I'm liking this app, but .... it says I lightly snore at times, but mostly I'm quiet ... however... on the daily list where it shows the whole recording it's full of epic snoring bars and of course all the samples are quiet or lightly snoring (unless it's recording street noise) ... so I won't be purchasing the app, but I will reinstall and try a little longer

Scary accuracy
Well, first let me start by saying the only reason I even got the SnoreLab app was I was told by a friend that I snore and I told my friend they were crazy. I haven’t snored a day in my life. Another friend told me about this app and I decided to try it out & yep I snore. Not only do I snore but I have a snoring pattern every night that I now chart & understand why I don’t rest well. I’m not a epic snoozer. I’m usually on the scale of 1 to 4. which is pretty soft in comparison I guess to what it could register. I keep it right on my nightstand & it literally picks up if I roll over in bed and there’s an very distinct difference between the snore and rolling over or moving around. It’s actually help me understand also why I don’t sleep well. I wake up on the hour every single hour because I gasp for air and I never knew I did that. So I probably should go in for a sleep study. Who knew, but I also found out I talk in my sleep. I wake up each morning and I find it comical and shocking to listen to my sleep recordings throughout the night. I highly recommend this app if you are trying to figure out your sleeping patterns or maybe why you’re not getting good rest or just a chart how loud you actually do snore. I promise you your wife isn’t lying to you!!! Lol or vice versa. Good luck and happy snores!!! -
Game changer
I have used this app for 2 years now and it has been a game changer. I was able to figure out what helped reduce my snoring and what didn’t. My snore scores went from in the hundreds to single digits. I keep monitoring it just to ensure it stays low. Everyone who snores could benefit from this app — best app I have ever purchased. Without this app I would never have known that propping my head & shoulders up at night (a bit higher than a wedge pillow) AND...having a fan blow on me (yes!) would be all I needed to virtually stop snoring. I discovered the fan helped quite by accident and because of this app. And, no, it’s not the white noise (altho that might be part of it) but the actual movement of the air. No idea why this works. Also, the noise of the fan is NOT drowning out the sound of my snoring. That is not why my score is so low now. It is low because I am virtually no longer snoring and I owe it all to this app. -
Really did help me sleep better
After a few nights, I bought the $10 upgrade to this app. It’s both the most expensive app I’ve ever bought, and some of the best money I’ve ever spent. I have been experimenting with different types of anti-snore devices to see what works best and is most comfortable for me, and this app helped me quickly and objectively rate how effective they are at preventing me from snoring. The interface is easy, and it supports every feature I wanted. After spending literally thousands of dollars on sleep medicine doctors, I’m now sleeping better after using this app to help me choose between a few, comparatively inexpensive, over-the-counter remedies. This ended up far more effective than I had imagined (specifically for me, the tongue-retention class of device), and this app helped me do it in a couple of weeks (and I knew what was and was not working after each night!) -
The only problem with the app is how clearly it validates what my wife has been telling me for years. Dang, that is a lot of loud snoring. Bought the $10 annual subscription and paired it with the $4 snore gym. If this combination solves my snoring it'll be the best $14 spent. We'll see...

Excellent tool
This is a very good tool to help you understand the nature and character of your snoring problem. In addition, it enables comparison of different treatment options. -
Snore a lot
Simply put , if you don’t sleep well this app will help you figure out the severity and what works to help. Just a great app!! -
Amazing
I love seeing a chart of actual snoring. This can save many people’s lives if they understand sleep apnea is the most undiagnosed illness of any. Get this aop and get help. -
Worth paying for
This app is outstanding and an example of getting what you pay for. Really hesitant to buy, and would have felt better with a more typical one time fee rather than subscription, but I am very happy with it. Great features, easy user interface. It was really something to hear what others have been complaining about all these years. I have worked my score down with the basics of limiting food and alcohol before bed, and trending lower using the linked snore gym app (wish that were included in the price, but it is a small one time adder). -
Like don’t love
Wish you had snore music to go to sleep that worked with other apps. I sleep with zen music... without I snore more.

Excellent
Really great app to understand how to minimize snoring. After 30 days with different remedies, I could really see what reduces snoring and what doesn’t. I found, from least to most effective, were: (no treatment), Smart Nora, sleeping on my side, and CPAP. For loud snoring, CPAP led to less than 1/2 as much as Smart Nora. None of the example graphs on this App site show it, but you can do graphs comparing the effectiveness of different remedies, which is very helpful. Snore Lab needs improvement in distinguishing snoring sounds from background noise such as sheets rustling, partner walking to bathroom, street noise, etc, all of which is logged as loud or “epic” snoring, and even the fan on CPAP, which is logged as “light” snoring. Those sounds seem so distinct, surely a bit more acoustic processing can distinguish them from snoring, which would give more accurate results.

