolution. After the update, ~~~ "Low settings" is the only option did not shake the camera view like hell... Yes it totally struggle to make the game for low end device but i can play Call of duty (HIGH GRAPHIC) with this low end device , don't make it an excuse just do what "Space Marshals 2" did... If not just put the PRICE TAG ! Maybe after put Price tag like the 1st Spacemarshals High End device player will come by..

The fact that we have to be restricted certain mount of weapon power makes trying to defeat the boss even harder when it doesn’t have to be because we just did a mission to earn that weapon so why do we have to have a certain level to use the weapon. For the most part graphics design are amazing and the storyline is even better so good job.
  • A little disappointed from previous fans Dec 29, 2020

    By Troublesonicgt903
I saw the price was raised from $4 to $5, but it’s not as long as the previous game, which is a bit disappointing... Just finished the game. Too expensive for 1 chapter. It feels like 30% of the last installment. Im a huge fan of previous two installments but I can’t really recommend this game, sorry. smh.
  • Great title. Some issues Dec 1, 2020

    By darkfire-shadows
I have loved this franchise since the first one and this is no different. However this is like playing on level 12. Seems absurdly hard to do anything and I think it’s the controls. Aiming and firing is inconsistent. Toggling between sneak and offensive mode is to finicky. Switching weapons it not smooth. I’m playing on iPhone 12 Pro Max. Fix these and the game would be better. I die constantly because I tried to run but toggled to sneak and moved too slowly. I selected a different weapon but it didn’t register and I’m either throwing a grenade or have no ammo. I try to correct now I’m sneaking. Just inconsistent and touchy controls.

I enjoyed the first minutes of it, very solid and just like 1 and 2. But that’s where the trouble starts for me. Being forced to pay $3.99 for the rest of just chapter 1 after only getting one free mission is just no okay with me. I would have been fine with paying an upfront charge, but $3.99 PER CHAPTER? That’s just not right.

  • Not great Dec 18, 2020

Space marshals one and two were much better than three. The reason I don’t like three very much is that it’s way too much about patience, not skill. I have to spend so much time just waiting for someone to move away or to have to go back to get more ammo. Seems like half the time I was playing my guy was just waiting.

  • DEMO Really short too Dec 12, 2020

I hate games that try to scam you. It’s simply dishonest. This is not a game at all it’s only a demo when you get to play one level before you have to buy it to unlock the rest. Do not download this unless you plan on buying it.
