  • Best sequel of all time Jul 28, 2020

This game is a lot better than the original but you still get the same feeling of enjoyment while you play it with the fun new characters and the monsters all have a fun and goofy look ,from an oversized pig to a celestial gladiator to have some cool looking boss fights or have super sayin soda junkies that look epic and goofy but not so goofy where it’s unnecessary. And the small details like the look of the tavern when you upgrade the interior and the battle points you can get they can auto run stages you have already completed and the items in the blacksmith shop where you can craft thing’s that you can only get from there. And the music is totally bogus which really gives the game the great retro fell as if your playing Pac-Man of Tetris. this Is truly a game for the books of fame or what not and if you don’t believe me try it out it’s free after all unlike the first one. So have fun screw around and maybe fight a skeleton with a trumpet.

I love this game. The gameplay is really fun and enjoyable. I love the visual style and I especially enjoy all of the well balanced gameplay mechanics (such as the battling system and uprgrade systems). Progression feels very natural as you purchase better gear and make your way farther through the dungeons, all while you make your soda shop as great as it can be. The game does feature ads occasionally, but its a very small price to pay for such a great game. Get this game, you'll love it.

  • Excellent Hands On and Off Game Jul 14, 2020

I don’t usually write reviews but I have to give credit where it’s due This game is extremely fun, and very successful with its auto battling use. The difficulty progression is well balanced where you might be over powered enough to skip a 100 levels or so but losing your top tier gear to progress the story is used well to rebalance you each dimension. Most characters are each useful in a unique way ( I havnt found much use for mystic yet honestly) and gain abilities as they level up so strategy’s are always evolving. Crazy improvement over the original soda dungeon which was also a hit for me. Love the bits of dialogue, it’s not too much but it’s quippy and tight and manages to give the world some character without really slowing anything down. Not done with it, but already looking forward to future updates that add content. Oh and the music for the kitchen fight levels. Absolutely perfect. Great job guys

I as of right now have 10 hours on this game. D&D Digital Version. I think yes. Second game is laggy because I have a potato phone, but even if you have a bad phone, this game runs smooth. Perfect for travelling because internet is completely optional so you can play literally anywhere. ANYWHERE. I am 100%, right after I write this review am going to put 100 more hours into this game. This game for me will never get old. Auto-Combat is a very useful tool. This is the best game I've ever played.

  • Great Addition to Soda Dungeon Jul 9, 2020

Soda Dungeon 2 is an app that I have been anticipating for a while now. However, as with all apps, I had my doubts. Usually remakes are simply adding one or two features and are created to steal money from users through ridiculous in app purchases. This is not the case with Soda Dungeon 2. Soda dungeon was a cult classic and Soda Dungeon takes that legacy and multiplies it 100 fold. Not only is the art, gameplay, and styles the same, but the creators managed to expand a simple concept into something that is multidimensional. If you have not played Soda Dungeon, jumping into Soda Dungeon 2 is completely fine, as the developers have taken the time to create this game for all audiences. This game is great due to its immense detail, from the pixel art to the new Ambush mechanics. Soda dungeon 2 certainty is not a disappointment, and deserves all of the hype.

I just started playing this and I thought "oh finally a decent game to pass some time" until I couldn't close the ads that pop up causing me to restart the game every couple dungeon runs... do I really have to install the random app from the ad for it to disappear? I wait until the end of the ad and I still can't close it.. kind of a hassle.

You literally cannot close ads. Theres no close button and there are multiple people complaining about this. Its a great game. Such a shame you have to restart the game everytime you get an ad.

  • Fun at first, now repetitive and stale Jul 15, 2020

I had a blast at first and paid 10 dollars to avoid ads because there are ads being shoved down your throat every single level. I cannot beat level 600 though, my team is 6 level 50 mystics with the best loot I can find and thousands of points put into relics. Even after beating my way there plus over 1,000 battle point battles. Some items are impossible to find, loot gets stale, I’ve played almost 15 hours of it since it came out and I think I maxed out on fun. I’m guessing all these 5 star reviews haven’t gotten to the level 6 boss yet cause other people have complained about it too. I wouldn’t recommend downloading unless you love repetitive grinds with mandatory ads. I will change my review once a rework/update is done.

Games fine. But I want to know why I can rate this game, which is no longer getting updates, but can't rate and comment on SD2 which is still supported. Doesnt make sense, especially since sd2 has issues that can't be discussed.

WHAT? NO GREEDY DEVELOPERS???????? THANK YOU. You have the option to SAVE UP IN GAME MONEY to purchase certain items that you can usually ONLY buy in games. This is a masterpiece done right. Thank you keep it that way. ALSO THE ADS ARENT ANNOYING THANK GODDDDDD I’m a huge fan of the first and this one lives up to its name!!!! I hope there will be like pvp or something one day (By the way, I will be spending money sometime on this game in the future I just like to enjoy free to play as much as I can :)) edit: Once you pass the main story line there’s no point in playing, maybe add in multiplayer or something so there’s a point to still grind? Otherwise I might delete the game soon, the charm was fantastic, but it looses it when you’ve done everything

  • It’s Okay. Aug 24, 2020

I really enjoyed the first game and hearing about the second I was pretty excited so when I finally downloaded the game and played it for the first few minutes... I was both happy and disappointed. I liked it because of all the new aspects that were added like having a team of six, the new music for every different area, all the new creatures and bosses,But in my opinion it doesn’t measure up to the OG and I know that’s hard but I think lots of the new aspects like crafting and different buildings were all introduced really fast and so after playing for (note) only and hour I’ve come to the conclusion... It’s okay not as good as the OG, but it’s pretty alright needs a little work though.

It's a very fun game with really nice sprites and animation. But it is quite annoying with ads after everytime you die, restart or reset. I like this game. But like many idle games it does not keep playing by itself. (Not really a bad thing) in and of itself I really enjoy this game and there are a lot of quality of life improvements like crosspplatfrom saves and backups. 8/10

  • Pretty good but has some problems Aug 27, 2020

    By rentobrento79
Though I do enjoy this game a lot it does have some bugs. I have noticed that I never get bottle caps when I go into another dimension even though my brother get them whenever he goes into another one. I also am unable to use the bug report option in the menu. And I think that some of the tavern upgrades are very overpriced with some being worth 500 million coins when getting even 1 million is difficult. Though I think the overall design of the game is very good, it still has some problems that need to be fixed.

Pretty decent game with a bunch of microtransactions pushed at you. Easy to get into. The biggest complaint is that they give you a free trial of a powerup that speeds up battle. After playing with that for a few hours, you will find it extremely frustrating to go back and will find it hard not to purchase the powerup for $2. They are relying on the sunken cost fallacy and convenience to get you to buy it. I uninstalled. I don't negotiate with terrorists. 😊 Enjoy for what it's worth.

  • Fun but not finished Jul 19, 2020

When you get to the final dimension, the scaling math on gold, relics, Items, abd survivability are broken. So it's grindy and not very rewarding until floor 3000 and then you might as well stop playing after that. It's very fun up until floor 1500 and I think that's really where they ceased development. My real complaint is that the caps buy option is next to the close button for relics with no confirmation. On small phones that's a real problem. I spent real money and I was saving caps to unlock turning off sodas and I was curious that it was blown raising a low level relic 5 points. The next day it happened again. 200 premium caps in the trash.