Two things I’d change
This app is extremely useful for documenting my snoring habits. The only thing that I find extremely annoying is that you can’t easily scroll through the audio at the bottom, comparable to when you’re looking at a video on your phone and you scroll through the preview to go to the scene you want. It’s annoying that I’m guessing which section matches up perfectly for when I’m not snoring at all and then there’s a suddenly peak in audio (I’m listening for the sleep apnea gasp). I have petite hands and skinny fingers, but I can never hit the exact point on the first try when clicking on the chart above the audio either. So I just hit the fast forward button or rewind trying to guess where it is. If I could just slide through the bottom chart that’d be so much easier. And there should be an option to when you only want to hear x volume section so you can hear what SnoreLab considers loud vs epic and so on. -
Very helpful app
I was diagnosed with sleep apnea over 10 years ago and could not understand how that was possible when I didn’t sleep the entire night. The room was very cold and the bed quite uncomfortable. I got this app and noticed that I was in the range between one and three every night. But 2x it jumped up to 11 when once I was watching Netflix in bed and something within the dialogue of the show I was watching caused the recording part of this app to mark it as an Epic snore. The other time my husband was downstairs and was coughing and this time the app recorded it as a Loud snore. Both times I was already awake and realize that from now on I need to turn the recording part off whenever I get out of bed or am still in bed but reading or watching something on my iPad. Otherwise I’ve very helpful and informative app! -
I found Snorelab a good source of info about snoring and a great way to assess my own snoring and whether it's improving in response to different things I am trying ( including the Vitalsleep mouthpiece which really does seem to work for me).

Snooze function is not working since iOS 11.2
The snooze function is not working since the iOS update to 11.2. I have overslept twice since only the initial alarm goes off and then nothing follows sound wise. I see on the screen that the snooze is going off but it allows no sound from either the iPhone alarm or the snooze from within the app. Before this I thought this was a 5 star app, but now I can barely say it is worth one if using it causes me to be late for work. The program is almost unusable if it prohibits snooze from the iPhone alarm or from the app alarm clock. I almost want a refund because of this issue. Actually I think I have had the app for less than 30 days. If I can’t trust my phone to wake me up while using this app, I can’t use it. -
Pretty good but needs auto features
I have been using this app for a while. It’s a huge disappointment when you go to the effort to activate the app, select Start and put the iPad screen down, only to find the it was stuck on the “help” screen. The help screen should NOT be a screen that needs a response before the app starts working. Often I get into bed after a long day and I am usually wiped out. When I press start, the app should start! Another improvement would be to not require the iPad be face down. Why does it need to be face down? If it didn’t require it to be face down then I would have seen the app hadn’t started.

Although I find this app very useful and I like it - I am a bit concerned about security: 1. Google recommend to remove the app due to the way it collects and use personal data. 2. It is not updating with Google Fit always.

Easy to use, nice interface, not very accurate
I started using this app because I wanted to optimize my sleep and see if I was having any difficulty breathing in my sleep (in the past I have been someone who snores, but that was many years ago, and I do not have apnea nor require cpap). It's a useful app in that it very effectively records the entire night (however creepy that might sound). However its reporting of snoring is not very accurate. I live in an urban area, and it identifies noises that aren't even very loud, like a car driving down my street, as snoring. Presumably because it is louder than the sound of my breathing (one of the useful features of this app is that it is sensitive enough to notice regular breathing rhythms, so I've been grateful to learn that I am actually breathing well). So it's useful for examining your breathing, but it's not very accurate at detecting snoring in an environment that has random ambient sounds. -
Good app, but subscription only. I would prefer to have to watch ads than pay an annual or monthly subscription for this. The app itself looks and works great.

Love but...sound is sometimes muted if app running
I love this app and have used it religiously but a big bug is causing me to have to stop .. it causes my alarm to not sound off sometimes. My phone will SHOW that the alarm is sounding as a message, but when this app is running the sound will be muted. Same with text messages or phone alerts... when I turn the app off I get pelted with all my messages and alerts. Weird thing is... this “sound bug” isn’t consistent. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t. This morning it didn’t. Please fix this bug and I’ll give you 5 stars!
